Briss Kingdom is known for it former wealth, and it partnership with the World Government. Like most World Government islands they place marine outpost to maintain there influence, and control over the island just in case something pirate would attack it. Briss Kingdom Marine Outpost was located on the southern part of Briss Kingdom. Those the World Government doesn't have full influence it have enough influence on the island to negotiate a small piece of land from the kingdom.

That was more enough to establish some influence on the island, in any case today was a very special day Ensign Derous along with a couple of recruits have been assigned to Briss Kingdom Marine outpost. Unfortunately Ensign Derous was assign under Commander Steele due to his amazing feats in combat,and outside of the field. In fact Ensign Derous should be a higher rank but for some reason the board decided to revolted his request like 17 times despite Derous many commodation, and awards.

Today weather was rather normal not a single cloud in the sky, and the sun was beaming down on the citizens of Briss Kingdom as well as Marine Outpost . As for Commander Steele he was located on the 2nd floor in a rather large office a 6 meter square with a wooden desk,and large piles of paperwork loaded on his desk. The paper work had conceal him due to it height as Commander Steele sat directly behind the desk in his little rolley chair. His office had a single wooden door which had his name in grave within it,and 2 glass windows along the each side of the door each 1meter in all direction. An just behind Commander Steele chair was smaller table which had a  large Den Den Mushi monitor which had several images of the base in, and out.

There were enough den den mushi camera to full the base in, and out not to mention not a single blind spot . Today technology was remarkable and this world government had funded this base quite considerably.Despite the island itself being poor that doesn't effect the world government financial due to great influence that spread far, and wide.

Commander Steele had spoke to himself saying ,"Damnit so much paperwork! I wonder...When the new recruit would show up?" Commander spin his chair around examing the monitors of the base. This marine out post was rather large so the base is fill with marines officials. Around the room was other furniture that a office would need , and Commander Steele door was unlock. As any other day Commander Steele was dressed in his marine attire that was very similar to nobleman entire.

What could Ensign Derous say to justify his tardiness ? In all honesty he could say nothing, But lucky Commander Steele wasn't a strict when it comes to being by the book. But it seems like Ensign Derous had already made a decent impression on Commander Steele. Even though Commander Steele didn't like being a marine nor did he like marines that much one thing was for certain he had great amount of respect for those who are a hard worker, and despite Ensign Derous rank he had put in more then enough work for such formalities to be forgotten. Unfortunately Commander Steele didn't know much about Ensign Derous personality due to the records only holding achievements ,and assignment he had complete.  So it would be best to get a feel of his personality before jumping too any conclusion.

With two knocks against the door Commander Steele had spin his chair around as he rearrange his paperwork along his desk so he could view Ensign Derous appearance. As Ensign Derous had enter into the room Commander Steele had a warm smile upon his face . That same smile turn into a smirk when Ensign Derous toss a salute at him. Oddly enough Commander Steele begin to rise up from his seat only to awkward bump into his desk causing several stacks of paper to fall towards the general location were Ensign Derous stand. But that didn't stop Commander Steele from returning Ensign Derous thoughtful salute which he had toss back out of respect, and protocol.

Commander Steele had frown as he watch the paper work fall toward the direction towards Derous.  Commander Steele had said," Well good god, My clumsiness know no bounds." Returning his attention to Ensign Derous as he said," Welcome Ensign Derous, please have a seat! Oh shut the door too we don't want any rats sneaking in.
There was a small chuckle that escape his lips as Commander Steele sat back down behind his desk. There was two chairs just in front of Derous each of them 1meter from each other. Commander Steele had pointed at both of the chairs were Ensign Derous could sit at if he chose to sit if he didn't chose to sit Commander Steele would continue on with his conversation. After examine Ensign Derous closely he had said, ,"So tell me about yourself lad... I am eager to know!"Commander Steele had adjusted his body to sit upright as he awaited for Derous reply.

Commander Steele had begin to ponder the words of Ensign Derous. His words were carefully selected as if he was both disappoint, and feel with hope. Commander Steele had already had a taste of Ensign Derous personality even those he couldn't sample all of it he knew it would leak out soon. But for now Ensign Derous skills are needed not only for World Government success but for people of Briss Kingdom safety. Commander Steele had nodded his head in approval then said ," First I would like to say Thank you Derous for your help.... Now moving on I am looking to test your abilities as a scientists Derous. As you know everything have a weakness I was looking to either temporarily suspend that weakness while in battle or erase it all together. I was looking for a battle suit that can morph like Zoan Devil Fruit User, with the durability of steel, and it is light weight. If you can some how make a suit like that I will purchase that, and I will put in for your promotion personal. The next issue is I lack speed I was looking for a drug that can give me a temporary boost in my speed so I can move faster in battle. Both these are needs are of me your superior, and potential friend. I hope we can grow to have a better understanding as achieve great results as team!" Commander Steele had place his hands on the wooden paper as he examine Ensign Derous body language.
