With his stance upheld, Jackson's eyes began to scan Master Roshi's intimidating fram. His intent was to find a weakness somewhere on the man and attempt to exploit it, but just like before, he wasn't able to see anything that would help him cause damage on this man externally. The only way he'd likely come out victorious is if he was able to attack this man internally, causing damage and halting his brutish fighting style. Jackson wasn't exactly sure if this would make a difference or not, but at this point he didn't exactly have any other options.
Master Roshi appeared to be aware that something was a bit different now when it came to Jackson's demeanor. When someone doesn't have a plan or something up their sleeve, they're usually a bit more desperate - and Jackson wasn't giving off that air at all. Roshi was still confident with the what the outcome of this fight would be, so he didn't exactly feel as though anything Jackson could make use of at this point would matter, but he found himself being a bit more cautious.
Soon enough, Master Seifu's potential apprentice began to dash towards Master Roshi's position - attempting to reach his maximum speed in the short distance between himself and his opponent. Once within range, Jackson punched forward and made use of his Hyakumaigawara Seiken technique and found himself shocked when the target in question opted to step backwards slightly in an attempt to evade the blow. Through the entirety of their fight with one another, Roshi had always opted to take Jackson's attacks head on. For him to evade...did he somehow know what Jackson's intent was? Or had he simply evaded out of sport? Either way, it was lucky for Jackson that he hadn't opted to jump to the left or right of the blow and evade the entirety of his attack. With Roshi still in position in front of Jackson's fist, he was still in range of the waves that would proceed his strike. The effects weren't immediate, but once a Jackson noticed Roshi's wince of pain and the dribble of blood from his mouth that followed, he finally knew he was onto something. With Roshi's Jio Ken, it seemed that physically, on an external level, he was immune to any damage that could be done - but that wasn't true internally. No matter how hard someone trains, they can never strengthen their organs to withstand the type of damage that skin, muscle, and bone can.
Attempting to follow up on his earlier strike, Jackson stepped forward with an open palmed strike only to have this move evaded by the old man. He'd been able to read the range of the attack from a single instance. The longer this fight continued the more Jackson began to realize why exactly this man was deemed a "Master" the same as Seifu. Skills like his weren't simply taught and learned, but honed over decades and decades of battle.
While in amazement of his opponent, Jackson began to slip up in the basics. This in turn caused him to lose track of one of Roshi's feints as the old man moved forward with an offensive of his own. The blow to the head caught Jackson by surprise as Roshi's fist impacted the left side of his face, yet, in the midst of taking this damage Jackson knew he couldn't exactly pass up an opportunity with Roshi being within his range. Before the momentum of Roshi's attack could send Jackson rocketing off, he began to force his lower body to rotate with as much force as possible before making use of his Kachiage Haisoku technique - sending a crushing roundhouse kick into Roshi's midsection. He could feel Roshi's body giving way under the pressure of his kick as well as the waves reverberating inside of him causing immense damage.
Soon enough, the momentum of both attacks took their toll and sent both Roshi and Jackson flying in opposite directions, both of them crashing into the walls opposite of each other. With the damage that Jackson had sustained to the head, he could almost tell instantly that he'd sustained a concussion; the urge to throw up right then and there was all too prevalent, but he'd still managed to sustain what was left of his consciousness. As he looked across the dojo in Roshi's direction, it seemed the same couldn't be said for the old man. Master Roshi had reverted back to the fail form he'd had when he first met the old man. His Jio Ken transformation had come and gone, and the old man could be heard snoring. Jackson once again found himself amazed that a man of such advanced age could take so much damage and still survive. Even though he'd won today's match, he still didn't exactly feel as though it was a victory. Had Roshi taken him seriously throughout the entirety of the fight instead of testing him, Jackson knew for sure he'd be the one snoring right now. This battle was something that simply proved to the young man that he needed to grow stronger if he was going to survive in both the Grand Line and the New World. At his current level, death was assured.
