Guns. The strong sensation of the various different smell(s) overwhelmed the battlefield. The landing for the young marine grunts was not soft by any means. Poison of the dangerous trees erode the ships hull as the military began to unload on the island. Clearing whatever was in front and in behind. An old radio at the center of the ships poopdeck playing Jefferson Airplane. Of course, Spook acted the part and would combat any enemy he encountered during the landing of the crew.

It was bloody, half of the forces that were sent out by the marines were injured/ incapacitated and unable to proceed fighting. Spook luckily was still healthy and uninjured. The ship finally being stopped by the sandbank which made the other navy militants start their siege on the island Gaia. Spook followed up and assisted them as they were sent out in different squadrons. Each had their own specialty, long range combat, short range and some other types that would involve scouting ahead and setting up a defense post. The stench of flammable gas and burning down trees was covering the front part of the island. The island was huge, insanely- huge. At least, that was said by the scouts. 'The size of the blues, all together in one island'.

Was claimed. Spook being skeptical of this, seeing as he's never been beyond the blues. While conquering this island, Spook had plans of his own. He already knew that the marine force that was dispatched had 0% of conquering the island, so why not make it beneficial for him even though the ' grander ' mission of the navy will fail anyway. He knew of a revolutionary scout post in the sector of this island, it's where he wanted to move towards. He suggested that the assault group he was in would split up to scout ahead and flank the further parts of the island and they agreed. So that is what they do, Spook diverted into a stray path towards the outpost which he heard of when a few other marines were spreading rumors on the boat. With his trusted spear at his side he began hunting the area that was mentioned. As night fell the marines withdrew their forces on the part of the island and went back to the sandbank where the ship and camp was. They were setting up patrols for the night, Spook volunteered of course because he wanted to scout the area some more.

It is true. Intellectually inspired characters were exactly what Spook was looking for in his life. The sighting of the first true person was a rare sight for him. Let us illustrate this, you are a ubermensch and you socialize with people that you can classify as untermensch. Suddenly, you are put in a place with other ubermensch', it's an explosive reaction for many. Things got a lot worse a few years ago, the old generation sailed away leaving us all with the new generation. While growing up you learn more things, new things that add onto your life experiences. Of which you can speak from, like a pirate saying, ' Well.. as a pirate I really think that the theorems are compatible with other theorems from the Moden Portfolio Theory, themselves compatible with still other theorems, building a grand theory of consume, save, face uncertainty, spend, and project the future '  That kinda shit doesn't happen anymore. It's all dumb and retarded now. This is where you, as a person chips in, Spook writes in his diary. These days you just find people whacking it to Mein Kampf.

Nighttime hit, Spook still laying in wait as he closed his diary. He was making a journal, he named his own diary ' the meaning of life ', whatever that narcissistic notion that made. Was he gonna use venom? Perhaps a little bite of napalm? His entire strategy revolved around making them scared. The outpost was about one tenth of a click ahead of Spook. He knew that the outpost was in high alert, considering the volume that Spook had brought with his crew. He quickly entered the outpost at the latest moment of the night and slayed the guard at the entrance, leading to the ladder at the back. Spook remained silent throughout most of his actions, not wanting the gentlemen upstairs hearing him. There was only one more soldier, which he combated in a close quarter situation. The result was quite dull. It dulled Spooks spear, it dulled his skin which was grazed. He didn't quite bleed, but his skin was white. Like as if you're running your hand over a meter of gravel. In the outpost he saw letters from coordinates that led to the other part of the island. At this part there was a hidden watchtower. Brilliant, Spook thought and collected the letters for easy access should he reach the tower.

The guard at the entrance of the outpost was still breathing, making witness to Spooks crimes. Spook took any loot that the outpost had remaining.

As Spook ventured further away from his pact he began to notice more and more of the bizarre that was this island. Spooks senses were premium, so- to- say. It meant that his senses were keen and he was alert of what was happening around him at all times. Not letting anyone come close nor near without lashing out at them with his spear. The odd thing about this island was that there were multiple forms of life present at all times. It was the plants, they had life in them. Not like the way Spook was used to, these plants were aware of their surroundings and could interact on a level which humans could notice. Spook also noticed that the life in these plants was stronger at one part of the island, he figured that the strong life led to the core of the island. Which is where the deep wilderness plants lived that probably murdered everything that comes near. Luckily the core of his island steered away from the goal which brought him here. Lurking in the shadows Spook continuously began tracking tracks and signposts that were mentioned in the letters he stole from the outpost a few hundreds meter away. He had raided it and murdered a few rogue soldiers who had set up some of their scouting here. Why they did that remained a question for Spook. It wasn't for him to investigate, wasn't really his business to do so. The task at hand remained that he were to track the origins of his fruit, and he believed that they came from this island.

By being so careless about his ventures, rumors had started to gather about a young pirate who turned and became marine was looking for the fruit of the devil.

Creeping up on the other outpost, Spook could see 2 guard being stationed outside of the outpost. He'd have to take them out of course, in similar fashion of the other guard post. His intent was to letting people know what he was up to, building a reputation for himself. Which was supposed to be nice, at least - that's what he got told by his other higher ranking officers that were using squires left and right to wipe their buttcheeks and fold their clothing. So why not pursue a life similar to theirs? Coming up from behind, Spook drove his long spear into the neck of the first guard. Using the range of the spear to his advantage.

And there he was, the tip of his spear completely through the neck of a previous unsuspecting t2 guardsman. Blood painted the wooden walls of the outpost with red as the guard was gargling on his own blood. Spook used a lethality skill to pile his entire spear through without resistance. It was soundless as well - that is, until the blood started spraying out. Which alerted the other guard and caused him to attack Spook. By using his scimitar as a boomerang the guard managed to wound Spook, luckily for his armor the damage was minimal. It did disable the use of his right arm for a short period though. Which meant that he had to get crafty in order to disable the last guard. And that is what he did, by using the dead guard as a shield he rammed the tip of the spear which stuck out of the dead guard onto the alive one, who had lost his scimitar. The guard managed to block, but by doing so broke both of his wrists. Which wasn't an issue for the guard, because he also had a fair amount of skill in thai boxing. In which he utilized it to get the dead guard of the way and disarm Spook. Which ended up successful. For the guard - Spook had landed in quite a pickle. He was facing a guard whose expertise was kicking. Spook had an injured right arm and no weapon. By swiftly ducking under a few kicks the cheese that Spook was trying to pull off eventually would stop working. Spook kept trying to kick the foot he stood on as the guard tried kicking. But the guard noticed and eventually used his heel to stop Spook in his tracks. The guard, luckily with disabled arms couldn't knock Spook out. Spook grabbed a thin knife the guard had on his hip and used it to disable both his legs as well. The guard wasn't in a life threatening situation, but he was fucked up for a while. Spook once again deciding to leave him alive as he robbed any gear worth beli of both of their bodies and went upstairs once he was ready to fight again. Which wasn't until about ten minutes later. He was getting tired, he couldn't fight on for much longer. At least, not today. Luckily the rest of the compound was empty. He once again took his time researching all of the notes. Comparing it to his old notes he found out that there is a lighthouse just a few nautical miles off the coast from his camp. Was that going to be his next destination? As he was reading over the notes, a rogue soldier stood in the doorway ...

The rogue soldier took the element of surprise and assaulted Spook from the rear. Spook being caught with his pants down was in a bad position: the rogue soldier had a spear as well, the base was made of wood and the tip was sharp steel. Penetrating the side of Spooks armor left a nice hole. Spooks side being stabbed caused him to jolt up instantly and move away to minimize the damage. He moved away from the direction of the stab which resulted in the cut barely being there. Spook held onto the tip of the spear with his hand as he rotated around the tip, the tip away from his body with his own spear. Decapitating the rogue soldier with his own spear by using a strength technique to enhance the prowess of his spear. He also put the upper part of his knee above the spear. Human legs are known for possessing thrice the power of arms. Which he used as his advantage. His spear was an extension of his arm. By using momentum and power the head of the rogue soldier was lopped off like a steak knife going through butter. Spook collected every bit of Intel and left the place, the guard outside was still breathing and took witness to the crimes that Spook had committed. Once back at the camp Spook told the other marines that there were alive plants in the forest and that they attacked him - of course he couldn't let them know about his true objectives. By resting well, Spook made sure that he would be able to continue his adventure tomorrow. Spook fixed up the hole in his armor, it tore through the fabric and not the metal. So he fixed it up by using an old shirt and patching the hole back up by knitting.
