It had seemed like a journey with no end, the only indication that the crew of adventurers were making progress towards something new was the scorching hot weather. Many men walked bare-chested on the deck of Naesala's ship and some women around and bando tops and things of that nature. Naesala himself wore his regular garbs. It was hot, but the heat didn't bother him much, just anticipating getting to the next island was weighing heavy on his mind. "You'll have a heat stroke at this rate, why don't you take off some layers or something." This was Naesala's navigator to whom he turned and faced with a faint smile. He was seated on the wooden floor of the upper-deck where the wheel was next to the newest member of his crew, the man that navigated the ship, Bato. "I've been drinking a lot of fluids and the heat doesn't bother me much anyway. I've been taking a swim every now and then so I'm pretty cool." Bato nodded then turned his focus back forward and continued to follow the direction of the Log Pose until their scout in the crow's nest shouted out. "I think I see land!" Despite what you'd think, everyone kind of sighed and shook their heads at the exclamation. Naesala was fairly optimistic however and stood up from his seat on the floor and hopped down from the upper-deck to the lower/main deck. "Toss down the spyglass." Naesala looked up prepared to catch the magnifier to confirm the man's claim. This was the seventh time he had called out land on their landless voyage and he knew the crew mates weren't to happy about him still being in the crow's nest scouting out for them.

Catching the spyglass a smile broke out over Naesala's face as he peered out int he direction they were sailing. Before he even spoke, his crew let out a cheer of excitement. "We finally found some land!" Looking back up towards the scout and giving him a thumbs up, Naesala tossed the spyglass up towards him. He juggled it for a bit, but he caught it in the end. Walking to the upper-deck via the stairs near the rim of the ship, Naesala thought about how long the scout had been sailing with him. It had only been about 3 months now. He was a young fella, about 16 looking to get his bearing on the waters, but Naesala felt he had some promise, so he took him on the boat. It wasn't like him to turn people down anyways. "Just keep heading straight we'll be there in about fifteen minutes." Bato nodded and Naesala laid down on the deck of the ship, he eyes closed and his face shaded by the sails of his vessel.

The half hour having passed, Naesala awoke to find that they were in the process of docking in a small port town. All the other ships docked didn't look like much, so he figured no pirates were around and more importantly no Marines. He didn't feel like fighting today, it was a day for relaxation and leisure activities. "When we're all docked up it's the secondary squads turn to watch the ship. I'm going to get a drink." A few sighs slipped out of his crew's lips along with cheers of those who weren't tasked with watching the ship this time around. The ship docked and the plank lowered to the pier of the docks, Naesala casually walked down it and into the small peaceful seeming town. A few people were gathered at the docks admiring his ship, apparently it wasn't much of a normal site and that spoke to him.

"Can I ask where it is exactly we are?" He asked the first man he approached and the man looked him up and down amazed at his physique. "We're traders haha, got a little thrown off our route and trying to get back on it." The man nodded a bit hesitantly obviously taken aback by Naesala's size as were the others in the town.

'That's a big ol' ship. Way bigger than my little rowboat. And it's pretty' Geryon would think to himself as he, along with others, admired the ship that would be to dock. Geryon had though seen ships of this calibre before, just not in this little port town. Soon a man befitting such a ship would disembark the, and from what Geryon would hear from the guy own mouth was that he was trader.

"Oh, this the Kingdom of Alabasta! But to be specific you are in Yuda. The worst little ol' town in the Kingdom." Geryon would say, though he wasn't the one asked the question. He should've been. That's besides the point as he answered the question before the other gentleman could. His intentions were though not to help the Trader, as he couldn't help those that were lost. And why he talked harshly about this town was because of how they treated him. Yes, he may have unpaid debts here but it wasn't his fault.

"You shouldn't stay here for that long though." The smelly drunk would say as he would waddle in front of the Trader, looking the guy up and down. "I'm not trying to bully you guys, but this little ol' town isn't a place trades should come to. Not to trade or to have a good time. The most they would do is gawk at you. But there is a place...Rainbase.. Yes, Rainbase! That is a place you should go!"

Why Geryon was being pushy, and butting in, was because he wanted a drink. But not any drink the best in all of this Kingdom, and well from how he was he couldn't even get access to that place. But, if he was in the company of people like Traders he could possible get in. This place being Rainbase, a town just up the river. The Casino there , from what Geryon heard, sold better alcohol than even the Capital. And he wanted some.

Naesala's attention was drawn from the man before him to an older gentleman who was probably somewhere around Naesala's age. He could tell the man had quite the reputation from the faint noise of sighing and teeth sucking that came from others within the crowd once he began talking and trashing the small town Mithos had docked in. "Yuda huh? You're right doesn't look like it has much to offer trade wise." Naesala was just speaking the truth, no trader would want to spend much time in a place like this for even half of a day. The most they could offer him was fresh water and some food probably.

The natives immediately seemed to shift their attitude towards Naesala when he too spoke down on their town and sided with the drunk. The truth hurts, but the hulk of a man held no punches for the sake of people feeling happy or good. If the town was shit it was shit. "You interested in taking me to this Rainbase old man? I'm sure there's someone who can help me out somewhere there. Me and my company of traders will take care of the journey's expenses and toss you some liquor for your troubles." As Naesala made this conversation about he and the drunk the crowd began to slowly disperse, but a few lingered by to hate on what was unfolding as a mutual exchange between two people who spoke ill of their home. Slowly as docking duties were fulfilled more people started to come off of Naesala's ship and they stood nearby for further orders. "Go stock up and look for a map of this Island somewhere, we're gonna be moving again soon." His men would nod and go carry out his assigned task as he continued to talk to the drunk.

'Old Man? I'm barely over a hundred.' Geryon wasn't that old, well he wanted to believe he was still young. Yes, young and full of vigor. But age right now didn't matter as the Trader, whose name wasn't known yet, had agreed to go to Rainbase. Geryon didn't expect him to agree so quickly, and had already thought of a bit of things to say to make him change his mind. But, those thoughts weren't needed anymore.

"By the way. My name is Geryon. What is yours Trader?" Geryon would ask the man. Also, Geryon would look back at the Trader's ship. As he wondered what kind of cargo the man had. What he traded and a few other things, that he planned to ask.

Naesala would walk to the wall of a building where a few idle barrels and boxes were and take a seat upon on of them. It wasn't far from where he was standing before, so he was still in casual speaking range of the old man Geryon. "My name is Naesala. Are you a native to Alabasta or what's your story?" It was still kind of hot and the water that had logged his clothes was all dried up leaving him kind of hot and it was evident as he looked around a bit eagerly in search of something to cool him down and quench his growing thirst. "Any decent place I can get a drink around here?" The crowd had completely dispersed by this point, obviously discontent with Naesala and probably seeing his vessel as nothing but an eyesore now.
