It was a day off. Zeppelin did not have any projects lately and took these small opportunities of free time to go out and get some fresh air. She had become acquainted with some of the locals by now, having been involved in a couple of acts of heroics as well as stopping to chat with them whenever she was out on one of her patrols. Stopping by the market on her walk, one of the shopkeepers recommended heading towards the docks. Apparently there was some sort of small festival for the local fishermen. Since she had nothing else to do, she figured it was a good chance to try her hand at the rod and reel. It was apparently a very relaxing past time enjoyed by those with a lot of patience. The experience might get her a bit closer to the people too
To say it was a small festival would be a bit of an understatement. While there were not many people crowding the docks, there were a number of small fishing boats out on the marina. The few who didn't have boats were all standing near the edge of the docks, casting their lines.
Zeppelin eventually spotted one of the festival organizers renting out fishing rods and selling bait. Paying the man, she went off to a rocky area to get in on the fishing action. She put down her bucket on the ground, put the bait on her hook, and cast her line the same way she saw the other fishermen do it. She had a knack for being able to imitate people's movements after just seeing them once. Sure enough she managed to drop her line a good distance away. She then sat down and waited for the fish to bite. The atmosphere was quite relaxing.
