It's gonna be a fight tonight!



Oh, what a blue it is. West blue! It seems this is the place Ryujii should go. It was certain that he would find something to do here. Maybe a job? He didn't know yet. But walking along the docks and gazing at the sea wasn't going to help him. Ryujii turned around to look at the town. He might of been here before. He doesn't remember all too much. But he does know of this place. Yotsuba Isand.... Something special is to happen here, it is only a matter of time. While Ryujii didn't want it to center around him, he didn't care if it did.

Ryujii's long green hair flowed in the wind. A few people gazed. Proably thought that it was dyed. But, this was Ryujii real hair. As odd as it seems. His mother had the same hair color. The green haired lad didn't know of his father, but that didn't matter now. He wasn't really worth chasing now was he? In any case, that was a talk with himself for another day. Ryujii isn't crazy right? Right? 

In some cases, being this bored would lead to crime. Or eating too much. But Ryujii just wandered through the town chatting and playing games with Marines. These guys knew somewhat where to go and where to have fun. Maybe Ryujii could meet a top Marine guy and chat with him. See where the fun is at?

As Anton was still aboard the Noble Justice, preparing for the incoming battle with Melissa, Celia Stanson had taken the opportunity to go and explore the town for herself. Something about this place seemed, well, off to her. While there was that sense of tension in the air, it wasn't nearly as bad as it should with a powerful pirate on her way to commit murder. Not to mention the townspeople, those that hadn't been evacuated yet, still seemed rather calm and scornful towards her. What was going on here? This town was under the protection of the marines. Shouldn't they be happier?

She soon spotted a group of them, playing some sort of dice game with a young man with green hair. Celia's eyes narrowed. Weren't they supposed to be evacuating civilians and preparing defenses? The short woman strode up to the group, clearing her throat to get their attention. "Don't you all have your orders?" she spoke in a sharp tone. The men turned and looked up at her, with a non caring smile on their faces. [b]"Hey, they don't want to go, so we can't make them, right? Besides, the commodore's got this handled."[/color] Celia's eye twitched. How arrogant of them! Just because Anton was here didn't mean they could slack off! "Now you all listen!" she snapped, "Your orders were to evacuate this town! With what's about to hit, we can't have any civilians getting hurt, you understand me? Now get back to work!" Her snapping had done just that, getting the marines off of their asses and getting back to their work with irritated groans. What was wrong with the marines here?

Soon, it was just her, and the green haired young man.

Awwwww. Why did the little marine lady have to stop their game. It wasn't bothering anyone and there didn't seem to be and criminal activity going on in the area, so why did she do that? Did she get angry that she wasn't invited to join the game? Or does she generally have a bad taste for games? Well it didn't matter now. She said something about evacuating and something is going to hit. This intrigued Ryujii so he decided to ask a few questions to what seemed to be a some-what high ranking officer.

"Uh, hello there. I come in peace" Ryujii said making the V shape thing with his hands. "May I ask, what is coming? I may be of some help."Ryujii saying this while spinning his Bo Staff rapidly. Fast enough to start a little breeze and blow his hair, maybe hers as well. Just a little show of strength.   

"Im not saying I will join the Marines, yet, but I do wanna see what they are like." Ryujii had a calm smile on his face, gazing into the little marine's eyes.

Celia looked at the strange haired youth, raising an eyebrow as he asked what was going on, and offering to help. He probably wasn't from around here if he didn't know what was going on. Letting him carry on in ignorance would be irresponsible. "A powerful and dangerous pirate is planning on attacking the island," she explained, "We're getting the civilians out of here to ensure their safety." She was about to tell him to do the same, but then thought better. If he wanted to help, why not? They could certainly use it. "If you want to help, I can take you to commodore La'croix. We can then decide how to go about this. If you will follow me,"

She began to lead the unusual young man towards the docks, where the Noble Justice was currently docked. She couldn't get much of a read on this young man. Was he just a traveller? Or maybe he was an associate of Melissa's. Or really, just some helpful young man. Well, if he tried anything, both she and the commodore could handle him. It wasn't long before the massive ship came into view.

Rubbing his chin Ryujii thought what type of pirate would be insane enough to attack a Marine filled island. Maybe he was bringing a fleet with him? Maybe he had a huge cannon to back him up? Maybe he had a special Devil Fruit of some kind? Looking up at the clouds Ryujii saw that there was a slight chance of rain. Maybe 40%?  They didn't look heavy enough to raise the percentage.  

It seems the small display of strength proved to be enough to convince the small lady. And he followed her to a giant ship, to a Commodore by the name, La'croix. Must be a last name. Titles like that always used the last name. But, it is a huge world so anything could happen.   

Taking matter into his own hands Ryujii would call out for the commodore, using all of the air in his lungs. "COMMOOOOOODOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

The young man's shout did not go unnoticed. As Celia spun around to reprimand him, the door to the main cabin opened, Anton La'croix poking his head out to see just what was going on. "Was someone calling me?" he asked, before his eyes fell on his second in command and the young man next to her. "Erm, Celia? Who's this?" Celia sighed. "Sorry sir. This young man was offering to help us out. I figured I would bring him to you so you can decide as what to do about it." 

Anton blinked. "Why did you bring him to me? Captain Varon's the head of the navel base here. Wouldn't it make sense to bring him to him? Celia shook her head. "You are the highest ranking officer here. I figured it would be best to bring him to you." What she didn't say was there was something about the marine stationed here that bothered her. So much so she would rather trust this young man to her superior here rather than the one in control. Anton nodded before stepping out onto deck, approaching them. "Pleased to meet you," Anton introduced himself, "I am Commodore Anton La'croix."

Seeing that his shout worked he watched as the two had a small conversation about him. He was glad that he was going to be used, but he also wondered how powerful this pirate was going to be.

After their little talk Ryujii got a good look at this guy once he came out and introduced himself. "Golly, you are one tall guy. Hold on" Jumping onto his Silver Bo Staff Ryujii was much taller than the Commodore now. He then crouched to get a better look at his face.    

A bit Feminie, but if used correctly he could be intimidating. Maybe add some facial hair. Some scars? But it was Anton's choice to do so. But him being a Commodore meant he has power to back it up right? Or did he do a bunch of paper work to get to his position? There are cases of this happening.

Well it didn't matter, "My name is Ryujii, Ryujii D. Harmonia" Figuratively Ryujii was just going to call the man Commodore but he guess adding Anton would be quite alright. "So whats first on the plate?"

Anton blinked as the young man introduced himself, standing atop his staff as he did so. Rather strange, since it forced Anton to crane his neck up to look at him. A strange fellow, but if he was willing to assist them, then by all means. "Well," Anton explained, "A pirate by the name of Melissa Devaroux is planning to attack the island. Well, to be more revise, she attacked the island, and is threatening to come back in several hours time. I know from first hand experience that this woman possesses a logia type devil fruit, a snow logia, and is very adept at using it."

"You know her sir?" Celia asked. Anton looked back and nodded, "We had a run in in the past. It did not end well." Anton didn't want to be reminded of his failure against her. He couldn't dwell on the past. Right now, he needed to defend his town from her. "I wont lie to you. This is going to be very dangerous. She's shown her desire to kill everyone here. Including us."

Hmmmmmm. Melissa Devaroux huh? It seems people around these parts have weird names. They kind of sound the same. And she is targeting this place again? So, she already beat the crap out of everyone here already huh? Must be why they are evacuating. It checks out, you would want to get as many civilians out of the area as possible. Backflipping off of his Bo Staff Ryujii would look back at the town again.

looking at it again, it is quite damaged. Also her being a logia is quite troublesome. Ryujii has heard that Logias can be quite the trouble, from their intangibility, to their element manipulation. While Ryujii hasn't seen or met a person with a logia, it is bound to happen sooner or later.

In any case, she has proven herself to be quite the adversary. Giving the Commodore troubles in the past. Ryujii would grab his cube and push all the buttons in. Awaiting that "shink" sound it makes. And to his surprise, all of the black blocks pointed out. Signaling that Ryujii should stay on the island he is on.

Intrigued by this result Ryujii decided to do just that. It would be dangerous but the rewards might be worth it. Who knows, Ryujii could get his hands on a devil fruit himself. Zoans has always fascinated him. "Well, Commdore, I am here to help. Seeing that this woman has been a problem before, have you set up any counter measures? Maybe some flame dials to melt her if she tries to go intangible?" 

(Ryujii likes to be the tallest person in the area. It puts him at ease :3)

Anton rose an eyebrow as the young man fiddled with that cube of his, watching his reaction to it before agreeing to help. What was that thing? Some sort of fortune telling device? Or just a little trinket he carried around. Either way, Anton wasn't going to bring it up. It would seem rude if he asked about it, and they young man would tell him in his own time...maybe.

When he asked about counter measures against Melissa, the commodore sighed, dejected. "I wish. I was actually pondering that when you arrived. I wasn't even aware it was Melissa attacking the island to I had gotten here, and we've got less than a day to prepare for her return. I have no idea what we're going to do about this. Her intangibility gives her a very strong advantage over us, even if she's grossly outnumbered." He looked around. He couldn't act this way in front of his men. As their superior, he had to put on a strong face, even if Anton felt like he was going to get crushed...again. He gave a small smile. "But I'm not giving up. We're marines, and it's our job to protect this island and it's people."

"I like your never die attitude Commodore" Rubbing his chin, Ryujii thought of ways to put the Snow Witch down. Either we use fire, or Seastone. "Commodore, you don't have Seastone, do you?"  Flame dials would work as well. But those are relatively easy to get. Seastone on the other hand, Ryujii doesn't know. They can't grab her and throw her into the sea, She would just turn intangible.

What to do, what do do? The only thing Ryujii can think of is to hit this lady with as many Flame dials as they can. But she can just escape if they do manage to capture her. We need Seastone cuffs. This is going to be problematic.

We are either going to have to kill her, or Seastone cuff her. Logias are really pain in the ass. They are too vertical. Which makes it easy for them to escape by just turning into their element.

(e.e Why is it so hard to find a way to beat Mel)

Melissa Versus Branch 153rd

Sitting upon the mass of the ship, the lady of snow would be watching the two converse, she had been floating by, avoiding marine after marine until she had heard the familiar voice, the marine whom had fought her some time ago, wow that felt like a life time. She wondered whether he had increased his capabilities. The man he was speaking to kept bringing up heat dials. It would seem that her name was being made through the use of her devil fruit. This of course was a blessing and a curse, this made people think all she had was her devil fruit yet she had her monstrous strength. Yet people would underestimate her physical power due to her devil fruit power

The one that intrigued Melissa was the female, she was new, she was strong, she was powerful. Melissa liked when strong women were shown, when they were given a chance to shine. This one had faith in the grasshopper. Melissa would give a soft smile. "He can't touch sea stone, it'll drain his power, won't it young grass hopper" Melissa would say, thus revealing her presence upon the mast. The yuki yuki no mi user would give off a smirk. Though something was off about it, she seemed somewhat distracted, like her mind was not in the meeting. This would be true, her thoughts remained upon the unusual law. Now this grass hopper was here, he was a marine member. Anger seeped through Melissa's very core. "I bet you knew all about this Grass Hopper" Melissa would say as her grip upon the would tore through the mass breaking off a chunk of the wood beside her.

Being were she was, she had the marines in her view.  Standing up Melissa would open her hands, the wood falling to the floor. "Then I think you'll be the perfect message to these pathetic fuckers at the 153rd." Melissa would say, her eyes wild and fierce.

Anton had been about to respond to Ryujii's question regarding the seastone when another voice answered for him. A voice that sent a child through the commodore's spine. All eyes went skyward as they saw none other that the Elegant Fist herself looking down at them from the mast. Needless to say, their reactions were instant. Anton's sword was in his hand (not that it would do any good), while Celia had drawn her pistols, aiming them at the woman (again, not that it would do any good).

This isn't right! It hasn't been twenty four hours yet. We still had time!

Anton's eyes were wide as he looked up at her. He could try to put on a brave face all he wanted, but truth be told, he was absolutely terrified of the snow woman, and his wide eyes showed it. The sword trembled lightly in his hands. Then she would say something as her hand seemed to crush a part of the mast, almost like she was angry. But why? Knew about what? What exactly was the woman talking about? Confusion flashed on the commodore's face momentarily before he moved slightly to avoid the wood she had dropped from above (not that it would hurt him, just who wants splinters falling down on them).

"Celia...Ryujii..." Anton spoke up, "Get back as far as you can." His second in command looked at him, shocked. "But sir!" "Just get out of here!" Anton yelled out before she could say anymore, "None of us could hurt her. There's no sense in all of you getting killed!"

If Anton was going to get murdered, he may as well make sure his allies got out safely.

There she is. The one Marines have been preparing for. Well, sort of preparing for. This lady presented infront of him. Who boasts her strength. Who seems to know how to sneak. Who might has profecient use of stealing. Who is what the world calls...Pirate. "Well, Well, Well" Ryujii would say after the Commodore told him to get back. "It seems you are strong enough to scare the Commodore. But...if I were to break this ship apart and make sure you sink to the bottom of the ocean would you be scared of standing where you are now?" Ryujii shrugs "Of course at this point I am not strong enough to break this ship in one swing.... but I don't need to break the ship now do I?" Ryujii would say with a smirk.

He walked up to the Commodore, now next to him prepared to fight. Swing his Bo Staff in one hand he would prepared himself to fight. Obviously he wasn't going to make the first move. That would be rude. This person is a woman after all. Ladies first you know? But who gives a shit about morals when your life is on the line. You gotta do what you gotta do to win or live.

Therefore, Ryujii started to run simulations in his mind. He wouldn't lose focus but he would start to plot out what she might do in this limited space. Ryujii only need to swing hard once at the floor. But he would need to break the floors under her aswell. So he would either need to go down by himself or make her hit him down to the bottom level. Of course his would damage Ryujii quite well. But he doesn't think that it would kill him and that is all that matters.

Bah, we need to get off the ship. In this limited....wait...The only people that are really limited is the Commodore and this Melissa person. Maybe Ryujii could grab the Commodore if need be and jump off. The Commodore might be quite heavy though. But that is something he would do if there is nothing else to do. Lets hope this woman can fall into traps.
