It had been about a week since the Revolutionaries had picked up Dr. Avery Taylor from Drum Island and Cyrus had been getting by just fine on the island alongside the Drumlins. They were a quiet people, mostly kept to themselves considering he was the outsider but Cyrus quickly found he shared a similar love with the Drumlins. That love of course being a love for alcohol. When the Drumlins got drunk, Raul in particular, it was like a light switch had been flipped and they opened right up. Never in the way that they would give away secrets about their organization, but personality wise the Drumlins not only knew how to party but were good at it. With such a heavy blow being dealt to the kingdom of Drum Island, there was need for celebration. Not to mention the amount of work that required doing had gone down considerably with the royals busy licking their wounds back up in the mountains.
So that's where the messenger for the Revolution found Cyrus, about eight shots deep in a local pub. He clinked mugs with Raul and was about to race the shorter man in a battle of chugging when Cyrus was tapped on the shoulder. The messenger wore a scarf around his/her face, goggles, and a hat, completely hiding his/her identity. Classic Revolution. The messenger handed Cyrus a file and then left without a word. Cyrus shook his head as he opened the file, watching the words run along the page, jumbling up and twisting his mind. The next day, after he awoke and nursed his hangover, Cyrus would find that the file was sending him to Jaya Island to meet with some other Revolutionary contacts and that Cyrus had actually received a promotion for his work on Drum Island.
So, currently he stood at the bow of a Revolutionary ship, bound for Jaya Island. He had only been to Jaya Island once and it had been brief. The short time it took to unload after the Battle of the Redline, get his arm patched up and then jump ship to the one destined for Drum.
