Oh gods... This weather was gorgeous... And not even just the weather, too. The closer Linnea got to this island, the more she felt as if she'd just found a treasure trove of nature. The Melusine had been off sailing to its own devices, leaving the Captain to do what she did best: Taking point and exploring new lands ahead of everyone else. In this case, she was more than happy to do so, even going as far as foregoing her usual ranger's army instead of a rather sexy black bikini. Linnea wasn't shy about showing her body like this, but noticing how her crewmates - mainly the male ones - just kept gawking at her still made her blush like a schoolgirl in love. Guess there were some sides to her shyness that she'd just never be able to overcome.
"Jyooooo!", she heard her old friend Sengoku should from hi up in the sky. The Southbird had been mostly confined to the ship for the past few months, he was too easily identifiable when what the Uroboros needed right now was to stay incognito. The bird wasn't happy about it, but he'd been content to silenty explore the neighboring islets. He was a huge help with navigating around Ennies lobby, to places where the Log pose didn't point to, and it was his keen eye that first brough this island to their attention. And he had more than earned his right to explore it to his heart's content
Linnea giggled softly and pet her feathered friend as he perched himself on her shoulder, as always amused by the way his beak seldom pointed in the same direction as his body, in this case pointing the opposite way... She strapped her pouch around her waist, slid her bow and quiver around her back, and leapt off the ship, seemingly into the ocean. But she wouldn't fall to her death: Instead, crackling sounds filled the air as she froze the water beneath her in a rather wide surface, creating a wide path, gradually stretching towards the beach. Even with all this sun, Linnea's ice was thick enough to remain stable as long as she needed it. Thus, she did what she often did, walking on water towards the island... Yet walking like this, without her hood, Linnea was sweating at the sheer heat blazing over her... The sun was so bright... Sweat trailed down her face and arms, with a stray beat occasionally slipping down between the ample valley of her cleavage, even if this time around there were no peeping toms to admire the sight. She wiped the sweat off her forehead, raising her hand over her eyes to block out the sun, thankful for the sea breeze freshening up her skin. The Ice woman was always more sensitive to heat than cold, even before eating her fruit, and even if she was more than capable of enduring the adverse envoiromental conditions.
"What beautiful weather...", Linnea commented happily, turning her steely gaze upwards with a hopeful smile on her face. The fresh sea breeze refreshed her sweaty body as the crashing waves welcomed the arriving pirate to the white sandy haven. Before long, she could see all the way through the clear shallow waters. At the point the water was shallow enough that she could actually risk dipping her feet into it, and so she did... She felt herself slightly more exhausted and sluggish as she was submerged up to her ankles with the clear warm water, but it was still completely worth it...
