Task Name:Another crew!?!

Description:So, after defeating the Bumbutt pirates it finally comes out. All of these pirates were celebrating because it was their last night on this Island, as what they stole from Marines was a Log Pose. And they all decided to combined their forces and becoming just one big crew when entering the Grand line.
Enemy Details: 60 T0, 30 T1, 10 T2

"Tch! At first, I thought you guys were just fucking around. Having fun before we were all to leave tomorrow, but now I see it clearly. You guys are Marines. Damn, and I thought you guys would be fun to tag along with going into the Grandline." A Man would say. He was the one from earlier that was watching the fights, never leaving his spot. He though, at this moment, was in the middle of the road. Nine others behind him. 

"Grandline? So, that object that Marines was talking about was a Log pose?" Derous would ask, not moving from the porch he was on. As, he had just finished killing Big Bum. As the dwarf had just finished screaming out in pain. 

"Yah, the HEAD Captain has it. But, that doesn't matter. You guys did take out the Bum pirates. They were projected to die when we made it to the Grandline anyway though, so no real lose their. But, we can't let you guys leave this Island. We don't want the World Government planning on stopping us, as we are a force to be reckoned with." The man would add, as he would pull out a long blade. 

"Oh, is that so?" Derous would ask. 

"Yea."  The Man would say as he would get into a fighting stance, the others doing the same. 

Steele and the others(from what was said in the last task) where pulling out. Though, they would find it wouldn't be that simple. As, many pirates would be waiting for them. Around, sixty Pirates clustered the streets, blocking their path. This wasn't all of them, as they put the weakest upfront. Every Pirate within this town knew who the enemy was, and would kill them, or at least try to. Why? Because the Marines had already declared war. 

ooc: You can control those you are fighting Steele. But, try not to make it one sided. They have more numbers than you so this should, even with their low tier, be somewhat tough. 

Though they didn't seem to be the same level of Big Bum, Derous felt a bit on edge. As, it just seemed they were of a different caliber than all the other pirates, and their style. Knights, or that was their pirate theme anyway.  So, Derous had decided he won't be using his Devil Fruit abilities at all this fight. But, that was because of a few reasons. One, he was in a too open space and didn't want to reveal too much about himself; as he didn't know who could be watching. Second, he didn't want keep relying on his Devil Fruit. As, he didn't know what all he could do with it yet, as he didn't really use it like that anyway. And finally he wanted to not get too rusty, so he wanted to try a few things out. 

"So, are you all going to come at me at once? Or we going to do this one at a time? Actually, come at me at once. I want to see if you guys look as good as you look." Derous would say cockily, to try and get a rise out of them. Though, from their face, he couldn't really tell if he got them serious. Well, they probably were already serious, so not that. A better word would be if they are really.

"Please, do not underestimate us. Our Captain has trained us to even deal with people of your level, but. That doesn't matter. You will die today, so nothing else should be said." The Man, who spoke earlier, would say as he would rush forward, strangely able to reach his optimal speed after just a few steps. He first strike would be a powerful downward slash aimed at Derous. Though, he was fast Derous could still keep up, and even surpass him. And was able to avoid the downward swing by side stepping to the side. Though, before Derous could counter he would notice that another of the them had leaped forward and was coming preparing to try and steal the head of Derous. Derous would avoid this as well but this all was a set up, as another, while the other two had advanced, made his way behind Derous to thrust his blade through the back of Derous. 

'Damn, they are good!' Derous would say as he would barely avoid the attack to his back. Not by completely getting out of the way but just by barely adjusting himself. As, he did keep going back, delivering his won elbow to the face of the fellow once close enough. But, as said before, he did suffer a cut to his side for not begin able to completely avoid the attack. Derous' attack was strong enough though to send the fellow stumbling back, and falling over. His nose broken from the impact. 

"Gosh, you guys are really good." Derous would say. They group had been fighting for awhile now, and it was getting good. Though, the armor glad warriors seemed to be growing tired. Maybe it was them fighting at such a fast pace in that armor. As, even if they are condition to wear it for long period of times this wasn't a normal fight. 

"I will be honest, you are one of the best fighters we've faced. But, without a weapon you won't be able to get through our armor." The Head grunt would say, panting a bit as he gathered his breathe. There was only one place Derous would really attack and that was their face, as they didn't wear helmets. 

While the others gather their breathe the Head grunt would rush out forward, slashing out in front of him in a horizontal motion. Derous would avoid the attack by ducking under the attack, and quickly moving forward and coming up. The Head grunt was right, Derous was at an disadvantage. So, he would fix that. So he would even the playing field a bit. Quickly, with any hesitation he would thrust his right hand forward, his reach allowing him reach the man's face in time. Though, he attack wouldn't be punch, slap, or scratch. But, rather a simple jamming of his two fingers into the eye sockets of the Head Grunt. 

"Pop." Derous would say as his attack would land, a bit of blood squirting out and hitting him in the face.

The sound of the Man's eyes bursting from the force of Derous' attack made the other stomach turn, as they didn't expect such a dirty attack from a Marine. And the scream of the Head grunt didn't make it any better, as they knew he was in great pain. As, he even dropped his weapon and fell backwards to the ground wallowing around in pain. Derous wouldn't be done though as he would pick up the dropped weapon, a simple sword. And would look at the others. "Okay, guys. I'm not the best in the world with these things, so go easy on me."

ooc: T2 enemies not touched, by whatever Steele did. They are fighting me. He can do whatever he wants with the other enemies. 

'This feels so boring now, I don't even feel up for it.' Derous would thing to himself as he exchanged blows with his opponents.  Well, I don't think you could say it was much of an exchange. As Derous rarely tried to strike out with the blade he had taken from the fallen. This wasn't because he holding back or something, but rather he didn't want to be put in a bad position. As, he wasn't that proficient with blades, or any type of melee weaponry. And he knew that he he tried to play it off as if he was he would be the only one to suffer. He did though excel in close quarters combat, and that would allow him to not fall so easily to these pirates. Also, this fight began to get boring because these pirates thought it would've been over long ago. As signs of fatigue from wearing their armor was beginning to show. 

One of them would get the idea that if he fought Derous alone his comrades could regain some of their energy; and that was smart, well kinda. It would though come at a cost though. This pirate would rush Derous, just like they did before, and wildly begin to swing at Derous. Tiring himself out more quicker; but from it's wild nature Derous was put on the defensive. Well, he didn't block but from his superior speed and reaction time he would just avoid the attack, and let the man tire himself out. 

Things go just a little bit better when you plan it, well Derous thought that anyways. As he was engaged in battle with one of the knight themed pirates another had go their breathe back, and while Derous was focused on the wild swinging fighter the other would try to position himself behind Derous. Waiting for the right time to attack, though he or she would fail to realize Derous wasn't alone. Yes, as when Steele had first started the attack on all the pirates here Derous was carrying someone, Beki. And Beki didn't just disappeared but was just was eating. Yes, getting the taste of Human flesh. As, Derous had let Beki devour the head of someone wounded Marine, that was already going to die, within the building he had been thrown out of by Big Bum. 

Derous really just thought Beki would just eat the head and be done, but the little creature actually would eat the body whole. This being the reason no one really has seen Beki throughout all of the fighting. 


The wild pirate theme knight would reach his limit and Derous would take his chance to end him, not truly paying attention to his surroundings, for only a instant. But it only takes an instant to die within this world. So, as he would thrust the stolen blade he held into the throat of the heavy panting knight themed pirate he wouldn't notice the other behind him about to strike till it was almost too late. Blood from the attack would gust outward. And two bodies would hit the ground, one faster than the other. Derous' attack had landed. And Beki had finally shown himself and made a entrance of it's own. Coming out of the building some time ago, and waiting for it's chance to strike like a true predator. As, the knight themed pirate that thought he would kill Derous was only focused on that, and didn't pay attention to anything else. And well wouldn't notice Beki jump out at him and biting down on his head whole, until he fell. 

Looking back Derous would see that he was saved, by Beki of all creatures. He was fine with that though as if it was someone else it would be embarrassing; and they may ask for a favor in return for saving his life. With Beki Derous could just give him something to eat, that is better than what he usually feeds him, to repay the debt. 

Though, with the remaining seven enemies Derou couldn't play around anymore. He had to end this quickly, as they would also target Beki. And they had seemed to all regain their energy anyway and weren't going to fight one one one any longer. Derous would remove the sword that he still had lodged into the fallen pirate's throat. And would launch it forward at the group, one of them sadly wouldn't move out of the way and have the sword pierce into his side. Though, that didn't kill him and he just smiled. As he, along with the others, saw that Derous was without a weapon now. 

Quickly, without making any errors in their steps, rushed at Derous. It taking them not long to reach their optimal speed, as this was going to be the last blow. Their combined attack would be in the hope of ending Derous, the creature to follow next. Though, one person lagged behind just a bit, the one that was injured with the sword, his bleeding getting worse and worse as time passed. 

Derous watched them and didn't move from his spot at all, as he was getting himself ready. It wouldn't be noticeable due to his already black attire but his legs, along with arms, would begin to be covered with a strange dark black liquid. It took only a couple seconds for the group of knight themed pirates reach their intended distance to skewer Derous. Though, they would seem to be just blown back, well six of them, instantly. Flying backwards into the buildings behind them, and Derous would be seen lower one leg. Though, it wasn't over yet as their was one more attacker. Derous would try to jump tot he side, but the attacks he did a put of a number to his leg, so he couldn't move that fast. And, there it happened. The pirate would thrust his sword into the side of Derous, not all the way due to Derous moving away, but a portion did enter the body of Derous. But, that wasn't the only reason he didn't get to kill Derous, as he was suffering from his own injury and would fall to the ground. Filled with a mix of emotions as he bleed out. Happy he got to hurt Derous, but said he failed to slay him. How the other six were killed, or beaten, in like a blink of an eye was because Derous didn't hold back with his last attack. Kicking them with extremely deadly force, that would break any defense they had, added to his kick being coated in one of his deadliest strands of poison. As, even if the kick didn't kill them the poison was sure to do the job. 

It was over, well kinda, as Derous fell to the ground. The wound did pain him a bit, as he didn't he would take one like this. Sucks that his Captain had withdrawn without him, as some assistance would be nice. Though, Derous knew things weren't even finished here, so he couldn't just withdraw. No, their task hadn't been completed just yet, he still needed to take that object back. That was the whole point in this, so he would stand to his feet. 

"Beki, they went that way. If you hurry you will catch up with them." Derous would say pointing in the direction Steele and the others went, Beki heading there once told. As he watched Beki run something would hit Derous on the head, and he would look in the direction it came. It was beginning to rain and the sun was just minutes away from setting. Derous would look away from the sky, as he needed to do something before he went out to fight. So, he would go into the building he killed Little Bum in.
