Another day in Illusia. The heat from her earlier adventures had finally died down, enough for Linnea to risk another venture. This was easily one of the few - if not the only - island she could feel somewhat at home, the Marines' presence on this island was much too strong. Despite her usual sympathy for the Revolutionary army, Linnea wasn't happy to find these men were more worried about killing Marines than Protecting the Innocent people, like most Rev's worthy of her respect. Seeing that made her incredibly glad to have founded her own crew instead of joining up under someone else's banner... With a crew of no more than 15 people, she knew each and every one of her crewmates and respected each of their individual drives. She wandered aimlessly through the least frequented parts of the market, stopping when her keen eyes noticed something unusual: A Merchant selling what should be a rather enticing piece of merchandise...
"What's up with that?", she wondered, looking on and crossing her arms
A treasure map huh...? Why was he selling it for so cheap? More importantly, why were others not buying it?! With all of this, no matter what angle Lin chose to look at this whole scene, only one thought held firmly in her mind, "It's a scam.", she thought. Yet Linnea still couldnt shake the possibility that it wasn't... The perpetually adventurous curiosity that drove her screamed to see that for herself. Fortunately for her, she had just the way to pull that off. Using her Kenbunshoku Haki, she examined the seemingly excited merchant to find him frantic, frustrated and disappointed. This map was the real thing; he hadn't forget it! But how would he get people to believe him?
Thus when Linnea approached him and displayed interest in the map, he was all to eager to hand it over to her for a fairly low price considering what she was buying...
