He had sent word, days before his arrival, to the head of the 80th branch. That he would be coming specifically to take those back with him. Back to the Grand Line. It didn't matter what rank they were or if they've proven themselves to be strong Marines, he just wanted people. Anyone would suffice, as they would be forced to become strong once they leave with him. Not by Derous, as he won't teach anyone, but they will be faced with things that they wouldn't face here within any of the Blues. Foes of all kinds litter the Grand Line; and there waters are different than the Blues.

At this moment, arriving just hours ago. Derous would be standing at the docks, awaiting for the escort he called to come and retrieve him and his new crew. Though, he knew it wouldn't come probably tomorrow morning; the escort coming from some base near the Grand line. That didn't stop him from staying at the docks though, as he had many  memories here. And he also hasn't even selected anyone to join him, or anyone wanting to go with him. People still deciding if they still wish to go on this treacherous journey, or wrapping up loose ends. He didn't care what it was. Whoever was going to go with him had till the morning to board the ship, this message also being posted on other Marine Bases within the Blue. As Derous wanted anyone to come with him.

"I see you are still out here, isn't it late?"

"Not really, it's around nine. Not late at all."

"You've changed."

"Hmm?"

"You appear to have changed. But I still see what I saw years ago in you."

"Some things don't change."

"I guess so."

The two that spoke was the man in charge of the 80th Branch(Rear Admiral  Daichi), and Rear Admiral Derous. Both having a long history together. Both at this moment thinking about the last time they spoke, the last battle they were involved in.

"Well, this may be the last time I speak with you Derous...no. Thomas. So, I will say my peace. I was the reason you were never able to obtain the rank you have now. Yes, I used all my power to stop them from ever approving you. Even when you showed the qualities and abilities of someone above a Rear Admiral, I didn't want you to reach any higher than you were. Though I was the one to teach you everything. About what it means to be a Marine and what Justice really is, I don't. I don't think that you will be the best for this world. Not saying you aren't one of the finest Marines i've been able to personally watch grow. But because I sense that hidden agenda that you have, and I don't like it. You aren't one of the Kings of the world, but a harbinger of something I wish not to see. But, seeing despite my efforts you were able to reach Rear Admiral, I can't stop you. Besides i'm on my last legs anyway, so someone else will have to worry." With that the other Rear Admiral would walk away from where Thomas was, no more words being exchanged. Thomas would turn his head to watch the old man walk away, and have a stoic look on his face.

The Kuja herself had just gotten news that a man, no a Rear Admiral by the name of Derous was looking for a crew. The captain of Yotsuba Island had suggested her and Lucian go and join seeing as they were considered among the top marines on the small island. Seeing as this would be a chance to explore more of the world and maybe even get to see her family on Amazon Lily, she had complied. Though, Lucian didn't really like it. Only coming from the Grandline a few days ago, he wasn't looking to go back.

But of course, Kyoto had persuaded the Fishman into going back. She couldn't leave her bodyguard here while she went to dangerous places. Not to mention that she couldn't fully control her Devil Fruit powers at the moment. Sighing, she would walk onto the docks of 80th Branch from the beach, where Derous was said to be located.

About 10 feet onto the docks. She would come to see a dark skinned man with white hair. From the appearance of the man she could tell that it was the Rear Admiral, Derous. Kyoto once had tried to apply for Rear Admiral. It was stated that she could have easily became one, but they were mostly accepted in the Grandline. A place that she was somewhat foreign to. Sighing again she would continue to walk along the docks. Coming to stand a few feet away from Derous as she would say "Hi, I am Kyoto. I am looking to join your crew." said the Kuja, not explaining more of herself seeing as she was above noteworthy in the West Blue, being one of the most well known marines in it, if not the most well known. So maybe Derous already knew of her.

Behind her would be Lucian, as he would walk up behind Kyoto slowly, with his massive height he could be easily seen. "I am Lucian Lucidum Syfer. You may know me from the Noble Syfer Family, my sister is one of the Head Jailers in that horrid prison."

Finally two people would come. Derous would turn to face the direction those that began to speak to him. One would simply give their name the other would give his name as well as the extra. Derous, honestly, didn't care someone claiming to belong to an Noble Family. As there was no one of true noble birth in his eyes.

"By Horrid prison I guess you mean Imple Down. But, I will welcome you both into my Crew. I just have one question for you both. What do you wish to achieve once we make it there?"

Kyoto would smile as she motioned to Lucian. Understanding the Kuja, he would maneuver one of his tentacles to make it appear as one of those long couches. Jumping atop and sitting on it, Kyoto would look at Derous. "Well, I am looking to become one of the Rear Admirals. I applied once and was even recommend. Though, since I have yet to enter the Grandline...I can't be one. Not to mention, I am trying to find someone of the Chinjao family. I hear they possess a legendary art." said Kyoto as she crossed her left leg over her right one.

Lucian would nod after what Kyoto would say and he himself would reply to Derous. "I am simply following this young woman here. Though, if I can get to Impel Down in the future. I will choose to go see my sister there in order to settle some family squabbles with her." said Lucian as he cracked his fingers.

"Hmm, okay. That is all I wanted to know for now. When we arrive to the Grand Line I will try to get to know you all a bit more." Derous would say. Honestly, he didn't feel anymore would arrive. So if anything would come up, or those two wanted to do something other than wait. Derous would join them. Well anyone from this Blue.

In the distance a ship would be heading over, arriving ahead of schedule. It didn't take long for the ship to dock and Derous to board. Once he was joined, if they joined him, he would speak to them again. "So, before we head to the Grand Line. Do you guys mind if we stop within another Blue. Two isn't really the number i had hoped for. Or should we just head to the Grand Line? The choice is yours. "

Following the man aboard the ship. He would say a few words. Her and Lucian would look at each other only for a second, mentally deciding what they wanted to do. Nodding her head, she would look back at Derous and said "Just going to the Grandline would be find. We have already taken care of all of our business here." Lucian would nod to what Kyoto said. Walking forward onto the ship, passing the group of two as he took a seat in the middle of the deck. Kyoto would laugh at his rudeness and rub the back of her head as she would say "Sorry about that, he is quite rood."

"There it is." A ship hung in the distance. A great man pressed toward it, passing stands as he moved. Ominous. Quiet. Discontented. A general poll was taken by a popular newspaper two months ago; it asked every civilian of the West Blue to rate their marine-run world government. Not surprisingly, the newspaper found that less than 40% of the general population was content with the government. “Things were really going to hell,” said one shopkeeper. “This newest age of pirates has no respect for anything. And this gov't is doing anything about it.”

But any Marine would say otherwise – that the world's leaders, while being a good public figures for the powerless citizens of the Blues, were actually the most furtive and clandestine that the world had ever seen. For instance, in his third year as marine, he now had the opportunity to travel to the Grandline. A Rear Admiral had put out the call...

And while while he had never planned on traveling to the Grandline – for those slots were reserved for the most prodigious of servants – today, a new man had been admitted to those ranks. Cipher Pol would honour him for this.

His massive figure stepped onto the a somewhat narrow plank of 3x3, leading him onto a ship as grand as any. Massive sails adorned the top pillars – fully domesticated and a testament to the ranking of it's top official.

He was... honoured, indeed.

"Commander Raja D. Ridgeback reporting for duty. "

"Get a move on! We need you on that ship ASAP!"

As there words were spouted out, Farren could feel the muzzle of the Marine's rifle press harder into his back as the young man attempted to direct him towards yet another ship. Internally, there wasn't much holding Farren back from turning around and slaughtering the greenhorn - but externally there was an absolute need to maintain his composure and simply respond in ways that these men and women would feel most comfortable with. If he did any sort of acting out at this stage, he was sure the deal he'd been given while in Impel Down would be revoked and he'd either be captured again, or killed. The entire situation was one that Farren detested, but so far it had all managed to give him some slight reprieve when it came to the eternity he would have spent within Impel Down.

Farren, accompanied by multiple Marines, continued to make their way towards the vessel in the distance. From Farren's current position, he made note of a few people making their way onto the ship, but he couldn't exactly make out any precise details concerning them. Farren had been given only slight details about who he'd be working under directly. All Farren knew about the man was that he'd achieved the rank of Rear Admiral, other than that he hadn't been given any other details about him or their goal. In all honesty, Farren didn't exactly care what their goal would their goal would be, or who exactly he'd be working with - yet, the thought of boarding yet another vessel and embarking on yet another long journey wasn't something that Farren thought kindly of. However, if this was what he had to do to maintain his freedom he'd simply have to endure it.

Soon enough, the once prisoner finally arrived to the narrow planks that lead onto the ship that he'd be spending quite a bit of time on. With one last sigh, Farren stepped onto the plank and began to make his way onto the vessel. From here he could see that there appeared to be many others who'd just recently boarded, but he wasn't exactly in the mood to greet any of them. Taking a seat at one of the tables that populated the deck of the vessel, Farren prepared himself for the journey ahead.
