Psychosis

Shichibukai

Psychosis
Priority: Primary
Fighting Style: Sword Style
Skill Set Name: Dragonslayer - Power of Destruction
Skill Set Information: Dragonslayer is a sword style based on utilizing many forms of weapon styles with greatswords instead of the usual weapon. It requires great strength in the wrist, and constant awareness, leading it to become a very difficult and rare skill. At its peak, the user of Dragonslayer will be constantly in motion, using every possible avenue to attack, thrusting, slashing, smashing, kicking, even headbutting, should it be necessary. Above all else, the Dragonslayer is about pragmatism. If it works, use it. The style was created as a way to develop a constantly changing style that could not be countered. Unfortunately such a counter existed... Regardless, this style requires the user to intimately know their own body, and their strength, as well as pay attention to their surroundings. Its more skilled users almost always incorporate the Power of Destruction into it, as well, as it was meant to be.
Passives: N/A
Skillset Strengths:

  • Uses massive strength to wield greatswords as easily as longswords, even when dual wielding.
  • The sheer flexibilty of the moves allow unpredictable attacks based on many different weapons, all from Greatswords.
  • The style is meant for either fast paced constant combat, or single-stroke victories, allowing for a drastic change during combat.

Skillset Weaknesses:

  • Unlike other styles, this one is less strict on stances and preparations, meaning the user is not used to dealing with more footwork-based movesets.
  • Spears and other thrusting weapons are quick ways to force someone using this style to the defensive, due to the slowness of the attacks. Even with advanced training, the user is unlikely to be able to parry quick thrusts, and must block them, usually.

Notes: Though a relatively new and rare style, it has reached some infamy through Kuro. It was actually developed by Kuro, using his knowledge of several weapon types. Though the users generally only wield Greatswords, the style permits for any larger weapon of a similar size, bladed or not, to be used.
Power of Destruction Traits:
Tier 2 Skills

  • Cutting things that are usually harder than the sword itself, such as certain types of stone or even steel. The substance usually splits apart a few moments after being cut.

  • Transferring the force of a cut over a distance by swinging the sword at high speed, creating a "vacuum blade" of compressed air; or by simply creating strong winds with sword blows. This is known as a Flying Slash Attack (飛ぶ斬撃 Tobu Zangeki?). The color of these attacks varies between users such as blue, green, purple etc.

Tier 3 Traits

  • Cutting objects that are thicker than the length of the sword, such as buildings or ships.

Channeling elemental power into sword slashes, such as fire or electricity.

Material Destruction List:

  • Tier 1:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - Iron
    Lightly Damaged - Steel
  • Tier 2:
Completely Destroyed - Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - Steel
    Lightly Damaged - Titanium
  • Tier 3:
Completely Destroyed - Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials
    Partially Destroyed - Steel, Titanium
Lightly Damaged - Treasure Tree Adam
  • Tier 4:
Completely Destroyed - Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Titanium, Treasure Tree Adam
    Lightly Damaged - Diamond, Seastone
  • Tier 5:
Completely Destroyed - Titanium, Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Treasure Tree Adam, Seastone, Diamond
    Lightly Damaged - N/A
  • Tier 6:
Completely Destroyed - Diamond, Seastone, Treasure Tree Adam, Titanium, Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - N/A
    Lightly Damaged - N/A

Attribute Priorities:

  • Strength - Primary
  • Perception - Secondary
  • Speed/Durability - Non-Prioritized

Tier 1 Skills:
Skill Name: Forced Movement
Tier: 1
Type Offensive
Range: 10m
Speed: User's
Description: The user thrusts their weapon forward with such power that the sheer force drags their body with the thrust, allowing them to slide up to ten meters, depending on the terrain. This is possible due to the massive weight of the weapon, as well as the strength of the thrust. Naturally, the 'sliding' is only a way to describe it, as the user's feet actually leave the floor by a solid inch, though this makes it difficult to use on any rocky terrain.

Skill Name: Godfoot
Tier: 1
Type Offensive
Range: 3m
Speed: User's
Description: The user slams one greatsword down, towards their opponent,
but not quite hitting them. This act causes the ground to shudder for a moment as the massive weight causes displacement of material, particularly on more solid surfaces,
which are easier to reflect damage through. When it is used on soil, it is at its weakest.
When the ground shakes, the opponent is often thrown off guard, and loses their footing. At this time, the user uses the first sword's momentum to carry themselves over the sword's strike location, and slam their other sword down on top of their opponent, providing said opponent did not dodge or otherwise escape the attack.

Tier 2 Skills:

Skill Name: Dragon Scales
Tier: 2
Type Defensive
Range: Blade's length
Speed: User's
Description: The only true defensive skill of this style, the user positions their swords towards an opponent, and begins to tilt the weapon slightly. It is only when an object, be it a cannonball, bullet, or other projectile, hits the weapon that the move actually begins. The move is meant to redirect any projectile back at its sender, although the speed decreases due to this. It is done through overt tilting of the greatsword, and careful, precise movements at the exact moment the blade is struck. Naturally, the user has to be capable of reacting to the projectile, and have the physical strength to match the projectile's force. It can defend up to one tier 3 skill, 2 tier 2 skills and four tier 1 skills. Naturally, non-physical attacks are not affected by this.

Skill Name: Vanishing Dragon
Tier: 2
Type Supplementary
Range: Within Sight
Speed: User's
Description: The user drags a blade across the ground, then strikes any piece of metal. The speed at which this is done causes an incredible sudden burst of sparks, leading to something akin to a small flashbang, though far more similar to a sudden bright light being shined on someone who was used to darkness. Those who see it are not blinded for more than a moment, but that moment is crucial. Even the user will have to avert their eyes to avoid it.

(Note: Vanishing Dragon is less a flashbang and more like really bright sparks suddenly lighting up. No deafness, nothing more than a momentary flash, then literally no aftereffects.)

Skill Name: Powered Penetration
Tier: 2
Type Offensive
Range: 40m
Speed: 2
Description: Similar to the Forced Movement technique, the user preforms a powerful thrust forward, though this time, instead of a movement technique, this is meant to be a long range piercing technique, allowing the user to penetrate barriers through a flying slash attack. The downside is that this attack is much more blunt force than a normal piercing attack, due to the size of the weapons. It is, however, enough to be useful. The diameter of the attack ranges from a starting point equal to a pin point, to the ending point at maximum distance, which leaves the maximum possible diameter of this attack to be 12m

Tier 3 Skills:

Skill Name: Black Hole
Tier: 3
Type Offensive
Range: 2m
Speed: User's
Description: The user swings both his swords outward at the same time with such intensity that it creates a momentary vacuum, sucking all nearby objects towards the affected area for a split second. Objects within 5m will be dragged closer, unless they are bolted down. This technique is dangerous against projectiles, however, as the only area Kuro can use this is an area right in front of him, due to it requiring both swords being swung with equal force and speed. In a second, the vacuum is replaced by normal air, though causing a loud bang, as well as a mild explosion, which only pushes things back, rather than harm them, even affecting the user. To resist the vacuum's suction, the opponent must have Tier 3 or higher strength, and have something to hold onto, including the user.

Skill Name: White Hole
Tier: 3
Type Defensive
Range: 5m
Speed: User's
Description: Similar to how Black Hole works, the user needs to utilize both weapons at the same time, with the same intensity. Instead of spreading them apart,
however, the user must swing them towards each other, the speed creating such intense air pressure that the blades automatically stop one inch from each other.
The pressure then expands outward in a shockwave, disrupting projectiles and anyone within the range, throwing them off target, and in some cases, with larger objects like cannonballs, it stops their momentum completely. Unfortunately, this also makes the user's ears become less receptive for three posts.

Tier 4 Skills:

Skill Name: Dragonfire
Tier: 4
Type Offensive
Range: 55m
Speed: 4
Description: The user slams their blades together, grabbing them both as one would with a normal, single greatsword. This action causes such friction that the blades actually catch on fire momentarily. During this time, the user slashes, or thrusts the combined blades, sending out an incredibly powerful flying blade attack, coated in fire. Immediately after this attack, the fire on the swords fades out, returning the blades to normal, if hotter than normal, though not to the point of doing anything for any further attacks. The fire does not necessarily enhance damage, as the fire is not as hot as a usual skill of the same level. Instead, it is meant to catch whatever flammable things it hits on fire. Metal and the like will not be affected besides a minor increase in heat, but clothing and other flammable materials will be set on fire, including explosives.

Need to list which two traits where taken at tier 2
and which ones would be your tier 3
Material Destruction List:

  • Tier 1:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - Iron
    Lightly Damaged - Steel
  • Tier 2:
Completely Destroyed - Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - Steel
    Lightly Damaged - Titanium
  • Tier 3:
Completely Destroyed - Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials
    Partially Destroyed - Steel, Titanium
Lightly Damaged - Treasure Tree Adam
  • Tier 4:
Completely Destroyed - Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Titanium, Treasure Tree Adam
    Lightly Damaged - Diamond
  • Tier 5:
Completely Destroyed - Titanium, Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Treasure Tree Adam, Diamond
Lightly Damaged - Seastone Diamond should also be here
  • Tier 6:
Completely Destroyed - Diamond, Seastone, Treasure Tree Adam, Titanium, Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
    Partially Destroyed - N/A
    Lightly Damaged - N/A

Nothing should ever be jumping from lightly damaged to completely destroyed, Sea stone and diamond are classed as the same durability here, so should always be together.

Attribute Priorities:

  • Strength - Primary
  • Perception - Secondary
  • Speed/Durability - Non-Prioritized

Tier 1 Skills:
Skill Name: Forced Movement
Tier: 1
Type Offensive
Range: 10m

Description: Similar to the Forced Movement technique, the user preforms a powerful thrust forward, though this time, instead of a movement technique, this is meant to be a long range piercing technique, allowing the user to penetrate barriers through a flying slash attack. The downside is that this attack is much more blunt force than a normal piercing attack, due to the size of the weapons. It is, however, enough to be useful. The diameter of the attack ranges from a starting point equal to a pin point, to the ending point at maximum distance, which leaves the maximum possible diameter of this attack to be 9m

Flying slash attacks are tier 2 if thats what you have chosen in your pod section or tier 3.

State it can defend up to one tier 3 skill, 2 tier 2 skills and four tier 1 skills, given that it is simply a wall formed by the two blades, things like fire, water,
elements and things that bypass physical defence would not be effected by the defence
[/color]

Tier: 2
Type Supplementary
Range: Within Sight

Those who see it are not blinded for moment than a moment, but that moment is crucial. Even the user will have to avert their eyes to avoid it.Seems a but if a stretch to create a flash bang simply from striking any piece of metal. Im going to say no to this technique due to that.

Skill Name: Boosting Dragon
Tier: 2
Type Offensive
Range: 40m
Speed: User's
Description: A technique designed for pure destruction, this is a relatively simple skill. It could be considered a maximum effort two handed strike, meant to destroy whatever it, or the flying slashing attack it creates, hits. In terms of system, this skill acts as though every item on the Material Destruction list is one tier lower. The user must be standing still when using this technique, and must be able to have time to drop his other weapon and switch to using two hands.

for a full MDL boost, this skill would need to be tier 3,
your projectile speed should also state being the tier of the skill.

Tier 3 Skills:

Skill Name: Black Hole
Tier: 3
Type Offensive
Range: 2m
Speed: User's
Description: The user swings both his swords outward at the same time with such intensity that it creates a momentary vacuum, sucking all nearby objects towards the affected area for a split second. To resist the vacuum's suction, the opponent must have Tier 3 or higher strength, and have something to hold onto.

Hmmm, im assuming this means you also have to find a way to not be sucked into the vacuum?

Skill Name: White Hole
Tier: 3
Type Defensive
Range: 5m
Speed: User's
Description: Similar to how Black Hole works, the user needs to utilize both weapons at the same time, with the same intensity. Instead of spreading them apart,
however, the user must swing them towards each other, the speed creating such intense air pressure that the blades automatically stop one inch from each other.
The pressure then expands outward in a shockwave, disrupting projectiles and anyone within the range. Unfortunately, this also makes the user's ears become less receptive for three posts.

What do you mean by disrupt?

Tier 4 Skills:

Skill Name: Dragonfire
Tier: 4
Type Offensive
Range: 75m
Speed: User's
Description: The user slams their blades together, grabbing them both as one would with a normal, single greatsword. This action causes such friction that the blades actually catch on fire momentarily. During this time, the user slashes, or thrusts the combined blades, sending out an incredibly powerful flying blade attack, coated in fire. Immediately after this attack, the fire on the swords fades out, returning the blades to normal, if hotter than normal, though not to the point of doing anything for any further attacks.

Lower the range to 55, the speed of the technique should be four, what does the fire do? how strong is it?

I fixed everything but Vanishing Dragon and Black hole.
In response to the questions about them, Vanishing Dragon is less a flashbang and more like really bright sparks suddenly lighting up. No deafness, nothing more than a momentary flash, then literally no aftereffects.

Yes, I would have to have a way to prevent getting sucked in to Black Hole as well.

State that information about Black Hole in the description to allow no room for confusion. Just make a side note about the flash in the description again, just stating the information you told us.
