"667....668....669...670...."

Jackson's breathing was becoming increasingly labored the longer he trained within the dojo; the push-ups he'd been doing to increase his strength putting a larger toll on him then he'd initially figured they would. Ever since Master Seifu's suggestion that Jackson work on increasing his physical strength, Jackson had been doing all that he could to increase his overall strength. He realized due to his fighting style that he'd put too much emphasis on speed - even though his fighting style was one in which strength should have been the real emphasis. Attempting to increase his speed wasn't something he should stop doing, but if his strength wasn't on par with his speed then his speed increase would have been in vain. be able to take down foes that could match his speed. Due to his lowered stamina as a Fishman hybrid, he wouldn't be able to fight for too long simply relying on speed. He needed to increase the weapons he had in his arsenal, and strength was something he'd need. To reach that upper level your mind, body and soul must be one. It's a sacrifice; it takes hard work, it's a way of life - and if he wanted to reach that upper echelon he had to be willing to put all the work that he could into his training.

At the moment, Jackson happened to be the only one currently in the dojo. Many of the other students seemed to have other business to attend to recently, and Master Seifu had finally set out on a well deserved vacation on another island somewhere in the South Blue. Many of the other students took this as an opportunity to get some rest, but Jackson knew if he did that he'd simply cause himself to lag behind. Rest wasn't something he needed. Right now his entire life was dedicated to moving forward with his ambitions.

All of his thoughts fell back onto his training once he thought more about his ambition. He knew that if any of his dreams were to finally come to fruition, he had to be strong enough to make this dreams more than just figments of the imagination. In order to change the world, power was needed, and if his goal was to ascend the ranks within the Revolutionary army faster than his father could he needed to reach this power quickly.

With all of this going through Jackson's head, he had yet to notice that another person had entered the dojo. It wasn't until the guest spoke out that Jackson finally realized he wasn't alone during his training.

"I thought there would be more of you here...I guess you'll have to do..."

With those words breaking Jackson's concentration, he slowly stood in order to face the stranger. The man that stood in front of him had hair that gave off the impression that he was a wild beast - and his clothing made it seem that he'd just come out of an 80's martial arts movie (whatever that meant). Before Jackson could say anything or even ask why the man was present in this dojo, the male quickly darted forward with his hand raised in an attacking position. It seemed that this man had an agenda that Jackson wasn't exactly privy to, but it involved this dojo and thus Jackson needed to act as well.

Jumping backwards, Jackson put about a meters worth of space between the two at the last second, causing the male to swipe air, yet, it didn't appear that this had been the last of the male's attack. After the swipe, a gust of sharp wind breezed by Jackson, cutting his shoulder. Wincing, Jackson grabbed his left shoulder and noticed that the male's hands were now glowing with a dark crimson color.

Whoever this man was, he was a lot stronger than Jackson had initially given him credit for. He'd never seen someone who had the ability to make use of vacuum slicing without making use of a weapon. It was an obvious indication that taking strikes from any of this man's limbs would cause damage akin to being struck by a blade. A dangerous foe indeed.

"Who are you?"

It was a simple question, yet, it seemed to spark rage in the man, causing him to go on the attack once again. Deciding not to underestimate this man any further, Jackson decided to go on the offensive as well - being that he was never one to simply cower in the face of adversity. If this man could use vacuum slicing, then Jackson figured he'd do the same...well, sort of the same. He hoped that maybe by use of his Fishman Karate techniques he'd be able to cancel out these vacuum slices by making use of waves in the air. Once within range of the man, Jackson quickly prepared himself to strike towards the man's direction at the same time that the male had done the same once again. Yet, before any of these techniques could clash, they were both stopped fully by Mr. Lee. Jackson found himself bewildered, and so did the uninvited guest. Jackson had never seen Mr. Lee take up arms against anyone - or even training within the dojo, for that matter, but to see that he was fully capable of negating both attacks meant he was far more skilled in martial arts than Jackson had ever given him credit for. It was plainly obvious that Mr. Lee was far more than a simple groundskeeper.

However, before Jackson could express his thoughts through dialogue, Mr. Lee began to speak in his direction.

"Jackson, Master Seifu has finally decided that you're ready to be trained directly, yet, there's one more trial that you must complete before doing so. You must travel through the Blues and defeat the masters of three other dojo's."

After saying this, Mr. Lee then began to inform Jackson of the name of these masters, as well as their general locations in each Blue.

"Now, go. Your quest will take a while, so the faster you leave the sooner you can return...and don't worry about our guest. I'll take care of him."

With a smile in Mr. Lee's direction, Jackson quickly nodded before running out of the dojo. His destination was now the ocean, and since he'd only arrived to this place with the clothes on his back and the gloves he carried on him, he had no reason to pack anything. He was finally being recognized by Master Seifu, and if this was the last trial he needed to put himself through to get one step closer to his goals then he had no time to waste.
