"Don't worry Wally. You're not going to die as easily as Vic here. No, you're a swordsman like me, so I want to really test my abilities. It's been a long time since I was able to use a sword with my hands unbound. Do you know how much easier this is than having chains around them? Might as well only have one dislocated arm." Lee lamented. He growled sadistically as he stepped forward, quickly closing the small gap between himself and Wally.
Not wanting to be on the defensive, Wally struck first. He swung his sword with both hands down towards the top of Lee's head. Lee stepped to the side, his teeth gritting, and brought his sword up, slicing through the blade of his opponent. It was a shoddy sword to begin with. He wasn't working out of his own volition, so what did it matter the quality? It was enough to make them accept the weapon, but not good enough that Lee would have wielded the sword himself, or even sold it for that matter.
There was no room for poor workmanship. It pained him to even see that imperfect blade and know that he'd forged it. He wanted to destroy it just as much as he wanted to destroy Wally.
As the severed blade clattered to the ground, Lee struck again. This time, his blade sliced through the man's forearm, leaving only a small sliver of skin and muscle holding the man's arm on. He'd have gone fore a clean cut, but the trauma of trying to place your arm back on when it's hanging like that, Wally deserved nothing less. They were a long way away from civilization, and Lee had no medical skills, nor the desire to assist the man. He was going to die soon, but not before Lee added insult to injury.
As he left, Lee stomped hard on the man's shoulder, hard enough to free it from it's socket, and render any resistance even more futile, and just as painful. He walked away from Wally, despite the pleas from the man to not let him die like that. He knew what he was doing, and Wally was getting off easy. Captain Illan, if they ever met again, would not be so lucky. Lee could promise that much.
