Linedwell had yet to finish his patrol of the island in search of more paranormal enemies that had recently been threatening and murdering many of Karate Island's residents. Mr. Miyagi's tasks seemed to always keep Linedwell up at odd hours of the night running around this island fighting whatever sort of enemy he deemed that Linedwell needed to face. Even though this task was one that Mr. Miyagi felt was necessary in order to protect the denizens of this island, Linedwell also knew that facing these foes had been yet another way to train him. In all honesty, Linedwell had to admit that fighting these skeletons had been building up his combat experience - something he felt he had been lacking while in the Marines.
The further he ran into the woods, the more he began to feel as though he wouldn't find anymore of these skeletal enemies. There was a part of him that hoped he'd been able to accomplish the task of killing each of these enemies and that Karate Island wouldn't be bothered with their presence any longer, but another part of him hoped that he'd find more of these enemies to take down. Either way, Linedwell's trek through the forested area continued on and on until he finally exited the forest and came across the same grassy plain that he'd first crossed a few nights ago. The area was perfect - given that the grass of the area seemed to naturally be trimmed short, coming up only about two or three inches out of the Earth. The lighting was also something that was a positive. The moonlight fell upon the grassland in a way that it illuminated the entire area (109x48 meters), giving anybody a great view of potential threats, and hopefully any skeletons that still loomed would decided to make an appearance.
Once Linedwell stood in the middle of this grassy area, he decided to wait patiently. He'd had enough of all the running around he was doing. If anything was here he hoped it would simply show itself.
