It was a rather pleasant day on Karate Island, specifically the North Village. Though it was still morning, the sky was clear and there was a gentle breeze passing by. Some people were already up and about, either going to work, to buy, or to get to some place else. And, of course, it was the perfect day to hide from your job and slack off, especially since Karate Island was a independent island. That being said, it is here where Wade is residing temporarily. He managed to sneak off his base a couple of days before and, using his little crappy boat that he made himself, sailed to Karate Island to relax. And by relax, I mean lay down in the trees all day and sleep. Nonetheless, he still felt that it was somewhat proper to patrol around for any trouble. He was a Marine after all. That was the reason why he was currently inside of a bar right now. He was standing and laying against the wall, eyes closed, a small smile plastered on his pale face.

It wasn't long until a group came in and sat down, cheering for their Captain. Wade didn't open his eyes, partly because he saw no reason and mainly because he was tired and it felt good to have his eyes closed. Nonetheless, he kept his ears open, listening intently for anything that may seem a thread. He yawned suddenly, the light shining upon the Marine symbol on his top hat. Soon enough, there will be a conflict and when it happens...he'll be ready for it. Until then, he will remain half asleep.

The white giant had almost actually fallen asleep when he heard someone call out to him. Managing to forcibly open his left eye hesitantly, he managed to see where the source of the voice came from. A young man from across the room, situated at a table with a group of Marines. Wade, managing to put two and two together, assumed that the "Captain" these men were cheering and are still cheering about is him. Slowly, Wade straightened himself and let-out a yawn, stretching with his cane in hand. It was very apparent at the size that he was, possibly being that tallest in the room. Adding it on to his rather....................................unnatural look, many of the patrons who were there simply stared at him wide-eyed. Once done waking himself up, he brought his cane down and put his free hand in his pocket before making his way to the Marines. The entire time, Wade observed the young man.

He was rather good-looking, he'd give him that, if not out-right feminine in appearance. He also judged by how much taller he was compared to his subordinates that he was also one of the larger humans in this bar. Wade didn't stare for long though and, with his relaxed eyes, smiled his trademark creepy-ass smile once he was at the table. With a bow, he took off his top hat, revealing his spiked gloves and long-hair. "Mornin' sir." He said with his very surprisingly smooth and chilled out voice. He then stood, awaiting a reply.

Wade listened to the young man and, with a simple nod, took a seat. He sat opposite to the Captain, with any surrounding Marines slowly and quietly scooting away from the giant in discomfort. He placed his cane at the side of his chair, allowing it to lean there, as he then sat his hands on the table. He straightened himself before speaking to the young man. "Where to begin..." He said, looking up for a moment to gather his thoughts together before speaking to his fellow Marine. "I'm Ensign Wade Lamar Bainbrydge. I've done some missions here and there.....been to some islands....nothin' much." He would say as he closes his eyes for a moment contently, reflecting on his memories of his old comrades, namely Axel and Hoshi. He would quickly open them though, looking directly into Steele's eyes. "Killed some rogues. Other than that, ain't really much to me." He would finish, prefering to keep certain things more private.

"And you, sir? What 'bout you? It impolite to not explain yo'self, ya know..." Wade would go onto say as he watched Steele with his less than comforting eyes. It was around that time a group of four men suddenly came in. Loud and boisterous and ordering the bar keeps around for more rum and beer. Wade let out a silent sigh before listening to what the Captain had to say.

Wade listened intently to the words of the young captain, nodding every-so-often to show him that he was still playing attention. So it seems that Steele had a bit of experience himself. How nice. At least Wade knew he didn't just fluke his way up to Captain. Then again...he can't really say much, considering he's still a Ensign. Before he could continue to muse to himself, the four men suddenly burst out with drunken laughter and yelling. Wade, while not showing any different expression on his face, gripped the table tightly. If there was anything that bothered him, it was loud, unneeded noise. "Hey baby..." One of the men began as he leaned towards their waiter, who was hestantly pouring them more beer into their cups. "Hows' 'bout we leave this place and back t-" Before the man could continued, she brushed him off and quickly tried to walk away

He wouldn't have any of that, and the man reached out and grabbed her arm before she could get away. "DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME WHEN I'M TALKIN' TO YA!" He yelled. Wade, with his restraints now gone, stood up, straightened his blazer, grabbed his cane, and calmly walked to the group. "'Cuse me, sir?" He said calmly, all four men looking up at him. "Do ya mind lettin' the little lady go and leave the bar?" He said, his usual smile on his face. "Why you...." The man suddenly pushed the woman onto the floor and stood. He was about 6'2 and burly...........and didn't even reach Wade's shoulders. Nonetheless, he stood with confidence and pulled out a knife, pointing it at Wade. "Who ya think your talkin' to boy? I-" Before he could finish, he was suddenly launched back with intense speed, smashing into the wall and almost breaking through it. He knocked out in a instant, with six small bloody holes on his abdomen. The remaining three men slowly looked at Wade, who had took off his spiked glove and was wiping the blood off with a napkin.

He then turned to the remaining three. "Would you three gents please get your pal and bring him home? I thinks he had one to many." In an blink of a eye, all of them scurried up, picked up their friend, and almost ran out the bar. Wade, now content, bent down and helped the girl to her feet. After exchanging some words of gratitude, she left and Wade returned to the table and sat down, sweat on his brow from the excite. "Forgive me, sir, I just couldn't let it happen."

Wade wiped the moisture from his brow as he listened to the young Captain speak. He was slightly taken aback for two reasons. One being paperwork, which he loathed, and two being the fact that he was essentially forced into the young Captain's crew. Not that he really minded, since he seemed nice enough, and Wade wasn't really part of a definite crew to begin with. As he mulled the idea over, he watched as the Captain stood. Though Wade still taller, the young man was quite sizable himself, being only about 2 feet shorter than Wade. When he stopped and stared at him, Wade soon realised that he was waiting on him. With a eventually "fuck it" and shrug of his shoulders, Wade stood as well, revealing his massive height of 9 feet and 11 inches. He reached down and picked up his cane, holding it tightly in his right hand as he approached Captain Steele. "Seems a bit rushed, don't ya think?" Wade asked coolly, placing a single hand in his pocket. "Well...alright then, let's get goin'. I wanna see how your ship is like." And with that, the white giant made his way past the young Captain and his small little squad and out the door of the bar. He began to slowly make his way to the shipyard, moving slow enough that he wasn't really far from the bar yet so the Captain could catch up.
