Mavis had been roaming the streets of Yotsuba, she smiled smelling the salty air. She was on her daily walk, in her red dress with, her neck covered by it's soft white fluffed material around the back of her neck and arms. She readjusted her collar, with a smile. She smelt of vanilla. She wore granite black high-heels that went up to her knees.

She straddled Gōruden Tenshi to her back, the muzzle-loader strapping onto her back perfectly. As she walked down the streets of Yotsuba, men would stare as her chest basically popped out in her dress. It was no different than another day, her breasts always stuck out, but in this dress they popped out. She would kindly smile and walk quickly away from the men. Mavis had made her way to a small cafe shop that she had gone to for a few weeks now.

"H-Hey. I need a Strawberry milkshake! Please." She yelled as she opened the door.

She sat down at her usual round table in the corner, she sat on a stool waiting for her shake. 

The man sat the shake in front of her. "This one is on the house." 

He winked at Mavis, who just smiled and thanked him. She sat sipping on her shake like a child but etiquettely. Waiting for something interesting to happen, she was considering of leaving the boring island soon, she had been in Yotsuba for almost a month.

Mavis had seen the whole situation go down, she was kind of disappointed she looked at him in disgust. She sighed, how could he be so destructive? Mavis looked at owner, who she had met several weeks back, she and him had talked and drank together over the weeks, not alcohol though, since Mavis didn't like alcohol. She began to lay her head against her right palm, her elbow on the table resting.

"You do know, that costs money, right." She gave a blank stare. "I doubt you have the heart to pay for it too."

She had stared at him, the owner called him Raphael, so apparently that was his name.


"However, quite a nice appearance, Raphael." She smiled slyly.

Mavis took a tip from her smoothie staring at him, awaiting any action from him. She could tell that this one would be a violent one. Which means she would probably have to be careful, at least keep a guard up and her caution high. She mentally prepared herself thinking of possible situations and what she could do if he was to attack. Mavis kept a warm smile on her face as she just looked at the man.


"Oh how rude of me. I know your name but you don't know mine. You can call me Mavis." She spoke softly, as soft as silk.

Mavis sat waiting for this aggressive man to strike at her, she would be surprised if he didn't. Something about him reminded her of her piece of crap, father.

As expected, the man didn't plan on paying for the damage, as expected from a pirate. She mumbled something about him being irresponsible, she didn't care though, he was just a foolish man.  She returned her view to the knocked out man in the corner, she was no doctor, but she could see he was bleeding out the least she could do was patch up his wounded head, to prevent serious blood loss. Raphael the pirate began to get closer to her, she gave a cold glare, as to show she wasn't afraid of the reckless man, if he wanted a fight then so be it, she would fight till death.

She was surprised the man even remembered her name, after his rude behavior, she figured he would throw that over his head, like he did with repaying for the damage. She could tell her was smelling her, he must be intoxicated by her natural vanilla scent. Mavis began to get red when his face was only inches from her. He told her to join his crew, he didn't ask he simply told her to join it, she sighed.

"Well that's not a very polite way to ask." She shook her head.

She then pointed to the broken window and hole in the wall, where he threw the man, worried for his health.

She tilted her head upwards a bit in a lecturing manner. "Besides, why would I join you just caused unneeded damage to a cafe. Then harmed an innocent man! It shows you have no class, and a person of my class shouldn't follow someone so rude, who belittles people around him."

She began to look him up and down as if she was analyzing Raphael. "I can tell you're a big shot. You think your so great, so powerful. You have yet to meet the real big shots of the world." 

"So do I though..." She sighed, realizing her own statement applied for herself. 

She acted all intelligent and high, she too had yet to meet the real big shots, however she only acted way more intelligent then people around her, Raphael acted stronger.

In the average day of Trently, having nothing to do on the island of Yotsuba. The prince went out for a walk wondering on what he should drink due to being in the sun all day without much hydration. Looking around in town he had saw nowhere to get a cold drink of water, he then remembered this one bar which was always lively with people constantly discussing matters and such. As the bar's location seeped back into the prince's memory, he hurried to the bar for some refreshing iced water. Possibly he could get a meal he thought but he knew to not waste all his beli on too many things. Arriving at the bar, it seemed lively and well so Trently went up to the owner and asked for two rounds of some much needed iced water being thirsty and dehydrated of course. Grasping onto his mug with a grin on his face sending himself to the corner table of the bar to relax and just ponder about his imagination. On Yotsuba Island, very few people recognized him as the prince but have knew him as the kid who usually accompanies Raphael. They also knew him also as Raphael's babysitter although he was older than Trently. As the prince was sipping his water he noticed a man be sent through the window into the bar. Everyone evacuated the bar almost instantly, only an odd looking woman and Trently remained. The prince guessed that the man who was thrown into the bar was one of Raphael's victims. Trently had guessed correctly in which Raphael entered through the bar's door beginning to have a conversation with the odd looking woman who he had just heard the name of. Long story short, Raphael had asked Mavis to join his crew which Trently and Raphael had not yet established. The second time Raphael asked, the prince set his mug down onto the table and lifted himself up approaching the two in which he did not have his white cloths on at the time. "Oi Raphael, You can't just ask someone to join your non-existent crew like that!" Trently tells the beast that is Raphael. "You have no education at all, Yeesh you numbskull" Trently ends off with as he puts his hands together resting them on his head while presenting a smirk to the beast before glancing over to Mavis waiting for her response to Raphael's question anyways.

"So... How about it, Will you join our non-existent crew?" Trently Follows up with sarcastically. The prince knowing that they have barely talked to Mavis but going along with what Raphael said to see what direction it may take them into.

Mavis had finished wrapping the mans head leaning him against a wall, as his children ran over hugging him, glad their father hadn't just died from the big bad pirate. Mavis shook her head at Raphael. He blamed the man for touching him.

"Pathetic. I mean you can clearly tell if you wanted you could kill him, if you applied just a little more force he'd be dead or in an intense coma..." She sighed.

He then went onto to saying she had no class, she huffed sitting in her chair she glared at him. She was furious, who was this idiot to tell her about fashion and class, her fucking finger had more class than his life.

She gave him the usual cold stare. . "The 'shotgun' is called a muzzleloader. It's for defense, I'm the person who will be the best sniper around." 

"Oh and this isn't my usual attire!" She inputted, making sure he knew this dress was just for looking pretty.

He claimed that he didn't care about the big shots in the world, she doubted that, pirates usually fight to be on top and it usually ends up most of them dying, but hey it gives them a dream to chase. He then again ordered her to join his crew, maybe him 'ordering' is his way of asking. 

Mavis wasn't the only one that has noticed in this pirate's dumb logic and ways. Then he joined in with Raphael, he asked for her to join their crew! He said it was non-existent, of course... she kind of figured the crew might be in the process of being made. That'd explain why Raphael was shoving it down her throat to join him.

"I am not joining, but I do agree to aid you guys and follow you on your adventures. However. Heed this pirates, I am not a pirate. I am a person who follows my heart and my dreams." She forewarned the men.

She sipped on her strawberry milkshake.

As Trently asked the Mavis if she would join, she told both the boys that she would not join us in our journeys but instead she would aid them in their voyage. Raphael took her response and completely twisted it, forcing her to have to join the crew now due to Raphael's pushy nature. While the prince had finished up what he had to say, Raphael had asked Trently to never talk to him like that again. The prince had began becoming pissed when he heard the response the beast have given him. Raphael attempted to exit the café along with Mavis, Trently simply glared at the Buddha with disgust until taking action himself. As Raphael tried luring Mavis outside, Trently got in close to Mavis's ear and began to whisper lies about the beast before she took action to either stay or go with Raphael. "Pssst, Did you know that Raphael still sleeps with his teddy bear at night while humping a rock?" The prince waiting for her humorous response that would sure to ruin Raphael's reputation as a man. Trently introducing a chuckle as he pulled his mouth away from Mavis's ear, not a trait of being fourteen but instead due to his personality in general. The prince sits himself down in a chair while leaning against a table glancing over at Raphael while showing an devilish smirk toward the beast who is most likely furious with Trently. The prince which is Trently Nefertari was not the kind to let words slide right by him without capitalizing upon it.

He had mentioned that snipers kill, did he really honestly think she was lying about having a gun for protection. What a moron. She refused to make any more eye contact with the fool for the time being. 

Mavis would huff, annoyed. "Uhm. I haven't killed anyone, I more so severely wound people, If I had to kill to survive, I would though." 

It would seem that Raphael ignored that she had said she wasn't join his crew, that she was only travelling with him, but that didn't matter to him that still a yes to him. Both men seemed to take it this way Trently was no better! Hadn't she seen him in posters, as a prince of something? She shrugged it off, but for a 'Prince' he sure was childish.

He then continued to whisper in her ear, she sighed. "I kind of figured, but I'm the the one to tell people what and who they can hump or not. As long as it's not me, I'm good."

She would shrug walking out of the cafe, along with the two dumb asses she decided to accompany. However it still didn't quite make sense to her, how they could twist her words so easily and not have a second thought. Must be cavemen.

"Well where's your guys ship?" Mavis would ask looking at the two, she'd be really disappointed if they didn't have one, she'd probably walk off if they didn't have a good reason behind it.

As Trently had a somewhat lengthy conversation with Mavis, Raphael seemed to not care one bit about the conversation Trently had with Mavis. The prince knew Raphael most likely wouldn't care but he enjoyed messing around every now and then like that. Trently knew the right times to turn serious and when he can joke around, he wasn't that careless with his words as many thought he was. As Mavis began walking out the bar along with Raphael who had just basically seduced the woman into joining the crew. Trently strolling along with the two with his hands dug deep into his pockets while watching the two of them chat about if they owned a ship or not which they did not since they haven't even established their crew as of now. As Mavis and Raphael kept their discussion ongoing, Trently decided to speak up in all serious mind set at the moment. "We'll need a source of transportation if were planning on taking this pirate situation seriously, Lets try compiling enough beli to purchase a lavish vessel that would fit our requirements." The prince mentions to the soon to be lovely couple in which inhabits his view. Although for being foolish and much childish at times, Trently is aware of many things since he had gotten the best education possible as a prince. Remembering his days when he was a prince months ago, Trently inhales and to then sigh while looking down at the floor kicking a pebble which was resting upon the floor.

Mavis nodded at his remark, she wasn't one to play like she couldn't murder someone, she just chose not too. 


"Yea. I just prefer to keep it calm though. Needless murder is the actions of the weak." She had a blank stare.

She had been informed of the two's situation, they had no ship, just small boats, most likely no bigger than rafts. She smirked, she could probably get them off the island, easily. However, it'd be fun to see what these two men had to offer to her, maybe they had power, more than she could possess. The prince then stated they should gather beli to buy a ship that would suit their needs.

"Smart idea." She smiled. "However..." She would carry off into a mumble.

Raphael then stated, that Mavis must be use to getting everything she wanted, she gave a cold dark stare, this wasn't a glare it was more so a blank stare, which a dark expression of pain.


"Actually no. But you don't know me or my past. So just stay out of it, okay, -..." She would raise an eyebrow. "Captain."

She managed to put a smile on near the end.
