General Appearance: Charles is the average height for his age being 5 feet and 7 inches tall. He weighs 152 pounds. He has flowing golden blonde hair with streaks of black in it. The hair stops at his shoulders due to him cutting it every now and then. His eyebrows are sharpened to look like mere lines that go upwards, his eyes are also golden but seem like he has them wide open at all times. He is usually wearing a red coat that has a skull symbol on the back of it that is blue, a pair of black jeans that are streaked with gray and a pair of black sandals. On the outside Charles displays a happy go lucky personality that most would deem as stupid. Sometimes he is considered selfish due to him acting more out of self interest rather than to help those in need. His ego is somewhat quite huge due to him having the position of Shichibukai. This is because he feels like since he is working with the Marines he can do anything. Though he feels this most of the time, he doesn’t take pleasure into hurting people who have not done anything wrong. Above all things he hates all authority figures which most people describe as a bad trait for him due to him working with the marines on different things.
Throughout the seas he is mostly known for his curse words. This is because of being raised on a ship that was mostly full with older pirates who were drunk all of the time. Living on that ship Charles gained his inner personality. Even if on the outside he is a happy go luck person, on the inside it is a whole new deal. In a fight he could care less about it being fair. He would use the land around him in order to gain the upper hand in a fight. When facing pirates he remembers the harsh treatment he had while living on the ship. Due to that he could care less about any pirate whether good or bad which is one of the reasons why the marines chose him as an acquaintance.
Since he has suffered greatly in his early life. Charles is known for being somewhat compassionate for those who also have a harsh life. Even though he hates pirates, those he see that were captured to join a ship to be a slave, he would free them and allow them to return to their home. This is somewhat considered a fatal flaw of his due to him sometimes being tricked. Many people had chose to take advantage of his compassion while he helped destroy pirate ships. Those people who did are hunted by him until he can go no more.
