Description: In the books you have managed to obtain there are some tales about the dark dark fruit, the fruit you are interested in. The fruit depicts being popular around the grandline, and it refers to a gate watcher close to the grandline. Go to the grandline and meet this gate watcher. By now, word that you are trying to find out more information about the fruit gets out; the holder of the fruit finds out in the next task.

Spook held the book close to his torso, reading it as close as he could. The encrypted key that he used to decipher all of the meanings in the book still burned strong in his mind. It wouldn't be something he would ever forget. The tales, stories, and the fear for the devil fruit depicted in this book, called the Yami Yami. It was something Spook desired, something he... strongly desired. Lust for something other then sex gave Spook strong emotions. The more intense his emotions are surrounding a particular subject, the better he remembers them. Thus is the same for any other person. The sound of becoming a darkmensch was very appealing, even for a person like Spook who is considered rather neutral most of the times. He read some passages about the effect of the fruit, and the effect that it has on the people who consume it. It is many centuries old, and time and time again people haev become corrupt after consuming the fruit. After sailing from the blues, he and his crew had arrived at a rather... particular island-- it wasn't as much as it was an island, as it was a holdout for marines. Which was very unfortunate, but they managed to find their way around. For example, one part of the island was inhabited by normal citizens. Those citizens usually had some ties with the world government either way, but they weren't soldiers. They weren't marines, like the lot of them. And that's primarily where Spook had aimed to do his activities on. It was true that he read some passages about a gate watcher. This was the island to find more about information about that watcher.

After doing up some digging while undercover as a marine he found out that the Enies Lobby has quarters for marines that have retired but are still interested in working for the world government as office work--or whatever appeases them in doing. He learned about a gatewatcher while speaking to one of the other marines in the tavern, while dressed up. There was an issue; that issue being that the Enies Lobby was a court for criminals; which meant that there is a lot of marines actively present around the island. He read somewhere that there is about 10,000 marine officials present. Which, obviously, is too much for him too handle should he cause a ruckus.

But he wasn't very afraid of fighting multiple marines at the time; as a matter of fact-- he was training in those types of situation because he was planning of creating a situation like that very shortly. Though that didn't mean that he was gonna go in guns-blazing, it meant that he was gonna beat up some wandering marine soldier and steal his garb. He wouldn't want to look differently, if he looked the part, nobody would have any reason to doubt his presence. He stole some letters as well, he wanted to learn how to fabricate official marine letters. He found out that they have a special seal that he couldn't very easily duplicate, but everything else was pretty easy peasy. That meant that he could fabricate a seal, but it would look slightly off. It wouldn't give anyone any reason to doubt it, unless they inspected the seal closely. The books that he had read, and the queue he received from an old man led to Spook to the Enies Lobby. Lucky he was-- that he ended up on these islands. The artifact that he acquired told a tale of a marine soldier acquiring the fruit over 20 years ago.

He had heard about a gate watcher as previously mentioned. Stationed close to the island, but not directly on it. This was quite helpful, considering that operations on the island were almost impossible. As he walked over the bridge to the lighthouse that led to the retirement home of the gatewatcher, he could hear the planks creak. There were footprints on the wood, meaning that someone had been coming here in and out. Knowing this, he had his spear ready and by his side. Inching forward he saw two soldiers at the entrance of the light house.

'Halt'

They said,

'Identify yourself'

Spook of course, could not do that. Well, he could use the identity of the person he ripped-- but it would show that he isn't that person. He reached in his pocket, and took out the not matching identity. As he extended his hand, he pretended to drop it. The guard stepped forward to bend over in order to grab it. This gave Spook a chance, with his spear in hand he extended it to strike the soldier left of the door. Grazing his major artery the soldier stepped away, landing in the water, while bleeding out fast.

With one of the guards knee- deep in water, the other who was bent down tried using a well amount of momentum in order to strike back at Spook. Missed, unfortunately-- the saber of the soldier barely grazing the cloth of Spooks shirt. The other marine who was knee deep in water struggled to get back at the pathway. This gave Spook some more time, as in a reflective response to the saber slash of the marine in front of him he thrusts out his spear, aimed at his neck. Failing, he grazed the topside of the soldiers head who managed to brilliantly evade Spooks lethal attack. However, he was then to be blinded by his own blood dripping from his forehead.

'I cant see!'

He yelled, hoping that the other guard would properly assist him. Who did, as a matter of fact, he lunged at Spook. Spook took advantage of the situation by kicking the long sword out of the hand of the marine soldier who previously was in the water. That meant that he now had to look for the sword in the water, which would seem troubling considering that it was getting inked red. Spook swept his spear horizontally, striking both the sub blind marine soldier and the one that jumped back into the water to try and avoid the sweep. With the sub blind marine soldier being decapitated there was only one enemy that was left. The soldier feeling a boost of motivation after seeing his best friends head fly into the air lashed out with all his strength at the pathway, if he couldn't get back on the pathway why not destroy it-- that sentiment caused Spook to strike simultaneously back at him. His rather thin spear pierced through the neck of the marine soldier.  

Spook used the water to clean the blood off his spear. Somehow making it across he entered the lighthouse. Being cautious as always, he looked left and then right before starting to walk up the stairs. To his avail, he saw two more soldiers near the door that led to another staircase. They were alerted, because they heard some ruckus from outside. There were approximately two, Spook overheard them before stepping closer. They were a slight bit worried.

'Shall we contact the head quarters?'

One said, which made Spook bite his bottom lip. There was no way that he would stick around, maybe he needed to push up to them and not allow them to do that?

'Nah, it's probably fine.'

'Alright'

That was a sigh of relief.

Spooks actions matched up with the dialogue of the marine soldier. His spear coming out from a blind side relative to the marines soldiers position. Giving himself the edge, the spear would pierce the abdomen of the soldier who didn't pay attention. To Spooks surprise he was being flanked as well, the other soldier struck Spooks backside. Spook tried to react as much as he could, managing to fend the attack into only scathing his back. Something that would take a very small amount of time to heal.
