After speaking with the strange man Marlo set off deeper into the forest towards the direction of the giant tree. He would then hear an incredible wail that would sound as if it were a battlecry from a demigod, “How terrifying, that shriek has to be the cause of the disturbance here. Now, it’s time to see what’s behind it.” Marlo began to sprint closing the distance between him and the warcry, just as he entered the forest clearing where the village of Torino Kingdom would be, in his way was a giant purple blur that would pass him without being able to recognize and translate what he just saw to his mind. After a few seconds or being dazzled Marlo would snap out of his trance to see two natives in front him with spears. They were extremely chubby, but had muscular arms that looked as though they could thrust the spear pretty hard, behind them was a beautiful village with huts that were made out of refined sticks and straw. People began to come out of their houses as one of the native blew a horn in the air, “This must be some type of alarm, I might be in trouble if they all decide to gang up on me.” Marlo wanted to grab his katanas, but didn’t want to show any hostility so he put his hands in the air to signal a surrender. “Um, hello I’m here to help you guys so how about you take me to your king?” Marlo would say in a calm tone. “Ug ok umebe lokiu aqa” The natives would say to each other.
They walked up to him grabbing him by his arms and locking them behind his back while ushering him to some cage that was made out of what looked to be bamboo.
I guess they knew not what swords were so they did not strip him of his weapons, all he needed was a gameplan on how to get out and convey his thoughts to them.
