What happened previous time: Spook in his glory and might found a book at the old Ilusia library; learning or rather finding out that it was encrypted he decided to find more information about it. He had an idea in mind, he knew of an old man lurking near the old marine light tower every day. He figured that he might be able to tell Spook more about it. Thus, confronting the old man with the book he found out something interesting ...

'Over my head, you say?'

Spook said, not sure what he was talking about. Spook was ambitious, capable, things like these were no worry for him.

'Oh, oh, I'm sure you've heard about them. They're the rage these-days, every young pirate and marine the like talk about them in their taverns.'

'What are you talking about?'

'Devil fruits, is what they're called. Information about them is quite rare, I suppose. They're artifacts of ancient times. Some people, some powerful people posses them.'

Spook nodded, he sat down and listened to what he had to say some more.

'The reason why I recognize this one, is because I know series in which this fruit is about, it's a logia. And that's all I can say.'

The man threw the book on the ground, next to Spooks feet.

'Now take that book, and get out of here.'

Spook snarled at the man and picked his book up.

'I'll need you to tell me more than that. I'm sure you appreciate your tower, sure would be a waste if it became the target of daily egging.'

A chuckle echoing through the chambers of the lighthouse.

'Egging you say? -- oh damn, fine; books like these are encrypted.'

'I've figured out that much by myself,' Spook said, snarling again.

'A person can't decipher it, sorry to share that with you; but, however, there are ways to discover the so called encryption method and figure it out yourself.'

Spook nodded, and listened some more.

'There's a man in town, he collects those books. Encryption-key books, or something like that. One thing is, he's a soldier in the army, or I mean uh.. the marine? Yes, that's what the newfriends call it now a days'

The old man, named Gambit, said.

'That's all I will tell you, now if you excuse me, I must go suck on a big fat cock.'

Spook was glad with the information he was told. He grabbed the book and put it in his coat and left the light house. It was raining, depressing really. He made his way to the house of the old man had spoken about. He knocked on the door and a shaded figure answered.

'Yes?'

The voice asked, Spook stood in a shadow as well, because he was a cool guy. He also didn't respond, which made the other voice speak out again

'Who is there?'

Spook had one hand on his spear. Ready for a surprise attack, the man in the house began closing the door slowly. Confused by Spooks silence, he had a bat next to his door that Spook couldn't see.

'Wait'

Spook said.

'Jeffrey Jonson?'

'No?'

And then, suddenly a strike of thunder booming the air, vibrating and shaking the rain around it while simultaneously Spook used his spear to thrust forwards.

His spear being his long schlong of course. And his long schlong, being his spear of course. The marine soldier was on his guard, however, which made him narrowly step aside away from the tip of the spear. Using his agility the rogue soldier grabbed his bat and swung at Spook, even though his half closed door prevented him from striking Spook. Spook grabbed his schlong by its shaft and began to thrust it forwards. He kept thrusting his schlong which caused the door to break down. The rogue soldier ran away from the door, Spooks madness was too much for him.

The man kept swinging his, bat, if you know what I mean, at Spook. Unfortunately without avail. Eventually Spook managed to chase the man to his kitchen. He kept thrusting his schlong towards him and eventually graze the man a few times.

'I want the books!'

He yelled, rogue soldier man spartan-tier swung at Spook which hit Spook once. His shoulder slightly bruised he kept on thrusting. He saw an opening and simultaneously struck him back. The entirety of his schlong penetrating the navy man.

'Give me the books!'

Spook yelled again, pulling his schlong out of the man and thrusting it back in more viciously, more raw than he previously had been. The man bled like a pig from the holes that Spook had put in him. He collapsed in his kitchen and bathed in his juices.

'Oh blimey,'

Spook said after the man had collapsed. What a faint soul. Another death in Spooks name.

Going through the fallen soldiers library he found some encryption books, titled, 'Devil Fruits and you'. He grabbed an empty carton box and collected all the books related to the decryption of devil fruit books, he found one particularly that he might need- it was about logias. The old man Gambit had mentioned it. There were about fifteen books like those. He took a piss over the other books that the rogue naval soldier had and then lit a cig, dropping it in the basement he made sure to burn the entire sure down to the ground; not wanting to leave evidence of his presence.

After collecting the books he went to the boat he now lived in. He went to the quarters and lined all of the important books up, he prioritized them. The most important book was the devil fruit book, and then came the decryption logia book and so forth. He decided to read through the decryption of Logia devil fruit books and found out that all of them are encrypted in a different way. The key depended on the owner of the fruit, for example, a marine owned devil fruit has a different key. After learning most popular methods he found out that the fruit was a dark one. After learning the most important key deciphers he concluded the name of the fruit in which the book described.

YAMI YAMI NO MI

Spook being intrigued tried deciphering the abilities that the fruit had, but couldn't understand most of it. He wasn't sure which faction exactly owned the fruit, but the writing did remind him of old revolutionary linked to high level marines.

The most clear chapter he could decipher talked about a gatekeeper in paradise. He ought to find more information about the fruit from him. He read some other tales, tales in which a dark marine soldier at around the age of 20 had obtained it. That was at least thirty years ago, Spook figured. The name of this soldier wasn't written down in the book, some chapters had coffee marks blanking out the important details. One of his abilities were that he could control light, which was probably an exaggeration; because it was a dark fruit. Perhaps it was philosophical, it controlled light because it had control over darkness. It sounded eerie, Spook thought. Maybe the old man was right, and he was in over his head. Spook did like to prove others wrong. As he laid on his bed, reading most of the other chapters as much as he could he found out about a clear ability, it spoke of the darkness that would corrupt the personality of it's holder. There was one more user of this fruit, he was a nice person up until he had control of the fruit and ate it.

Maybe it was the power that went to his head, or it actually was the fruit. This was something Spook did consider, he considered himself to be a strong person in terms of emotion. He could surely handle himself after attempting to take this fruit himself, couldn't he? At least he liked to think so. It also motivated him to go and quest for this fruit. He made a small list, and put it in his coat. A list with tasks. He kept the devil fruit book of Yami Yami in his coat, and he got rid of the decryption key. Should he be betrayed, nobody will be any wiser.
