As wounds got patched up, Zeke adjusted his top hat, regulating his breathing so the debris from the flames wouldn't effect him as much. "Thanks... Locked-kun, Rishishishi... I haven't caught your name up to now actually." Zeke said. "Things around here are getting crazy... I can hear them. The voices of humans screaming from the flames and fear... This city isn't safe anymore." Zeke said. "Sucks... I heard a rare blade was around that I wanted to snag... I think I should just make my way to Logue Town like intended." Zeke said talking to himself. "Interesting ability you have..." Zeke commented as the sting from the stitching became slightly unbearable now that the adrenaline was tapering out of his system.

"I can hear the sound of footsteps approaching they're pretty heavy. What's the deal Locked-kun? You escaping or do you want to asset the situation a bit more?" Zeke inquired. "However, I'm pretty sure this city might have marines present, due to the simple fact of that recruit's wounds and uniform." Zeke said reflecting on earlier. The flames ensued, from the distance, two Fishman observed the fight between Hide and Zeke, reporting back to the Shark finned Fishman that was currently involved in Marine confrontation. "Really... Fiore lost... Fool." the Shark skinned fishman uttered.

(fight happened off-screen)

A small thunderclap erupted from a place just north of where the Squid merman was located. On the source of the burst of electricity was a crowd of fishmen running away. Fillthy animalistic blood down the sett of the city, running the fine stone, much to the disgrace of the man who had caused it all. Setting the sword down on the critically injured body, a Marine finished his duel with an electric eel that had stepped out of line. After doing so, Damocles crouched down and claimed his prize. He figured he would get at least one hundred beli for the head of this ugly bastard. Maybe he could even take out someone out on a date or possibly buy an entire round of drinks for any other Marine in the town. He still wouldn't think of that. He had better things to do. So he grabbed that hideous face and dragged it down the streets, hoping it would scare one or two fishes along the way.

The duel, while hard, had not been impossible. The Marine could easily recall how the other seemed to gain the upper hand with his natural electronic abilities. It had been a single opening. While the spear struck true to his side and a jolt of electricity blasted him, Damocles still managed to hold strong, despite receiving two injuries. Once the Marine let goed of the eel's head, he saw that the other slipped away and got up from the pavement. A snarky comment about how easily ehe managed to get the upper hand escaped the eel's lips and while the Marine tried to talk back, he had neither the patience or the desire to meet words with the fish. However he had to react quickly for the other thrusted forward with his spear, once again running a charge of electricity through it in an attempt to deal extra damage.

By his part, knowing he wouldn't beat the other in a duel of speed, resolved to counter the other with sheer defense. What resulted was a last fight not of might but of will. The speed of the other was amazing, one of the few things he would admit from the other, but so was Damocles's defense. An exchange of parries and counters clashed. Metal started to degrade and lose it's edge. Even the gathered fishmen looked at the duel with awe. Yet as much as Damocles wanted to persist the rapid-fire exchange of skill, he knew that he would tired off later. That was the key to his victory. Hence ho he managed to deal one single grave hit on the other after exhaustion took place.Yet it wasn't before the eel decided to use his last great attack, a beam-like attack of concentrated electricity that he blasted from his mouth. He barely made the dodge given the effects of his fight with the other, ut in doing so, managed to gain the opening he needed and struck sure.

Now Damocles was walking around. His eyes met an interesting sight. Another, odd-looking Marine with some hint of werewolf hints to his persona (OOC: I am going off straight by the face claim) who was cockily adressing another one of those freaks of the sea. His confident attitude made Damocles smirk up and he decided he would see if this idiot needed help. Judging from the size of the fish however, it seemed he would have to have a hand in the whole ordeal. The fish seemed to be some sort of fish boss for he was surrounded by another group of fishes that Damocles assumed were his subordinates. Therefore, after walking up to the pair, boldly standing between the two, Damocles arrogantly threw the head of the eel fishman at the squid and laughed. "Oi, big, fat and ugly. Are you the boss here? If so I'm glad. Now I get to have some calamari for dinner!" laughed Damocles as he unsheathed his sword. The squid fishman by his part angrily grabbed one of the swords that was around him and struck down, a blow Damocles blocked with his own large sword. "Oh I'm gonna enjoy eating you tonight!"

''I am Dagaja, bringer of terror to those who have human blood!'' A dark, very low voice was heard with mechanical tints. The Squid Merman said, shouting it out loud for everyone to hear. A bit cliché, Zis thought. That guy described himself as the most stereotypical villain there could be. Even so, he was no pushover.

''Did you answer both my questions?'' Zis would respond. During his response, he'd listen to the taunts of a second Marine on site. He studied him from tip to toe and came to the conclusion that the man was a swordsman who had been in battles before today. He looked at the merman the same way Zis did: fierce, cold-hearted and anything but afraid.

He would crack his knuckles and his neck, twisting it to the left and right and letting his head lean on his shoulders creating cracking sounds.

''In a way. Those were my last words.. for you, as not even the two of you are able to put a stop to me. I'll be His right hand man, and I'll tear to anyone to do so!'' Dagaja followed up, inspiring other fishmen in the vicinity that would hear his voice. During the dialogue scene, Marines and Fishman would keep on fighting against each other which was heard in the background.

[Man, I'm done with this fool. I'm sparing my words for now. That other guy seems pretty interesting, though..] While thinking, Zis would close the gap between him and the Squid Merman Dagaja by stepping towards him at a slow pace holding his lamppost tightly in his right hand after picking it up again from the ground. It had been lying there since his last fight. He looked over his shoulder, hoping for the other Marine to follow up.

Dark-ya's wounds finally sealing up, Dominick would take another glimpse of his surroundings. The fish-men were defeated in their region, and he wasn't feeling the most comfortable in the situation. He'd grab his counter-parts arm, and throw it around his head, hanging onto his shoulder. With his knee's he lifted the wounded fellow off the ground, and slowly walked toward the shore line, avoiding confrontation with other fish-men on a quest for power. Was it really this much damage needed  to obtain power? What was Oceanus's actual plan. They made forth towards the shore line, Dominick didnt know how his new acquaintance had reached this town, but it was in his best interest to have him go back. His injuries weren't that bad, but they could cause problems if reopened.

The town was rising in flames, though the fish-men still seemed relentless in obtaining victory. When it came to his well-being, it was the choice to take his leave in the event that reinforcements would arrive to back up the rampage. The fish-man yonko, what was on his mind? Was giving this servants false hope by obtaining a bounty that exceeds the pirate king that important in obtaining the rightful title he thought he deserved? I this was the mind-set that he believed would take him places, Dominick sure didn't like it.Their was something big coming, an event that would shake this world, and it's current era. Would it belong to the Marines or those who roam around the water freely?

As Zeke advanced through the back alleys of the city purged in flames, using Hide as his prop to escape, Zeke firmly sheathed his blade. "This is terrible..." Zeke uttered. The sounds of the villagers being torched under the shear heat of the flames which now almost floated above the city like a looming cloud, hailing down streams of flames and heat which engulfed the town, Zeke couldn't help but think what injustices would cause the Fishman race to want to eradicate human beings to this extent. Making it to the shore, Zeke motioned towards a rock, in which he looked back, onlooking the flames.

"I wonder if this is how Briss looked when it was burnt to the ground... World Government... Pirates... It's all the same in the end." Zeke said clutching his hand into the sand. By the dock, five additional Fishman approached from the water, these of a barracuda type it appeared. "I guess were late to the party! Boss is burning it down to the ground!" one of the grunts shouted. "Looks like they are some strays", the Fishman said bearing their fangs.

It was a difficult to admit situation. Their was a sense of excitement and enjoyment in the sight of another Marine fighting alongside him. Yet the same could be said about sharing a fight. It wasn't fun to share a toy, and neither was it for a predator to be deprived of his prey. Even so, the sound of heavy metal clashing against against metal was a delightful one. For each strike of the other's spear, Damocles met the challenge with a parry or a bash. Despite this however, he could not gain much of an advantage until the other raged on. A rapid-fire assault of spears came rushing at Damocles from all aides, but the Marine stood his ground, managing to defend against two spears while swinging his blade down, snapping three other wooden spears near the head. Despite this it was not near for a conclusion. While the other abandoned most of his weapons, he still had gumption in his form, gathering another weapon that he used against the Marine. This time a pair of pistols that he had seen but could not react to easily. And it was this way that one of the round pellets buried down to Damocles's shoulder.

The wound wasn't much, but it was enough for him to fall back and drop down his sword arm. He was more than able to lift a sword such as his, he still relied heavily on his shoulders for movement. Hence it wasn't whether he could lift the blade, rather if he could swing the blade. Despite this their was some solid space between the two that made for good grounds. Seeing as he could not move as freely as before, Damocles notched three bolts and unleashed a small burst that managed to wound the other squidman. His goal wasn't true defeat via marksmanship, for he knew he was bad at such art, but rather he wanted to inflict enough damage so he could at least recover from his impact. And recover he did. After the other snarled to the Marine, Damocles smirked wildly and grabbed his sword again. He managed to raise it enough, but knew he could only swing it once before tiring out due to his wound. Therefore, he looked at the other Marine and broke the silence between them.

"Hey you, wolf-guy! I can cleave this bastard in one go, but I need time. Whoop his ass enough for me to build-up the attack so we can end this quickly." suggested Damocles who began to focus his physical might at the steady of his blade. It was all nearing the climax. Now he only needed to either have the other cooperate or gather enough strength to make his one swing count. Meanwhile, the squidman grabbed a couple of cutlasses that had been scattered around and lounged at Damocles who was hoisting his sword upwards and still charging his attack.

Standing right infront of the Squid Merman Dagaja, Zis would extend his right arm backwards which was holding his lamppost weapon. He was going to unleash a hard blow to the side of the stomach following up with him flipping his lamppost backwards like a somersault only to let it dong right on top of Dagaja's head. However, while he was simulating his move, the other Marine started to talk to him.

"Hey you, wolf-guy! I can cleave this bastard in one go, but I need time. Whoop his ass enough for me to build-up the attack so we can end this quickly."

[Wolf-guy, eh.] Zis thought. He had another move in his mind and he was gonig to execute it and improvise afterwards.

(OST)
As Dagaja armed himself with sharp weaponry aiming for the swordsman Marine, Zis would make sure to stop him. He jumped backwards with his lamppost clamped tightly with both of his hands only to start spinning it around to block the cutlasses coming through. It was like some kind of rapidly spinning windmill that would just hit everything trying to pass through. Doing so his lamppost would almost effortlessly stop Dagaja's attack. When Dagaja pulled his tentacles back, Zis would run towards him to counterattack.

It all started just like he thought his other move out: a quick swing by contracting his right-arm which was holding his lamppost, aiming to hit Dagaja in his stomach. His fingers were gripped tight on the handle except for his index finger which was pointing forward. Before he hit Dagaja, he would drop his lamppost however as a distraction. Instead of hitting with his lamppost, he would increase the speed in his arm to hit Dagaja with a Shigan.

''Shigan!''

His finger would pierce the flesh of Dagaja on his chest, at where the heart would be located. However Dagaja did put up resistance, hitting his arm with one of his tentacles which were part of only his lower body. His finger would miss his heart, but it would deal severe damage.

''Damn it!'' Dagaja would shout; swinging some of his tentacles around violently. Zis would pull his arm back and turn around 180 degrees during the moment following up by sweeping his left leg over the ground. Some of the tentacles would hit his body leaving wounds that whipping would do too. Despite the pain it would inflict, Zis would try to ignore it by biting on his lip to the point where he would bleed. Turning around further, his left leg would pass through the tentacles as if they were nothing but cloth.

Dagaja would lose his balance for a second, only to keep standing but increasing the distance between him and Zis for a meter. Five seconds would have passed since Zis engaged Dagaja. How much time did the swordsman need was the big question.

Zis would continue to fight with Dagaja engaging in a bare fist brawl; punching, slipping punches, blocking punches and dodging punches was all they were going to do. It was remarkable that Dagaja was trying to go for Damocles during the fight, but when he did and his eyes would look his way Zis would land a hard blow on the merman's body. Damocles had all the time in the world.
