As the boobytraps of the safehouse had taken down a dozen men of fifty, Deshas had long realized the events that transpired in the place where he was supposed to be safe. Instead of fleeing, he had already made sure of his safety. Those men that he brought alongside him were no match for him, and Szsaldynn himself was taken care of.
A white eagle resembled peace, harmony and surrender.
A blue eagle resembled sadness and grief.
A green eagle resembled pride and nature.
A black eagle resembled defeat and betrayal.
A red eagle?
A red eagle stood for victory..
And the eagle that went and gone, was entirely black except for a red wing. Betrayal of one of their own. The wings were painted a color whenever something happened to a fellow Eagle. So when a eagle that stood for defeat and betrayal had a red wing, it didn't mean there was victory in defeat or betrayal. No, it meant the traitor was succesfully found. And there were but three people who actually understood this message aside from the people inside the compound.
And they were on their way. Szsaldynn had betrayed his fellow Eagles a long time ago and went into hiding until his case was dismissed. Because of the mind games, the ''Knowledge is Power'' and the fact that Chaos was a ladder, it all led up to the point where Szsaldynn despite Deshas's best interests came for a man he should not have targeted. Surely, one lost some profit but the same man who caused that was perhaps a genius of his time.
He was not a inventor, a engineer, a shipwright, navigator, doctor or artist. He was a man who foresaw how the world was going to work: strong individuals out for treasure, fame and more power. None of those strong individuals knew there was a path to those three through politics and intrigue.
It was easy, setting up every single person, organization let alone Island in his way. And as Deshas prepared himself for battle, the Eagles had already entered the safehouse and were going to take down Szsaldynn in their own name but by his orders. Sentenced to death by a nobody.
As Deshas took off his shirt as the surviving 28 fodder entered the same room as he was, the bloodlust in his eyes was visible. His blood was pumping and he was ready to fight his way out of this. As Szsaldynn followed his men, from behind the Eagles approached him.
