A gentle melody hung in the air over the Noble Justice, freshly repaired and ready to sail. Sitting on one of the railings, the marine commodore Anton La'croix calmly played his violin. It was good to play it again after all the stress he had to deal with over the past few days. Not just the harrowing experience with Melissa, but reconstructing the whole marine set up here on Yotsuba Island. The turn out for recruits was surprising to say the very least, and only now had the replacement captain arrived to take over. A decent man, good record and good recommendation the higher ups. After meeting him personally, Anton was convinced that he would protect the island justly and fairly, unlike that weasel Captain Varon.
And with the matter finally settled, it was time for them to move on. While Anton was definitely happy with the changes happening to the island, he was still a marine, and there was never an end to the jobs he had to do, especially at his rank. He and his men were preparing to set sail, to leave the island. He figured a little music would help lighten the mood a bit. As he played, Commander Celia Stanson approached him, standing before him for a brief moment before clearing her throat. The music came to a stop as Anton opened his eyes, realizing she was there.
"Ah, commander," Anton smiled, "Is everything going well?" The petite woman smiled and nodded, "Indeed sir. We're all ready to go sir." Anton nodded before his smile faded slightly, "And Ryujii? Have you been able to find him?" Celia's expression fell as she shook her head. "There has been absolutely no sign of him sir." "Oh," Anton looked down sadly. Despite the day turning out better than he had hoped, one of the things he regretted about that day was what happened to Ryujii. The young man had been blasted off of his ship by Melissa, and now there was no sign of him. He could only hope he was alright. "Sir," Celia spoke up, "I know how you feel, but we can't wait any longer. We have orders to head to the North Blue. We're going to be meeting someone who is to be assigned to this ship." Anton nodded. He knew his orders. It just felt bad to leave someone behind. "Very well. We cast off in a few minutes. Have everyone get ready."
Celia nodded and walked away to inform the men. Anton stood up and calmly headed to the front of the ship, looking out onto the sea. The North Blue. This would be the third blue he would sail in. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. He never thought he would ever leave his home in the East, let alone be travelling around all four blues. After a few minutes, he felt the ship rock lightly in the waves as the sails came up, and the ship slowly began to depart from the port. Their voyage to the North Blue had begun.
