Fishman Island : ONES TRUE SELF! ENTER THE DRAGON! Tumblr_nj62fvwehR1rcxbkyo6_500
"I feel, so different" The slightly high pitched males voice echoed through the empty room. Hair that had been once so long, so feminine was now completely chopped off, framing his face in a more masculine sort of way. Spikes of hair flowing to just below his eyes at the longest. Kimono's, dresses, blouses. Clothing he had once worn, where all boxed up ready to give to those whom needed it. He had heard of a charity district of fishman island and had decided to donate all the old clothing he had once wore when he went by the name Hilda Valentina. Taking in a deep breath in, he continued to stare at himself in the mirror. Never had he looked so manly in human form, even when he was younger. His muscled seemed larger, though still smaller than others of his race. His eyes remained the same though, filled with everything that had happened in his past.

A sword, a trait he had picked up from his father years and years ago, now hung from its sheathe, his quiver and arrows having been discarded in favour of his new weapon, which he had custom made from the blacksmith on the island. He had always hated wielding a sword ever since he was forced to do so. Though now, with everything falling in to place. It seemed as though this was the right time. "God, the crew is going to have a fit when they realize who I am" Jerome said laughing softly. It was a true laugh, gentle, and care free, a laugh he had not been capable of releasing for some time. "I feel, like me for the first time" he said to himself within the mirror, nodding to himself. "This is who I am" he said turning from the mirror with a giant ass smile upon his face.

Taking the box in hand, he would leave his room and soon be in the hustle and bustle of the island. Fishmen and humans wandered around, people where still talking of the events that happened one week today, of how the Yonko helped save Fishman Island, of how the true hero though was Lin of the marine who brought a battalion to aid them. The marines had recieved essentially the key to the cit and now held Fishman Island within their paws. More marine ships docked each day. Though it was when he was dropping his clothing off to the shop did he hear the whispers.

"It's true, hurry up and get everything you need, don't come out of your house for anything" Wondering what this meant Jerome would listen in but the girls left, though as he left whispers flowed through the island. Did they realize The Songbirds still remained upon fishman island? After the events of the war, Jerome, as Hilda had told them to wait for her, that she would return in one weeks time. That deadline was up today and he as his true self had every intention of meeting up with those he held dear. "Excuse me miss, Uhm, whats everyone so stressed out about" he asked the closest person, a nice old mermaid. "Oh boy, didn't you hear, the dragons coming. It was announced, its the first time a dragons came here since Oceanus took us under him. With Oceanus's protection gone, the marines and dragons can have their way with us once more" the old woman said, sadness in her eyes.

Strange.....Jerome knew the marines had a reputation, and he knew all too well the cruelty of the dragons. But he never thought that Oceanus's hold, that his grip on fishman island would have frightened the dragons so much that they dare not return. Now that the marines had openly stated to the world their intentions.....One of these dragons was coming back. "Interesting" Jerome said to himself. Now being that he was not in his frog form, he was pretty much an unknown entity with nothing drawing suspicion to him. There where bounty hunters and marines, armed warriors and such walking around so the fact that he was armed with his blade would mean nothing. His appearance differed greatly from Hilda that not even his own crew would know who he was without him revealing an obvious ability or two. Perhaps, he could take a peek at the dragon that was said to be coming.

The smell of high fructose sugar lingered within the walls contents, the Auburn Songbird lied below the ceilings of the factory's brick walls. "Rishi Rishi... It's about time for Frog to make his big reappearance." Junbei chuckled, propping against the staircase within the warehouse, his Funky Jammer in hand, strumming against the strings of his pianotar. "Have you gotten taller, Junbei?" Octavia asked, as she sat at the halfway point of the staircase that led to the main factory, letting her longs stretch all the way to the floor. "Nope. Not to my knowledge... I do feel stronger I guess. Although... I'm pretty banged up from Oceanus Lap Dogs." Junbei stated. On the bottom floor of the Three Story Building, the Candy Factory was generally closed off to the public, security was even more tighter now that it housed the Yonko, who'd been hiding out for the last week or so. Getting up to stretch, the six foot tall man felt the weight of his tonfas, Gravitas, Vitas, Blitz Sticks and his Panels blades as he stood but at this point, it was a familiar sensation. "Ugh... I left Nova and Goldie on the Dutchman... I probably should've went back for Charlotte and the others." Junbei pouted, exclaiming. Walking from behind Junbei, hitting him in his head with rolled up Local Newspaper, "That wouldn't be smart if a Yonko went gallivanting around the map with all his best men. Who'd protect Tres? Like Charlotte said, 'The goal was to get you Sabaody.' It was the plan since we took Lotus two years ago. That's why the New World Branch went ahead." Nico commented. "Still sucks... Because of Oceanus... I didn't get to see Caprice or Juju again... Damn him." Junbei exclaimed snarling half-assed. "More like you had to jump in and mess with him..." Nico retorted sighing.

"The real fun starts now." Junbei bluntly stated. "Since the Admiral's been dispatched here... I've been keeping low. Who would've thought that their was a marine among the forces recruited... Strong enough to take on a General in Oceanus Army too." Junbei said. "The real question is... How are we getting off Fishman Island? If the plan was to get Junbei to the New World... It's all cool having a ship waiting for us... but how are we leaving?" Octavia asked. "Barrels maybe!?" Junbei exclaimed grinning. Both Songbird's ignored their Captain and wrecked their brains for a more logical conclusion. "Yer' pirates... steal one." the Candy Factory Owner chimed in. "I can't house you lot any longer... The Marines are running out of places to search. I heard a whole bunch of those coated ships you guys rode here are located off the coast by the Fish Bus Stop. However, I think a whole armada of marines are protecting them." Candy Owner commented. "We find Frog. Then we grab a ship and blow this joint." Junbei commented.

Fishman Island : ONES TRUE SELF! ENTER THE DRAGON! Luviagelita.Edelfelt.full.235041

Walking through the streets of Fishman Island, Ivette Winsor, the first but most definitely not the last, Celestial Dragon to land on the island since it has been opened by the marines. Ivette was wearing a very finely made and expensive sleeveless collared blue dress with white highlights, white silken gloves, and blue high-heels. She wore a cocky smile as she eyed each and every fishfolk and Merfolk she passed, looking for suitable play things to test some of her equipment she had been wanting to try on something that was a human for awhile now. The Fishfolk and merfolk who were previously hurrying to put away their things and get inside stopped when they noticed her and quickly got down on their hands and knees, putting their foreheads on the ground. Ivette looked over each and every one as she contemplated which ones she could have the most fun with. "Hmmm. I want, that one, that one, OOOH! definetly that one! I want that Swordfish looking on, and that one and-" Ivette would point at various Fish and Merfolk of the ones she liked, like she was picking different kinds of candy from a candy store, though with less excitement. She would point out several, as her entourage, her twenty Cyborg Mercenaries would go about with handcuffs after Ivette had passed the selected Fishfolk, would put them in handcuffs and slave collars. Those who resisted were swiftly beaten by two members while a third placed them in chains anyway.

Beside her was her utter royal Robot Butler, a once human man who has since had his entire insides scooped out and replaced with circuitry. He was in standard butler garb, black tuxedo with a white undershirt and black tie, black loafers to match his entire ensemble with his right hand at an exactly 90 degree angle across his stomach. On his waist was a katana of the finest make, it had a fire red hilt, with a long similarly red sheath, supplied to him by Ivette herself. He would say nothing except "Of course Goddess-sama"  In a pleasantly happy voice, when she pointed at one, as they walked along.

The Fishfolk would look on in a mix of horror, fear, and anger, as while life under Oceanus was terrible, at least no one was forced into slavedom, but they didn't do anything but keep their heads down, as they accepted their fate.

Ivette continued to pick Fishfolk, but soon pointed at a child that was situated between a Mermaid and Fishman. "Aaaaaand with that one our shopping trip will be done." Ivette would say with a sadistic grin upon her face, her face shadowed, only her eyes and grin showing.

The Fish man would look up in horror, then outrage, screaming "You cannot do-" But before he could be finished, Ivette's butler would slice the mans head off with a quickly and minimalist movement (T5), before quickly re-sheathing his not even bloodied blade. "How dare someone as filthy as you dare speak directly to Goddess-sama like that." The butler would say in an angry voice. When the blade clicked against the sheathe as it fully sheathed, the Fishman's neck would slowly move revealing a cut, before his head fell off side ways to his left and his body slumped forward. The Mermaid would shriek in terror and sadness as she scooted herself back away from the corpse. The child would look on in confusion, before tears would fill his eyes and he would scream his "Daddy!" as he pushed the quickly cooling corpse.

Ivette would put her ears on her head in response to the loud shriek and crying before saying to her butler "Sabastian, I changed my mind, kill them both, they're to annoying." She would say in annoyance at the loud shrieking and crying.

"With Pleasure Goddess-sama." Sabatian would say as he put his hand on his sword hilt in the same movement he used before to chop off the Fishman's head, before using the same movement to lash out with his blade at the Mermaid and child.

Sound of metal clashed, blade upon blade. As soon as the cyborgs began placing slave collars on fishmen, Jeromes haki kicked in. The father whom was marked for death spared on the whim of a singular man. The green hilted blade elegantly positioned itself in between the butler and the father. With enhanced vision, and his now back to human legs, the frog frog no mi user whom had been in the crowd witnessing the events of the Celestial choosing their slaves, anticipating and halting the hit was simple for one as skilled as Jerome. Though his hands shook slightly, having not held a blade in such a long time, it felt like such a foreign object. "Now, thats not very nice, trying to rip a kid from their parents" The mysterious man would say as he looked to the robot and gave a gentle wink. That gentle wink though was not harmless. Of course it was a form of fighting that was very rare, something not many people would be well versed within, thus anticipating a power merely brought from the closing of a single eye would prove to be nearly impossible. But from this single wink, power burst forth, air of immense capability. Condensed air that burst forth with a diameter of 35 meters and moved at speeds that where blinding, [tier 6] flying forth for a maximum range of fifty meters. The mysterious swordsman was no mere weakling.

If successful, the robotic butler swordsman would, well in this case with such close ranges, and with  taking the full brunt of the singular attack, his titanium body if hit would resemble a soda can more than what it had previously looked like. Oil and short circuting wires would hang from the broken body as it flew forth, it would seem that some of the cyborg mechas where also in the way of the powerful death wink that had been released, as was Miss Windsor herself, perhaps Jerome would get lucky and be able to take out the head in one fell swoop. If unsuccessful he would push back on his sword, with strong legs he would push from the ground to put distance between he and the robot. Regardless whether successful or not he would give out a warning. "Everyone who doesn't want to die, better run" the swordsman said grasping his blade. He was conscious of not transforming at this moment. Not wanting to pull out the big guns straight away, his aim for now was to see how his human skills compared to his acrobatic frog form.

"I forgot that prior to Oceanus holding fishman island, the marines held it. That it was where scum like you dragons come to pick up exotic slaves. Well let me tell you this. I will NOT allow you to return and do what you want. On my life, you will not take a single fishman with you. Jerome uttered. Bringing his sword upward, preparing himself.  "Mr Windsor, I'm afraid that you can no longer get away with what you want" Jerome uttered. Yes he knew this woman, not in person, not personally, but a famed dragon Miss Ivette Windsor, married to Acheron Morio of the Gorosei and one of the most famed dragons. Thankfully though, in this form. She would view him nothing more as a nameless warrior.

Swarms of bodies banged on the Candy Factory's Doors, as frantic Fishmen ushered into the building, screaming for the Owner and workers to shut the factory doors as quick as possible. As a single fishman dropped onto his knees, Junbei, who was merely fifteen meters away on the staircase, began to walk down the staircase closing the distance, already well in range for his ears to pick up to man's mouth's movements. "I can't believe it... A Celestial Dragon is... here!" the man exclaimed screaming in immense horror, covering his mouth to cripple to sound of his woes, by the chance that any of the Celestial Dragon's Party who slowly trotted outside of the building approaching might hear his screech. However, this was pure fear, at this point, the incident between the Butler and innocent had yet to occur, it was just many men running away in fear of either becoming slaves or worse, a disposable plaything for the day, noticing the all too familiar slave collars in her minions possession. Those who didn't manage to get inside in time were frozen in fear, pressing their heads towards the ground as if a God walked among them. Activating his Kenbunshoku Haki at this point, expanding his mental mind map outwards for up to 1 Kilometre, Junbei was able to gain the basic layout of the scene ahead. The figure stood isolated in her route onward, the roads packed from left to right with bodies, praising her in a march of supremacy.

It was a sick parade, where fear reeked from all present as immense doom fell in their eyes. From the scope of things, Junbei was inside the factory, the Candy Factory on the left of the woman's posse in the streets but about twenty or so meters away and closing. She was escorted by a plethora of, what seemed to be her servants or bodyguards, without an actual visual view, it'd be hard to tell or say for certain. Spawning the gates open, Junbei would slip through, making sure not to make too much nose, pressing his back against the wall of the Factory, now having a diagonal view of the Celestial's Parade. Though the mercenaries continued to seemingly follow her command, placing the Fishfolk into chains and attaching odd collars to their necks. The march was halted at the sight of a Fishman begging for his life, pleading directly to the woman herself. Before the man's plead could've been completed, the Butler's hand lassoed the blade from it's sheath, Junbei's eyes opened widely, surely, they weren't going to murder innocents in broad daylight. The murderous intent of the attempted swing could've but felt from his position. Pang! The sound of an interception occurred, everything after this would be determined by the contestants in the melee.

The man who intercepted, something was familiar about him, was it his aura, or was it the next sequence of seemingly magical events to occur. Watching from a distance, Junbei bit his lip, drawing blood which trickled down to his chin in frustration. Had nothing been done, would they've simply killed an innocent man? For what? No other reason than her mere whim, being too far away for his natural radar to pick up the conversation, Junbei promptly activated his Radar listening in for what would transpire next. "I swear... Celestial Dragon or whatever... This little runt is pissing me off." Junbei said grinning menacingly. Moments before the Bulter's attempt to strike the civilian, Nico watched from the second floor of the Candy Factory, by a window on looking the street. Activating his Kenbunshoku Haki, he'd make sure to keep track of all of the parties, present, the mercenaries, the shackle men, and her pet butler. Shining his Burn Bazooka in the sunlight, the man opened the window. He'd only watch for now, the weapon propping on his shoulder, he'd wait for the situation to develop a bit more before interject. Using his Aura Sight, he'd scan the pack for any concealed weapons or tricks up her sleeve, one false move would bring his justice into motion. His position was about twenty feet off the ground, meaning, at the point of their march stopping, he'd be facing them at an angle of about 45 Degrees, looking downward onto the street corner at their positions. Octavia idled behind, waiting to treat anyone that might be injured from her position on the steps, now over twenty meters away from Junbei. It was at this point, a burst of air flew from the brown haired male's sentinel body.

Ivette had been standing beside and a bit behind her Robot butler holding her hands over her ears to stop the sound of the shrieking mermaid and child (failing to do so sadly), when the mysterious swords men appeared in-front of her servant matching blades with her servant, His green blade matching up against her servant's red one. When the swordsman matched blades, she would instantly activate her Ken Haki, giving her vision of her surroundings, as well as a warning about what was to happen next. Widening her eyes, she would swiftly order her men to get in front of her, which all twenty of her Mercenary's did indeed do. They formed a makeshift human shield, and took the majority of the blow from the swords men. It didn't stop her from getting push back however putting her arms in-front of her protectively as well as digging her feet into the ground, she was still pushed back 45 meters because of the move. two trenches showing where she dug her feet into the ground. After she stopped moving and the wind stopped, she looked up over her arms that were protecting her and looked at what happened. First thing she noticed that all mercenary's and Sebastian were more akin to what comes out of a crusher, then to actual cyborgs and robots (respectively). All of them were strewn about everywhere along the street, some even a bit behind her, the remain's of her butler's head laying in front of her left foot, getting oil all over her high heel.

She then looked at the mysterious swordsmen with narrowed eyes, obviously annoyed and slightly mad. Gritting her teeth in annoyance she would look down at the remains of her Butler. "So much for a 'World's Greatest Swordsmen', more like most useless slave I have ever had!" She would say before raising her foot, and slamming it down onto the head, crushing it with ez. She would continue to raise he foot and bring it down again and again, before huffing and look up angrily at the swordsmen who destroyed all of her men. "I'll remember your face Peasant! I'll remember it well, for when I have gotten myself a better butler, I will come for your body! Then i'll make you watch as I skin you alive, before replacing each of your organ's with cybernetics slowly and agonizingly, and I will laugh!" She would scream at him in anger, before reaching into her dress and pulling out a trigger. Flipping the plastic casing upward, then slamming her thumb down on the button, the remains of her cybernetic  mercenary's would explode, causing a smoke cloud to form. Activating her thurster's on her back, she would fly up into the air, giving one last hate filled look at the swordsmen, before flying away towards where her ship was, in the base camp of the marines.

His haki would be able to detect that Ivette was unscathed, the army of bodies that had thrown themselves in front of his subtle attack had indeed been a saving grace for the Celestial Dragon whom emerged, angry and rather demonic like. It would seem that her butler was first to taste her wrath. Her foot repeatedly hitting the tin can that was all crushed and compressed from the powerful compressed air assault. Only when she had sated her anger, would she return her attention to Jerome. Flushed, and angry. It was true and a well known fact that Ivette Windsor was a powerful Celestial Dragon, though front line fighting certainly was not her foretei and though she had remade parts of her, combat certainly was not her fortei, dirty tricks, scientific attacks and an army of mechanised cyborgs.

Those where her strongest weapons. She had obviously believed that with the marine presence on fishman Island, bringing her strongest mecha's was not needed. Thus the fodder she had brought where ended with an attack that no one could have predicted. The Newkama Kenpo art was dangerous in deed. "Big words for such an idiotic lady" Jerome uttered as she screamed at him. Slaves that had been forced to remain due to the blast bomb slave collars would gasp at the way he spoke to the Celestial.

"Oh, So is this where you make your escape? Can't face a lone warrior on your own?" he mocked as she fondled around within her dress. With a single movement his blade was sheathed as he looked to Ivette. He also had detected on their arrival the songbirds. "I have no intention of killing you, easy as I could, you are my messenger, nothing more, nothing less. Tell the rest of the celestial dragons that fishman island is off limits" he said as her jet dials began to blast her into the air. "MARINES MAY HOLD THE ISLAND, BUT I JEROME HART, FIRST MATE OF JUNBEI VON ECHO VOW TO PROTECT IT, YOU DRAGONS WILL HAVE NO MORE SLAVES FROM HERE, BY ORDER OF THE SONGBIRD PIRATES" Jerome uttered. As if to prove his point, and to prove whom he was, as he was speaking his name, his body began to change, his voice deepening, his entire form shifting into an amphibian with dramatic effect, ending as he spoke about being a songbird member.  "Isn't that right Captain" The frog uttered as he looked to the location of Junbei, as the celestial evacuated.

As Junbei walked away from the concrete wall of the Candy Factory towards the scrap metal filled pathway, a big smile from ear to ear would fill the Yonko's face. He knew it, his aura was similar to the Frog's but, wasn't the Frog a woman? Or was he a man all along? As Junbei walked towards the Frog, he tilted his head from left to right in confusion. He'd continue to monitor the woman's exit path, both with his radar and his Kenbunshoku Haki until she'd fall off his scope, if any changes in her path would occur, he'd noticed Nico was strategically placed by the window in the factory, and he'd single to shot her down immediately. However, he'd doubt that'd be needed for now, finally making it in front of the Frog, no, Jerome, was it, the puzzled Captain steered the young male in his eyes. Resting his hand on the Frog's shoulder and chuckling, "Who are you?" Junbei asked jokingly, accepting at this point that Frog was a male. Until, it finally hit home, "BWAH YOU'RE A MAN!!?" Junbei exclaimed, his eyes bulging open widely, as if he'd seen a ghost. The Yonko's tongue flailed out of his mouth in cartoonish type manner astonished at the revelation. Running from the factory, Octavia broke the door, searched both directions momentarily, until her eyes locked onto Jerome. Running towards the male, she'd stoop down, curdling her long legs, like the make of a spring being weighed down. Sniffing the man, "YUPPERS! It's Frog alright!" Octavia exclaimed proudly, from sniffing the man. "I knew she was a he all along but I figured everyone caught on." Octavia said grinning. Leaning through the window, Nico looked down at the scene, "It was pretty obvious. I just figured if I said anything she'd kill me in my sleep or something." Nico exclaimed.

"Right!?" Octavia responded looking at Nico grinning. "He was all like, 'If I reveal my true form I'll have to kill you'" Octavia said, attempting to impersonate the Frog's face and voice. Junbei still stood their motionless for awhile, "Was I the only one who didn't know? Huh!? What else am I clueless about?" Junbei inquired to the crew. "Charlotte's feelings. My feelings. Love. A few things." Octavia's tone changed seriously abruptly. Junbei's brain filtering out the woman's response, he turned towards Jerome. "Rishi Rishi... You finally comfortable in ya' own skin now?" Junbei asked. "I guess I can't call you Hilda anymore... I guess this is what you meant by your 'leaving.'" Junbei said. Exhaling, "I didn't know what it'd do if you'd just disappear." Junbei said bluntly. "Well... I'm glad to have the version of you, you're most comfortable with travelling at my side." Junbei said, shooting the man a grin from the bottom of his heart, a grin so wide and genuine, if they'd be anymore mushier, Junbei would've cried. The sound of boots pressing against the concrete in swarms of hundred's could've been heard, approaching from each side in the district. "Oi. Jun." Nico stated. "I'm sure Frog- Jerome senses it too. It's alot of them. Coming from all directions... I can hear their murmurs... Admiral... Songbirds... Hilda.... Junbei... They're talking about us." Junbei would report in realtime. "Admiral?" Junbei pondered. "Is that a code name or something?" Junbei exclaimed genuinely lost. "Nico. Octavia. Free the slaves from their shackles... I'll see if I can do something about their collars." Junbei inquired. Touching the men's bomber collars, Junbei's sound-waves examined the frequency of the collar's material. Whistling, "These things are pretty nasty... It's latched right down to the skin. I should be to disintegrate it before bomb can even go off though." Junbei stated. One by one, the Songbird used his sound-wave to malfunction the collars.

The rays of the vibrant sun began to beam down on those housed on the Grand Maria. Glistened eyes glared towards the rays in awe wondering how they could be experiencing something of this magnitude while underwater. "This is gorgeous!" said one patron on the boat, the astonishment across the board was breathe taking enough. Even Bazel who never gets caught up in the spectacle of things found himself gazing at the gorgeous rays of light stemming from what appeared to be the vibrant home to all merfolk alike, Fishman Island. "Aye Nicky boy! are we here?" Said a crew member to which Nick turned and smirked, he'd pick up the radio to speak into it. "Yellow Beard Pirates, it looks like we've reached the gorgeous home in the ocean Fishman Island." Even in Nick's tone of voice Bazel could tell his best friend was enjoying the scenery. Standing at the top of the deck Bazel glared towards the island with an intense stare. He knew what was to come from this Island and what it meant going forward. Putting the radio down a happier than usual Faust yelled towards Bazel "Oi captain! You know what this is?" the echo on the ship kept the noise inside and loud, the entire crew started stomping on the ground creating a drum roll for their captain.

"The first step towards the New World!"

The applause and hurrah's that broke out after Baz spoke was loud enough for an entire village. Bazel couldn't help but smirk as his crew had officially bought in to the notion of bigger and better and were prepared to brave the seas. "Does this mean you're going to do something stupid to get his attention?" asked Kash who had steadily approached her captain. He'd look at his first mate and place his right hand on her shoulder. "What are you talking about Kringle." said a sarcastic Bazel. The first mate of the fire bird would smirk "You're on his island. You're on your way to the New World. Seems like the time to start one of your little things with the Pirate King." Bazel began to break out in a small laughter as he knew Kash had mastered his mind a long time ago. "Only time will tell Kash, until then let the good times roll first mate." Kash smiled for just a split second before turning from Bazel and walking away "You're going to make an interesting Pirate King one day Bazel D. Wiggins." Bazel smiled towards Kash before walking away from his post also. He'd be making his way towards the lower deck of the ship where his quarters were. "Oi Faust, kick my door in when we reach the docks." said Bazel before the yawning captain went to his room.

When the crew had eventually docked Bazel had gotten a wake up call through the loud speaker stationed in the ship. "OI, Where the hell is the rookie! He's with me today." Said a grouchy Bazel who haunted the deck of the Grand Maria. On his wrist was one of the several baby den den mushi that Bazel had possession of. On Faust wrist was another and there were three more below. When Alaric eventually got the call about the rookie Bazel was looking for the two would make their way into town. Bazel sporting his recently favored cloak which was beige in color and covered his body from potential marines and others who'd like to make a show out of Bazel's arrival. As the duo exited the boat Bazel looked back at Faust "When Kash wakes from her slumber let her know I'm getting into some shit." said Bazel with a smile, his mouth and the edges of his hair the only things you could see. Signaling for the rokie to follow his lead Bazel had made his way down the ramp of the Grand Maria onto the shores of the Grand Maria.

Bazel didn't really bring Alaric to get to know him but more so to vet him out and make sure he didn't let a lame sack of shit into his crew. Bazel prided himself on being a Yellow Beard Pirate and he didn't want that reputation tarnished by some weak twit with no fun in his blood. The crew had docks some hours ago before Bazel was actually waken up and he was okay with that. Had he been waken up sooner he might have burned down the Grand Maria. "So rookie, what do you do for fun?" asked Bazel who was still cloaked, all the while there was a band of pirates heading back towards the docks. "Celestial Dragons beheading people in the streets, and the Songbird pirates are here? We need to get lost before shit goes south." Bazel heard the conversation and smiled gingerly under the cloak. "Move rookie let's go! I got something to do" Bazel would start making haste towards the heart of fishman island. Eventually he was bound to find the man he was looking for, Junbei Von Echo, someone Bazel considered a friend and a rival on the Ocean Floor. On his run Bazel stopped at a local grocery stand and noticed they sold sake which was large enough to parch a giant mer-shark. Bazel decided to purchase one and strap it on his back. This bottle was roughly three times his size and it didn't effect his movements at all. Afterwards he'd continue his run through the island searching for his rival.

Once again he sat below in the crew quarters sitting in his bunk. He was rather feeling lazy this day and didn't even bother to look outside at the ocean floor as the ship sailed towards Fishman Island. His eyelids were somewhat heavy and just as he was about to fall asleep he heard a voice over the radio which jolted him awake. He hit his head on the top of his bunk and winced in pain and took a few breaths to calm himself down. He did not use to sleeping in bunk beds as he had been accustomed to a large bed aboard his ships.

He rubbed his eyes sleepily and shrugged his shoulders. He guessed if they were going to be on the island shortly he might as well take a view from the deck. he shrugged and got out of his bed and proceeded towards the top deck. for this and this alone, he was happy he saw the splendor of the deep ocean and there standing like a jewel was Fishman island. it was truly a breathtaking site to behold the island giving of a radiance beneath the darkness of the sea only one word escaped his lips as he looked out at the island "Beautiful."

He turned his head as he heard a somewhat irritable le voice asking where the rookie was. He sighed and waved his hand in the w\air signaling his location to the voice. He was new on the crew and it was somewhat annoying as everyone called him a rookie. He had a decent sized bounty on his head after all. but such was the way on the crew new guy gets the hazing he supposed. He saw the captains signal and begrudgingly followed behind him though there was excitement in his step.

He kept silent his white trench coat ever apparent on him as his hands were casually in his pockets. He picked up his head when the captain addressed him on what he liked to do for fun. "well I like... " was what he began to say when he was cut off mid-sentence when he heard a man "Celestial Dragons beheading people in the streets, and the Songbird pirates are here? We need to get lost before shit goes south." then mentioning of the words celestial dragon and he stopped in his tracks. His heart rate increased as veins in the side of his head began to protrude angrily. His pupils dilated as he took a few deep breaths and stood his ground as he tried to calm himself down.

There was a celestial dragon here now of all places to be causing problems. he followed obediently behind his captain, however, his rage still very apparent. He watched as his captain bought an overly large sized bottle of sake and he himself bought a modest size one and took a long hard swig from it to help calm himself down. He felt somewhat calmer as the sake hit his gut he let out a sigh and wiped his mouth with his hand and looked towards the captain. "Perhaps we should go check out that celestial dragon mess captain could be some fun over there."

It had been a rather hectic day for Howard. He had been planning on making sure that the visiting Celestial Dragon wasn’t going to be making too much of a ruckus on his recently secured island. He didn’t really have any hopes for this visit of hers to go well, given his knowledge of how she normally acted. There was still some slim hope that she wouldn’t kill any civilians, but he was prepared for the worst. Given that she should have been arriving at any time today, he had decided to go patrolling about whilst using his kenbunshoku haki at its maximum range, being careful to note any interesting anomalies that might lead to him finding something amiss. It was at this time that he was made aware by a low tier marine that the Celestial Dragon had already begun to make her rounds to pick up experimental material. ”Fucking hell..”. Howard grunted under his breath as he utilized his fastest unenhanced speed to make his way towards the area where the Celestial Dragon was known to be, still continuing to utilize his kenbunshoku haki as a means to find dangers and anomalies. Before moving in that direction he made sure to notify two of his rear admirals to follow close behind, those rear admirals being Aoi Yoshida and Sansun Jikunman.

After arriving one kilometer away from where the Celestial dragon was currently making her rounds, he was made aware of the carnage taking place. He had arrived just as Jerome had intercepted the butler of the Celestial Dragon, and through the use of kenbunshoku haki witnessed the violence that unfolded. He saw as Jerome utilized his death wink to slaughter an innumerable number of civilians in an attempt to kill the Celestial Dragon. The man that once had the hope of being saved was obliterated in the blink of an eye. The bodies of women and children lay strewn about on the ground, their blood staining the pavement. The worst part of it all was that Jerome did not have single shred of a reaction to the slaughter he had just performed, instead acting as though he was a hero. He gallantly stood in the puddle of blood leaking from the severed torso of an 8 year old child, now deceased.

An even ghastlier site unfolded before Howard’s eyes as a pregnant fish woman, now missing both her legs, slowly crawled towards the severed upper body of the 8 year old boy, leaking blood from the stumps where her legs used to be. ”B-Billy….. wake up dear...”, she whispered. “W-wake u-up”. Her voice was now more frantic and tear filled. After a few seconds she had finally come to the realization that her child was gone for good and not only that, the one she was carrying had been killed by the force of the blast as well. She was also aware that she would soon follow, and that her hardworking husband would never be able to see the faces of his wife or children again. She looked upon Jerome in despair, looking deep into his eyes as she picked up a fallen gun on the ground. She placed it to her head as fast as she could and pulled the trigger, the blood and brain matter splattering across Jerome’s clothing. She had done this only a meter away from him after all, but for some reason, the man did not react in the slightest. He and Junbei had their happy reunion as normal, completely disregarding the blood and carnage around them.

Via the use of his kenbunshoku haki, Howard also saw how the man transformed himself in a frog and realized that the group responsible for this travesty was The Songbirds. A disturbing feeling began to well up in his stomach as he took in the information at hand. A surging tide of rage threatened to boil out and cause him to lose all semblance of reason. Of course, given his experience as an admiral and the many life threatening situations he had been in, he knew that giving into his anger would be the death of him and of the many civilians he had sworn to protect. This was still the most angry he had ever been in his life however, and his soul mourned for loss of so much innocent life. It was as though he could hear the souls of the fallen calling him to avenge their pointless deaths. He knew that even if he had to stake his life upon it, that he needed to obliterate The Songbirds with all the forces available to him. These sick individuals did not deserve to continue walking the earth, wantonly causing destruction, suffering, and mayhem wherever they went.

The instant that Howard had gotten within one kilometer of the encounter he had continued to move towards it along with his rear admirals. They were also utilizing kenbunshoku haki and were able to see the majority of the scene as they reached the seven hundred and fifty meter mark. They had all viewed what happened while moving towards their destination. Howard had been utilizing his aura sight the moment he had viewed the members of the Songbirds, and he was made aware of each of their positions as he continued to approach them at his fastest unenhanced speed. Given that they were having their little reunion by the time he had reached the two hundred and fifty meter mark, Howard was ready to completely utilize his arsenal to destroy his opposition. As he had been utilizing his kenbunshoku haki for quite some time, Howard already had a very clear understanding of the terrain he was able to work with. The Songbirds entire crew was having their small reunion in the center of street that lay between two walls of buildings. They were in the center of a street that was twenty meters in width north to south and three hundred meters east to west, with each end of the eastern and western sides having a T split road going north and south. Junbei was facing south as he approached Jerome, who was facing north. Each of the buildings were a uniform fifty meters in height and would allow for attacks to be rained down from above.

Around the time that Junbei caught wind of the approaching marine troops, Howard had already utilized his speed to arrive on top of the building directly overlooking the Songbirds to the north. His arrival was marked shortly after with a distinctive cry of rage in which Howard shouted:

“DIE YOU BASTARDS!”

Howard’s voice echoed for hundreds of meters and could be distinctly heard by the Songbirds. A tear fell down Howard’s face as he swung his swords with the greatest force he could muster, having drawn them on the way over. The was done simultaneously to when Junbei was about to attempt to remove the bombs from the collars. With all of his anger he utilized both swords simultaneously, making sure that neither of the attacks that came from them stopped the other from traveling forward. From his left sword made of seastone, a massive spiraling air pressure wave in the form of a sphere with a one hundred meter diameter was launched towards the Songbirds. This wave would flatten everything in front Howard for hundred meters in all directions, with the entire Songbird crew being in the epicenter. Anything struck by the wave of spiraling air pressure would be ground into dust, with no material being strong enough to withstand its power. Given the close proximity of this attack, it was unlikely for there to be any method of traversing enough ground to get out of its range before it would strike. The spiraling air pressure wave traveled at its quickest speed possible as it made its way towards the Songbirds.

At the same time, Howard’s right sword released another massive wave of air pressure, except this one was in the shape of a square one hundred meters in length and width. This wave was a bit different from the spiral one utilized by Howard’s left arm as this square of air pressure was actually thousands of slicing wind blades that would slice apart any known material with ease. Anyone hit by this attack would have their entire body and all of the belongings completely sliced to tiny bits, leaving almost nothing remaining. While the two abilities happened simultaneously, they did not cancel each other out but rather fused together in some sort of spiraling calamity. The combined force of the two abilities would completely level the buildings below and reduce anyone caught within their ranges to dust. Howard had no qualms with utilizing this method of mass destruction because all civilian presence had been erased from the scene long ago by the evil frog man Jerome. There were no civilians for a whole kilometer, having been evacuated long ago and leaving Howard to kill with impunity. As these attacks had enough of a range that they could injure the user, Howard had utilized Geppo to place himself sixty meters above the building line, placing him well out of range of his own abilities. He had of course launched the abilities before utilizing Geppo as his speed was fast enough to do so.

Throughout the utilization of these two abilities, Howard had his hawk eyes and sixth sense activated and trained on anything that could be a threat to him. He would still utilize these abilities even if he were not able to begin his previously mentioned attacks. Throughout all of his actions, Howard was prepared to stop whatever he was doing and react to an incoming threat or something that he deemed necessary to deal with. Howard's attacks had taken full effect just before his cry of rage began. Of course, Howard was not the only individual here with a bone to pick with the Songbird. His two rear admirals were also livid at the prospect of so many innocent lives being lost and they knew that they had to help out as best they could as well.

Each of the rear admirals had approached from either the east or the west. Aoi had approached from the east and after arriving about one hundred and ten meters away from the songbirds, she utilized her own air pressure ability in which she created a large wall of air pressure that contained hundreds of slicing wind blades. This attack was nowhere near as strong as Howards of course, but it still was around thirty meters tall and twenty meters wide, allowing for it to span the entire width of the street as it traveled forward towards the Songbirds. Anyone hit by this ability would take severe injuries that would result in the loss of limbs or life if hit in vital areas. This attack would arrive one second after Howard’s attacks had taken full effect.

As Sansun had approached from the west, he also utilized his own move so as to put this threat down for good. Sansun stood one hundred and ten meters away from the Songbirds as well, leaving him out of the range of Howard’s attacks. He swung his axe at the fastest speed he could muster and sent forth a massive slice of air pressure forty meters in diameter towards the Songbirds. The attack would also reach them about a second after Howard’s attack had taken full effect. The two rear admirals were also utilizing their kenbunshoku haki to the greatest degree they could, making sure to be ready for any attacks that might come towards them. Every attack utilized by both the rear admirals and by Howard did not damage themselves or each other in any way, with the two rear admiral’s attacks causing a large causing a large explosion when colliding with one another, sending scattered wind blades all around, causing even more damage.

Howard truly hoped that this barrage of attacks would wipe out the Songbirds and put an end to their reign of terror. He wished for these seas to be a place free from the scourge of pirates like Jerome. Knowing how powerful they were however, he was not expecting these blows to be capable of killing them and thus he was ready to continue fighting these evil bastards if he needed to. After utilizing his techniques he stayed above in the sky while utilizing geppo and surveying the area beneath him and surveying his entire surroundings with his kenbunshoku haki. Any unrecognizable but powerful entity that entered within a one kilometer range of Howard would be instantly recognized as a possible threat and prepared for by Howard. Just as Junbei had predicted, a massive surge of hundreds of marines was approaching the area from the east and west, preparing to do combat against the Songbirds, should they be alive that is.

Tears still fell from Howard’s face as he imagined all the lives cut short by these heartless animals, and made an even stronger vow in his heart to destroy all evildoers that he comes across, so as to make the world a better place. This crying did not negatively affect Howard’s combat abilities, but instead made him more resolute in his actions and decision making. Howard prepared himself to intercept any attempts at escape by the Songbirds.

Fishman Island : ONES TRUE SELF! ENTER THE DRAGON! FwHAqll

Maybe it was the sins of his own birth that brought death to all of those around him? Abandoned by his own mother due to his cursed blood, maybe his existence itself was the very music they feared, and it’s composition, his life, gave creation to a melody so filled with buoyancy and gusto, that death herself came to listen in to the Birde’s Tune. In monitoring the movements of the fleeing Celestial, Junbei’s Kenbunshoku had already been stretched 1km in all directions the entire time from his moving off towards Jerome from his prior position diagonal from Candy Factory, with his Radar clocking in a whopping one hundred fifty meter range behind (outward and upwards) it, meaning, if a bee’s buzzing was to merely cease even 400 feet above the ground, that subtle of a sound, he’d be able to know. As his mind was overloaded with many thoughts, sounds and images from activating his Kenbunshoku and Radar meshing at his level of mastery. He’d admit, the reunion with Jerome had made him emotional, unbeknownst to anyone present, it was a gratification that his existence was worth something, he’d been needed not only as a Captain but as a person, yet, this obligation to his Selfishness, didn’t erase an every lying trait that was systemically sewed in Junbei’s heart, Paranoia.

Every now again, human’s would often make rash and subsequently emotional, no, more so irrational decisions due to their own personal moral codes being broken. Was it out of duty, no, it was the same desire he’d bared in seeing Jerome again, selfishness. At the brim of his 1km scope, as stated prior, forces approached from the East and West, however, one in particular stood out more than any other, it was the rage of gloom stricken man, and his path was that Northern Bound, and incoming. However, the nature of Kenbunshoku didn’t overflow his mind of the incoming enemies, adding stress. No actually, his training to feel nothing from Derous played it’s most integral role at times like these. Junbei remained calm because as showcased earlier, it was just marines approaching correct? The hatred they’d feel was simply because of his name or rank, anything else was oblivious or irrelevant to him. As perspective usually shaped the opinions of bandwagoners and fools alike. As the marines central pillars in this raid moved closer and closer, these three Knights moving along the Shogi board much faster than the pawns in their arsenal, but again, one Knight seemed much eager than the others.

However, this Knight was moving at a readily pace, and had it not been for his Kenbunshoku Haki, he would’ve barely been able to follow him with his eyes (if he was looking at him), as his senses were fairly sharp as is but his Kenbunshoku allowed Junbei to feel his every advancement forward. Nonetheless, the Knight travelling by foot towards the location, shifting through the pipeline Street leading to their position, continued on. Junbei had just begun to attempt to free the first of the slaves, by removing their collars but no action as such had occurred yet. From the odd some two hundred and so meters away, again, the eager Knight, bloodlust in all, scaled a fifty meter building to the North, which would’ve been to the back of Junbei, ten meters away. As, only black magic would’ve teleported the man from running on foot, to the top of the building, maybe some skill allowed him, but since he was moving at around Tier 5 speeds, it was hard to tell what possessed anyone, to move with the same swiftness of any of Junbei’s own skills(V - Five), that of sound. If a dying bee’s wings stopping flapping could’ve been heard, anything moving with that speed would’ve surely be something to be feared, regardless of reunions or bonds, because above all else, Paranoia, crept into the Yonko’s heart long before this incident and rear it’s ugly head, bringing notice of the man’s position and intent to his attention.

After being liberated from his strings recently of holding back, he’d assure his crew was capable of handling themselves. Idle thoughts, the Northern Knight now stood at the top of the building, swords in hand, bloodlust to the highest degree. Howard now at the top of this fifty meter building, Junbei’s position had shifted slightly prior to the Admiral's arrival, two meters backwards to the North to attempting to save the first of the slaves from the collars. Meaning, only eight meters separated himself and the Howard at this point, whom Junbei's eyes would now lay upon, aside from the height difference of about fifty meters from the ground, plus the height of the 9’3ft man, but indeed, he’d still be situated in the centre of the street way, in terms of symmetrical lining of the building’s foundation’s centre, to his centre in the street. The Devil would be in the details but the exact moment, the Admiral motioned his blades for an attack, Junbei could hear the sound of the muscles, vessels and bones in his body churning, as the Admiral’s intent itched for a sacrifice and the beginnings of a screech or shout would surface. A familiar sound Junbei heard from the screeches of victims who’d lost their hearing or bellowed in rage from the past, it was a obscure sound, the moment when air enters into the lungs, he’d been so accustomed to be hearing just naturally by now.

Was it the woman who’d committed suicide moments earlier, or the followers of the Celestial Dragon who perished? Honestly, Junbei didn’t care. Life always deals people sour deals, and that was a reality. A reality the Northern Knight was about to suffer. For at the very moment the man lifted his blades to the heavens, no matter how slight of a timing interval, two things would happen, in time with Junbei touching the slave’s collar. Entering into his natural intangible state, much like a reflex, a blink or a breath, he’d turn his body completely invisible, becoming the rawest form of his element which was sound. He’d move like sound against his radar's echograph, and within moments of a moment, he’d fade completely off anyone’s ‘radar’.  Funnelling outwards through the medium of air, in an inconspicuous direction away from the generic initial route of the Admiral’s possible attack in arc motion. His body would reform, at this point, the deed of Junbei’s attack, would’ve had already commenced, and more importantly, the man’s screech and attack. For the man’s screech could be the last noises the Admiral uttered into this world, and subsequently, any actions after, excluding the man, would occur.

The Devil was in the details, and literally this Sound Demon waited for the man’s screech to echo and his attack to reign, now freed by his intangibility, reforming on the ceiling behind the man, well in scope of his Radar. The ceilings top was around, fourteen meters in size, the Northern Knight, now recognisable as the Admiral, standing at his peak facing south towards the street from his North Position. The distance between the two was around twelve meters, and instantly, the bulk of his body would reform. Remember, the Devil is in the details, two things had happened the moment Junbei had went intangible, aside from his reformation on the ceiling, he’d began release very odd sound-waves, each with a resonating amplifying effect, spanning over fifty diameters in all directions. With the natural ability to continuously move with his sound, all effects of the waves produced upon his motion came with him. Meshed in with in his resurging body, were these soundwaves which expanding instantaneously to his reformation, which happened gradually, to accommodate any change in the Admiral’s movements. By this point, the man was at the 'YOU’, in his loud exclamation. And, like he said, they’d all heard it. It was then, the odd waves took effect. By the time the man finished his statement, 'BA-STARDS' the last two syllables had been amplified with enough force to disintegrate the man’s voice box, actually at this force of skill (Tier 5 Str), i’d be strong enough to disintegrate several components of the throat internally, causing the Admiral to potentially choke on his own blood. All he needed to do was finish two key sentiments, two syllables of the last word in his statement, which he’d already committed to screaming. As stated, the Devil is in the details, the Rear Admirals attack would continue, but what of the fate of the Admrial himself. If unsuccessful, Junbei would still evade by entering into his intangible state and reforming on the ceiling, however, he’d keep monitoring all positions with his Haki for any movements that flowed against his plans, activating his Aura Sight, keeping another plan at bay in his mind. Regardless, any slight movements, such as blasting off the ceiling or swinging around would be amplified with enough force to deafen anyone within Fifty Diameters. Everything under the bird’s ‘eye’ would be amplified to death strokes, to everyone but Junbei that is.

Truly not all of the Songbird’s were in the Epicentre, as stated prior, Nico was on the second floor of the Candy Factory to the North. He had already sensed the Rear Admirals incoming by the One Hundred and Eight Meter Mark, his weapon was primed on his shoulder, Nico attached his Breath Dial, clutching the Burn Bazooka, two factories down from the Songbird’s position, he’d lean out the window, aiming his Bazooka at Aio’s to be position at One Hundred and Eighty Two Feet to the East, in a matter of seconds, four inches before she’d reach the point, he’d attempt to fire off a Bazooka Shot, moving at Tier 4 speeds to intercept her route, with his natural skill as a Marskman, a shot like this was slight work, as the distance between them would clock out at 235 Meters of the road, so as she inched closer, the eighty five meter explosion, if successful would harper the forces coming from the East even momentarily. Regardless, Nico would switch to the next side, to the West, aiming to wipe out the forces with another shot, this time aiming at the Hundred Forty-Eight Meter mark, moments before Sansun arrived to release his attack. At best, both attacks would fire at the same time, but with no ideals on the Strength of Sansun’s attack, they’d either cancel out or crash at the same time, depending on Sansun’s build. Either way, Nico prepare for the impact of strip being wrecked after fulfilling his mission, for the Admiral's attack would occur.

Fishman Island : ONES TRUE SELF! ENTER THE DRAGON! Tumblr_nj62fvwehR1rcxbkyo6_500
Though it seemed to have only been Ivette, and 30 cyborg mecha's whom had perished within the death winks radius, it would seem that perhaps more had perished, it was awkward to say the least that neither the songbirds, the civilians around them, nor Ivette took mention of such horrific events. If anything it would have been slaves that would have perished not the civilians and the only mentioned child whom had been saved by Jerome. Yet alas, it seemed that apparently civilians where spawned in such a large magnitude that the assault of Jerome had caused such severe blood shed. Yet they seemed not to notice. Thankfully he had alas doomed more than he had supposedly killed. With the large amount of civilians he had warned to run, leaving only those slaves whom where terrified of their bomb collar's going off.

So apparently there was also distraught survivors and gun shots that all happened that the songbirds also deemed fit to ignore in favour of their big reunion. A rather strange day taking an even stranger twist, was it perhaps all illusions. Something the celestial dragons and marines had cooked up? did someone seemingly have that power? to make them go against even their basic instincts, to hide civilians and such blood shed form their eyes only to allow the marines to see it while the songbirds could not? it seemed that way, such carnage seemed like it would be too big to ignore yet somehow through all this they managed.

Jerome or now in his frog form The Frog, like his captain also had his haki still remaining, though it was not until Howard and his large group of marines stepped in to the seven hundred and fifty mark did Jerome detect them. His haki range being smaller than their own. "You sense that power?" Jerome said as he turned to the remaining slaves who for some reason seemed unafraid of them even after the carnage that had went on. This power was not from the advancing marine troops, not the large army anyway, no. This was from Howard himself and stated as soon as he had entered the 750 meter range of Jeromes haki. "I'd get out of here if i where you" He said to the slaves, whether they listened only time would tell. One of the aura's, the strongest out of them all was moving much faster than the others. Though judging by the others movements, they where attempting to box the songbirds in. Separating here would have been a good plan, but it was obvious that the one moving closer to their location, with the highest level of power was none other than Admiral Howard. The admiral whom had appeared publicly upon Fishman Island during the songbirds saving it, another reason as to why such a gory demise of people seemed out of place for the group of pirates.

Alas time was not on their side, and even before Howard spoke, the amphibian was looking right at him, seconds after he appeared. He looked so distraught, though given that he was one of the members of the marine core who allowed celestials to do whatever they want, such an act was un-needed in front of the pirates. Over the initial shock, Howards mouth began to form words, but the Amphibian was already moving, he was not willing to allow his allies to die, now again. Junbei had already vanished, with only Octavia in the area with the Frog he would protect her just like he had in atlantis. Quickly he grasped onto her, pulling her body into his, as if the amphibian had already given up. He sensed the attacks, the first attacks that where released where from the duo that where at least one hundred or so meters from them. Having been released just prior to the frog grasping Octavia. "Hold on" He said as Howard lifted his sword ready to release his own attack. As Howards hands lifted up, both eyes of the frog closed. Within that moment, all hell broke loose.

A power so strong erupted with a diameter of one hundred meters, expanding upwards as well as outwards easily dwarfing the buildings themselves and thus at the same time easily reaching Howard. With octavia safely nestled into his body as much as she could be, neither the frog nor her would succumb to damage from this attack. Not only was the size somewhat massive, the speed was far superior to both Howards own as well as the assault from the duo from either side. Now he knew Laz could survive this, and hopefully Nico could take care of himself, given the duo of attacks that had been sent. Alas, this enormous and exhausting attack with such severe speeds that it would seem no one could keep up with would hopefully reach Howard prior to being able to release his own attack while at the same time completely decimating the building he was on removing his foot hold to be able to accurately aim. While simultaneously defending and halting the two attacks from each side. With haki remaining active, the frog would still be able to follow each action, to futher his defence his entire body took on a familiar black form.

"It's far too sunny..."

Eleanor muttered these words lowly to herself in a monotone voice as she continued to walk down one of the small, horribly paved streets of one of Fishman Island's districts. Though the brightness of the day was no different than any other day on the high seas, the happiness that it would have usually evoked was but an illusion at this point - especially when coupled with the fact that she was truly here to protect such a comparatively "dark" person. Nora wouldn't have usually been dispatched by the World Government if today had been a normal day. Protecting the Celestial Dragon that had decided to pay a visit to the island was one of their primary objectives, even though it wasn't the main reason that so many Marines had been deployed to occupy the island. After the defeat of Oceanus' forces on the island, the Marines had once again made their move to retake the island. They were to make sure that no funny business occurred, however, it was highly unlikely that anyone would be foolish enough to actually attempt anything.

It seemed as though she'd been walking for hours, but in reality it couldn't have been that long at all. She chalked this loss of time up to the fact that her mind was simply too preoccupied with thinking about with how much she hated her current assignment - any amount of time spent protecting those as horrible as the Celestial Dragons was far more than they deserved. After taking in a deep breath, Nora began to exhale slowly; this action allowing her to clear her mind of all the negative emotions that were beginning to well up within her, while also allowing her to calm her emotions.  She began to bolster not only her resolve, but also the strength of her existence and that of which existed around her. Even though she detested her current assignment, she had to remind herself that all of this would be worth it in the end. Despite how she personally felt about the matter, this was her life until she could fulfill her true objectives. With these thoughts in mind, Nora began to pick up her pace as she continued on through the district.

Soon enough, Nora found herself making a left turn onto a street that seemed to be much cleaner than that of the streets she had previously traveled along. The entirety of the civilian districts of Fishman Island were constructed in a manner in which each street was twenty meters in width north to south, and three hundred meters east to west, with each end of the eastern and western sides having a T split road going north and south. Traveling by use of roads going north to south would allow you to make a left or right turn onto an east to west directed street for every fifty meters that you traveled along a north to south directed road. Roads that traveled north to south were also uniformly twenty meters in width. Each building held a uniform height of around fifty meters as well. The longer that she continued to walk, the more a familiar friend known as "Hunger" continued to nag at her. While she needed to be vigilant in her patrol of the island, she couldn't rightly do so while being distracted in such a manner.

Deciding that it was for the best that she find herself something to eat, Nora continued to make her way westward down the street. Before having traveled too far down the street, she began to notice that small shops and stand were beginning to spring up here and there. Even though this would have normally been an indication that this section of the street was usually busy, today it appeared to be largely empty - save for a few shopkeepers that decided to stick around. Nora could only assume that the reasoning behind such a large absence of civilians was a result of the Celestial Dragon's visit to the island. Families shutting themselves inside of their homes made complete sense when thinking about how ruthless and unpredictable these entitled Nobles could be. Before she could think more on the matter, the growl of her stomach reminded her of a more pressing issue. Making yet another left turn off of the street and into a building, Nora made her way inside of a restaurant she had spotted while eyeing the shops ahead. She wasn't completely acquainted with the sorts of cuisine they concocted here on this island, however, she knew eating something here was better than starving to death.

Upon quickly finishing her meal of prawn soup and paying the waitress, Nora made her exit from the restaurant and back out onto the street. While eating she had noted that two individuals had entered within range of her perception, and now was as good a time as any to investigate. As her body slightly turned to the left, her eyes noted two individuals that weren't present before she'd made her way into the restaurant. These two individuals were roughly sixteen to seventeen meters across the street and to the left of her current position. Though their backs faced her, she was able to note that they appeared to be doing business with a Mermaid that ran one of the stands she'd spotted earlier. A slight smirk crossed her lips as she examined the two individual. One of them was cloaked, leaving his identity a mystery, while the other hadn't been wise enough to conceal his identity. Alaric D. Ryotoji was his name, and though Nora was only able observe him from behind, it was hard to mistake someone with such a noteworthy bounty - he was practically famous and would be known by anyone in the area. If anyone were to hypothetically pose a threat to the well-being of a Celestial Dragon, it would be a pirate such as this one.

The pair both purchased sake, with the cloaked individual buying one of the largest bottles that Nora had ever laid eyes on. The man (as she could only assume from his build), without turning around, began to strap the bottle to his back. As this occurred, Alaric took hold of his own sake bottle and promptly placed it to his lips. In the moment that this occurred, Nora simultaneously went into action as she made use of an ability granted to her by her devil fruit. The bottle that was once Alaric's dear friend would now be regarded as an enemy that could never be trusted again. Half a ton of pressure would be applied to forcefully push the bottle deep into the orifice known as Alaric D. Ryotoji's mouth. The speed in which this attack would occur would likely be far too quick for Alaric to comprehend. The pain caused by such a thick glass bottle forcing its way into his mouth, dislocating his jaw, breaking teeth, rending flesh as parts of the glass bottle began to shatter, and alcohol stinging as such deep lacerations formed would likely limit his ability to think rationally. With such extreme pressure being applied, the neck of the bottle would almost likely firmly lodge itself within his throat and proceed to suffocate him.

All of these results would simply be hypothetical depending on if Nora's attack panned out the way she envisioned, however, there wasn't much that impeded the logic behind her attack. There wasn't much of a way for him to be able to react to something that occurred oh so suddenly, while there also wasn't much of a way for someone else to impede the actions that Nora had made. Yet, if Zanji were able to evade the fate that had been laid out for him, Nora would be more than ready to address the actions and reactions of her would-be foes.
