Asher was "home" with his daughter and the woman he loved, Ty'Leanna with their daughter Katalya. It had been some time since Asher was this happy and that feeling was all he ever wanted. From his original aspect of life at least. The young Asher who cared for his family as in Kash, his father and his mother along with his younger siblings was a different man. He had changed much since he grew up and he wanted a lasting legacy now in life and staying here with his family in Minion Island wouldn't grant him that comfort level. His father was recently back in active duty which means he was summoned back to the Grandline and Asher knew soon he would be among those of that level.

But sadly he didn't care about that. His agenda was simple, run the Grandline through the shadows and manipulate the Marines to his own accord without them knowing he even tampered. His goal was achievable and with his ever growing network being what it was along with his physical growth it was clear his path would work. With his sister growing in influence under the leadership of Leparo that added to the Kringle legend that Asher benefited from.

An explosion at the sub level of the castle caused for alarm as Asher and his family were stunned. Debris had shot through the floor of the castle causing Asher to cover his family "Are you okay?" asking his wife the health of herself and their daughter "We're fine"

The disgruntled swordsman would stumble around searching for his swords as the smoke and rubble filled his castle. In came soldiers who had a oddly placed insignia on their helmets. Asher would grab his short blade and proceed to chop each and every one of them down with his anger showing. With each soldier that showed up Asher was confused as to what was going on. Who would signal this attack on him? Making it to the last soldier Asher would save one soldier for last. His entire body covered in their blood and bruises from the explosion "Who sent you" asked Asher with his sword to the throat of the soldier. "It.. It was Oudiro" said the soldier. Asher's eyes narrowed "Thank you"

A swift stab into the neck of the soldier caused him to gag on his own blood. It was the cleanest death Asher could give in the rubble with his daughter and love. "Ty'Leanna, I'll return fairly soon" With that Asher left what was left of his home and set out to the shore where he noticed a large metal ship docked. It shared the same insignia as the soldiers. The snow came down heavy and Asher was about to have a field day with who was aboard this thing. "Long time no see Asher, how are you these days" Asher never cleaning his face still had all the blood on his face "Nice" as he charged at Oudiro.

The clash of those talons against the black steel of Asher's blade made for beautiful noise "Why did you attack me and my family O?" his words made him seem more hurt than anything else and to be honest he as. Asher hadn't thought of Oudiro in years and thought their issues were in the past "Because you are him now. You're what he wanted. A son!" said Oudiro as he began to push Asher back towards the ledge of the boat. Those words reminded Asher of Oudiro's jealousy towards his relationship with their mentor who happened to be the father of Oudiro.

Pushing Oudiro back Asher would remove his coat "You never got over that? What me and sensei accomplished wasn't anything against you Oudiro. You were my little brother. You don't have to become this hateful man." Ever since they were younger Asher and Oudiro both had a strange relationship with their sensei. Oudiro always believed that his father favored Asher but in reality it was the other way around. Oudiro was to blind to see that and took himself to the darkness where he didn't belong. Asher on the other hand tried to stop Oudiro from that darkness which resulted in the death of his sensei at Oudiro's hand. They dueled and Asher had gotten the best of Oudiro but because of the respect held for his sensei Asher never killed Oudiro.

"One of us die today Asher." smiling Asher knew Oudiro wasn't lying "I know" with that Asher released a wave of energy that cut square through the boat cleaving it in half. Some of the engines and wiring would start exploding causing both men to blast off the boat into the sea.

The ocean was nice and freezing at this time of year. Breaking through a patch of ice on the surface floor Asher made his way to the ocean where he would float about until he jumped up and began to make his way back to the surface. He used his sword as a paddle before he was pulled back down by his former friend. Kicking his leg Asher would feel some cold air against his mid section and noticed three slashes across his chest. This idiot was trying his hardest to kill Asher and this was the least of his worries. He was beginning to fade from lack of air until he stabbed down with his sword cutting off the hand of his foe.

He began to swim to the surface where he made a large gasp for air. His silver hair was drenched along with the rest of his body and the blood that formerly stained his clothing was now wiped away. Swimming back to shore Asher noticed he still had a hand rapped around his leg. He would use his blade to pry off the hand leaving it on the snow covered shore. "We aren't finished" said a voice. Turning around Asher saw it was Oudiro rapping his hand with his drenched sweater.

The ship was still experiencing its share of damage, post explosion the damage done to the ocean front was amazing. Yes it was gorgeous but it was devastating how grand the damage scale was. Asher didn't expect such events today, Even though the ship was damaged it was sinking slowly and it was ablaze and that effected the surrounding area. The incoming snow was now black and filled with ashes which Asher would catch in his right hand as he looked on at Oudiro. "Destruction sometime causes beauty.." said Asher as he continued to look on at his former friend

"What are you getting at Ash" said Oudiro "Sometimes, it doesn't. Killing your father was destructive.. and all it did was hurt people" the anger in Asher's voice changed with each passing word as him and Oudiro would start moving towards one another. Their overall battle was reaching its climax and it was evident by both men's bodies telling them they needed rest. Ducking under a jabbing motion towards his face Asher dodged the talon claws before they came scraping across his back causing him to roll away in pain. "Isn't fun when you suffer my pain" said Oudiro as he watched Asher deal with the pain he was experiencing.

Oudiro would lick the blood from his blades as he smiled at Asher. "You taste good mate" said Oudiro before he leaped with his leg crashing down landing in the spot Asher was formerly in. As for Asher he dodge that move and rolled right, when Oudiro's leg came down it kicked a pile of snow in the air which Asher would use to his advantage. He would swing his right leg causing Oudiro to trip knocking him to the ground too. He would let out a rough noise as his body hit the snow at full speed. Standing as quick as possible Asher would try and stab his blade down directly over the heart of Oudiro to which the one handed warrior would roll out of the way and swipe his three bladed talons across the ankle of Asher knocking him down to one knee.

Oudiro would smirk "Gotcha" he said as he stood up and came to deliver the finishing blow on Asher to which he was met by a swift jab of the blade from Asher's into his heart. Asher would smile as he looked up at Oudiro "indeed" the emotions were high between these two and it showed as Oudiro began to cry "Why did this need to happen Asher" the marine didn't quite know what to say. Watching Oudiro cough up blood wasn't quite the few Asher wanted to see "My father didn't have to pick you, but he did" the sadness Asher was dealing with hurt his heart as he pulled his blade out of Oudiro's heart and proceeded towards his home.
