Against All Odds: Part III

Grey kept running down the road, waiting to finally reach the underground base he had been told about. He knew that this place was the base of operation, and he would have to take it down. He hoped that the boss was alone, since he was sure that he would be fairly strong. If he had henchmen with him, or other Marine Grunts Grey would have to deal with them first; and that wasn't optional, or good in his situation.

When he finally arrived to the destination, he began to breath as a way of revealing stress. He didn't know what to expect from the Marine Boss, and he didn't know what to do after he beat his ass. By now, he was sure that the boss hadn't heard of Grey yet, but Grey was sure that he would still be able to know the difference from a Enemy and an Ally. Grey was greeted with a large door, and a large storage house. Maybe it was used to store the goods that they were illegally making out of slavery, he thought.

Grey smirked as he knocked on the door, only to be greeted by a voice of what Grey hoped off as a Marine. "Who are you, and what the fuck do you want here?"

"Hey! I have a delivery for you guys! The other marines sent me here in a hurry, so I'm sure it's a fairly important package! Please open up!"

Against All Odds: Part III

"Ok! I'll open it up for you! Don't cause any ruckus please!"

Just as the Marine Grunt opened the large door, Grey could feel his adrenaline rising, and him getting ready to beat the shit out of whoever appeared in front of him. He smiled as the man operating the large opening door, had finally taken a glance at him. Obviously, the grunt was shocked, but Grey knew what he had to do before he could even get to their leader.

"So, here is your package."

Grey smiled as he threw a small rock into the grunts hand, and immediately rushed behind the grunt before he could realize what was happening. God damn was Grey fast, he would even know where to deliver a blow to the temple; knocking the grunt straight out. Grey was a master of these sort of things. He loved to know where he could knock people out with one normal kick. Using his special moves, would only wear him down and he felt like he needed all his stamina if he wanted to beat this Marine Captain.

Normally, Grey wouldn't kill anyone ever but sometimes going berserk was exactly what he needed. His feelings toward this Captain wasn't the same, he wanted to kill him, rather to make him suffer for his actions. That was why immediately when he saw this man, he would use all of the skills he had in his arsenal to get rid of him. Or to make him suffer, and hurt him as badly as Grey could.

Against All Odds: Part III

As the Grunt that Grey just beat up fell the ground, Grey turned his head to him only to place him in a specific spot. He didn't want to seem barbaric, and he wanted to just move him out of the way. He dragged his body from the middle of the store house, and moved his besides the wall to the far west. While dragging it, a beli note popped out of his pocket, and Grey was struck with a great idea. He did need some extra beli, and what better way then just steal a bit. He dug his hand into the Marine's pocket only to find a large amount of notes, which Grey later stuffed into his own pocket.

The feeling was absolutely great. Stuffing your own pockets with money was phenomenal. Grey didn't know what he was going to do with the money but it was obviously going to come in handy, and he already regretted the fact that he didn't do the same with the other marines that he knocked out cold. Now, he knew what he was going to do. Any Marine in sight, he was going to rob them of their money, after knocking them out of course. And just when he was thinking about them, god speak of the devil, he heard this.

"What did you do to Jobs! You Monster you! What's your name?!"

"I'm Grey, and I can fuck both your girl and your day at the same time."

"What the fuck are you talking about you little shit head?"

Grey couldn't help but laugh at the man, since he obviously underestimated him. Yet, Grey couldn't blame him, he underestimate the Grunt too. It was normal for him to underestimate such a weakling like this grunt, after all he could beat him in just one kick. He believed that this one was as strong as the other, and Grey didn't want to waste any time with them, nor any stamina.  He stopped laughing and began to smirk at the man.

"Once you wake up again, I recommend you tell your higher ups what I did today, and all of the mayhem I've caused, bro... Also, don't mind telling your Captain, since he'll most likely be dead once I'm done with him."

What else was Grey suppose to say. He was suppose to sound clear and concise, as well as scary at the same time. Not only did he want his reputation to go up, but he also loved to hear his name to be called out in either fear or in honor; he didn't mind which one it was, just hearing it was enough. Grey smirked and decided that it was over for this little Marine grunt that was already seemingly so cocky. He rushed over to him, only to be punched by him. The punch that was given to Grey was directly connected to his cheek which hurt in a way. Grey looked up at him and coughed up a bit of blood.

"Nice shot. But you won't be lasting for long."

Time for a bit of cheeky Grey, he thought.

Grey smiled at him and began to throw some beli change that he had in his pockets from earlier in the day. He hoped that would be enough to distract the marine, and he would be able to get a hit in; and it worked perfectly. The Marine Grunt was distracted enough by the coins to look up and gave Grey and opening. I'll have to stop using these cheap tricks soon, but for now they're useful.

Grey rapidly rushed back into his enemy's perimeter and gave him a kick straight to the jaw. That was another quick way to knock someone out. The jaw, connecting itself to the skull is a very effective way to render someone unconscious which is what Grey did to this egocentric shitty grunt. The man fell on the ground with a large plop, and Grey made sure that he was safe even though they were enemies. Most common folk, didn't know much about pirates, other than the fact that the marine tell them that they are the worst people of all. On the contrary, most of the times pirate save the people from the corrupt marines but only get blamed. Grey was fine with getting put the blame only if it resulting in him both getting a bit richer, getting a higher bounty, and defeating many more corrupt marines.

Grey began to scavenger in the marine's pockets too, only to get a bit more beli notes and to be a lot more satisfied with beating this guy up.

Against All Odds: Part III

Once Grey had finally dealt with the grunts, he hoped that there were no more and that he could finally deal with this Captain. He had wasted too much time fighting these petty small fry, and believed it was time for some actual competition. He ran straight down to the end of the storage room only to see a very tall man, that was even taller than Grey; and Grey was five foot nine. He was fairly intimated by this man, and as he looked around Grey saw that he had a sword on his right side, which meant that he was a swordsman. He hoped he wasn't good since swordsman were the bane of Grey's existence.

"Well, I've been waiting for this moment. Just to beat you up. How can you call yourself a marine captain, you disrespectful piece of shit."

"Me? Hah, I'm not going to let a little brat meddle in my plans and ruin my business. So, just be a good boy and leave before I beat you to a pulp."

"You know I'm going to kill you right."

As soon as Grey finished his last word, he jumped up and began to shoot the man with a bunch of heavy normal kicks. Once Grey reflected his decision, it was a really bad one, since the man unsheathed his sword and barely missed Grey. His heart was racing, and that was the first time he was this close to death. The kicks that Grey did seemed ineffective, they were too weak, he needed to bring something with more power.

Against All Odds: Part III

Grey knew that this captain seemed tough, and for sure he was, but he was just a stepping stone for Grey, and he was bound to be defeated. Grey decided it was time to get a bit more serious and use some of his special skills instead of just hitting him with normal kicks. Yet, Grey also had to worry about the sword in the Captain's hand, and he planned on getting rid of it first.

He leaped four meters into the air, astonishing the Captain and leaving his rattled. Yet, he quickly regained his figure and grabbed his sword to strike Grey. Grey began flipping rapidly knowing of the time he had left before the sword would strike him. This man seemed like he was still an amateur to swordsmanship. Even though he was powerful, he wasn't as fast as a normal swordsman would be at this level. Once Grey's kick connected to the Marine's head, the sword was very close to Grey yet due to the Captain being damaged to the skull he couldn't control the strike anymore. Grey used the last of his momentum and kicked the sword out of his hand and far out of his reach. He had rendered the man useless, without his sword he couldn't do anything. When Grey landed on the ground, the captain was holding his head in pain, his katana was on the other side of the room, and Grey stood there almost undamaged.

"Well looks like this is checkmate. You don't have your katana, you're pretty much useless now. Just surrender."

Grey felt fulfilled, he felt very good about himself. He had beaten this captain with barely a scratch on him. What a let down though, he expected more from him. Yet, to his surprise this wasn't the end of the Marine Captain.

"Do you really think they let me be a Captain just because I knew how to use a little sword? You little shit, you don't know anything, and you could beat me even if you tried."

He didn't know what the hell this man was talking about, did he know how to use another fighting style? Grey's question was soon answered by the view of fists being pounded in Grey's direction. It was obvious that he wasn't as strong at fighting with his hands then his swords, but Grey knew that he couldn't take him so lightly. He jumped up and blocked one of his shots with his leg, only to beat the captain's force just by a bit. It seemed like Grey was winning until another one of the man's hands pushed itself into Grey's side and made him cough up blood. By now Grey was on the floor, and the captain was looking at him laughing.

"Did you really think that removing my sword would end me? Did you really think that us Marine Captains are that weak? I could beat you any day of the week you weakling. Now get the fuck out of my sight."

Against All Odds: Part III

Grey's blood began to boil, god was he pissed. He tried to reduce or even not think about the damage that was done to him, but that was fairly hard enough. He stood up and looked at the Marine Captain.

"Listen here you old pile of shit. I know you are the one that's behind all this slavery and underground shit, and don't think you're going to get away with it. Don't think you're going to be leaving this island alive. You'll be dying today, and by these two hands."

Grey used the little energy he had left and ran over to the Captain and jumped about two meters high into the air. Grey forced about four kicks each at a different place of the Captain's body. One to his face, one to his stomach, one to his left leg, and one to his right arm. At this moment the Captain seemed like he had died. He was coughing out blood, and all the trauma to his head was enough to kill the man. Grey smirked as he got it over with and thankfully took the Marine's money from his pockets. This was the end of his journey on this island, and he had saved the people from the reign of these corrupt Marines. Grey ran to his little draft, and left the island. What fun and successful battles he had, he hoped to do something as fun as this again sometime.
