Wandering around was by far the best thing to do on Karate Island... The faces she saw changed every day, and with them the kinds of interesting people she could run into. That said, her growing bounty would eventually start making things more difficult for her and she'd have to start getting rid of bounty hunters every now and then. That's probably why so many pirates choose to group up with a trusted crew, unless they happened to be incredibly stong, which just wasnt Linnea's case.
And then there was her meeting with Concetta... She didn't even know it was the same girl at first, but it was the same Concetta who she once called her best friend, back on Amazon Lily. There was no way she could have imagined that she'd end up running into her again in SOuth Blue:
"It's gorgeous.", she answered with a calm, gentle smile, her narrow gaze firmly set on her friend's crimson eyes as she breathed in the sweet scent of the flower field. Blushing bashfully as the foxy dark haired blew her a kiss, the ever shy Lin simply looked away nostalgically as all those memories of her youth slowly came back. She remembered it clearly, her memory was still an impressive tool, "I do... That tree is still there, you know? You really should come back for a visit sometime."
All women were welcome in Amazon Lily after all, which was why this girl managed to live there all that time for them to become the best of friends, even if she wasn't a Kuja by birth. The calm and quiet girl soon let out a yelp as her friend suddenly pulled her elswehere to go grab dirnks.
"Of course! If we travel enough, we're bound to find some.", she answered with complete confidence, holding her friend's hand between both palms reassuringly. She was clearly bothered by the prospect of being alone, being the only one, but Linnea would never let that happen... Not after having found her again after all this time.
She followed the girl as she stepped inside the tavern and claimed a table for themselves, clearly looking confused by her comment. Why did she say they were thirsty? They had enough to drink in their hands after all. The only other thing they did was look at the two of them, like everybody else...
"They all have their own drinks though...", she observed with an innocent look, clearly confused by her words
Fanning her face, and with sweat dripping off her body after the long walk, the shaded tavern proved incredibly refreshing. Lin's skimpy light gray ranger outfit helped keep her fresh even under this searing heat, and for all her psychological tolerance to envoiromental hazards, her body just didn't agree with it. As a she scanned her envoiroment, she was surprised to see a winged person relaxing nearby, and she couldn't help letting her gaze linger on his small feathery wings with an obviously curious glimmer in her steel blue eyes. Guess she was right about staying in Karate Island, clearly there were plenty interesting things she had yet to see... She turned back to Concetta and was surprised to find her mere inches away from her with a playful smirk on her face, and reflexively blushed at the sudden proximity:
"Uh, yeah...", she spoke shyly, looking away for a moment before back at at her beautiful friend's eyes and smiling dreamily, "You have the freedom to do whatever you want, to chase your own dreams without being told how to do it."
