"A two for two special?"
Kaboom! Was the sound that had release Commodore Ba'al from her trained of thought. You see Ba'al wasn't in her right mind she was day dreaming about the current situation of the war . Unfortunately her idea's wasn't true the only thing that was the fact she sat in Captain Seat, and the sound of returning cannon fired had broke her from her trained of though. A couple of lucky cannon shots had hit the deck of the leviathan but none had in harm the ship enough to prevent it from moving. Unfortunately a few marines was hurt due to the initial impact of the irons balls but it didn't stop there it would seem like the pirates were closing the distance between them. The time which the pirates had begin to board the Leviathan, Commodore Ba'al trained of through was that of disappointment in the fleet performance. Undoubtedly it was time for her to stretch her legs, and defend the very ship Rear Admiral Derous, and Rear Admiral Asher didn't bother to do. What was strange was as the pirates begin to board the ship it was one who seem to lead the group of people. Whom was the first to start a commotion, and due to Ba'al location she could make out the fella somewhat. "Hmph." Had escaped the lips of Ba'al as she activated her third sets of eyes known as Kenbunshoku Haki this ability allow Ba'al to sense anyone who is directly in front of her field of vision with the additional ability which allows Commodore Ba'al to feel other people distinctive aura and feeling. This allow the Commodore to sense the most powerful emotion on the ship not to mention the most distinctive , and it was undoubtedly the Jester who displayed the pure enjoyment for killing in general.

“Oh what fun!” was utter from his lips which further confirm Ba'al of her previous hypothesis which made the Commodore single him out as he cut down a couple of marines. It was now time to act the bloody clown had cause enough trouble from this ship, and it was time for him or it to pay up!Unfortunately the Commodore was at the upper plateau near the ship wheel which was a couple of meters away from the ship mast which put her well out of range from the Jester attempt but Ba'al soldiers was in danger. An form what could be seen the clown was heading in the direction of where majority of the Commodore squad was located at, and unfortunately for the marines it was in the general direction of the ship mast.It didn't take no rocket scientists to firgue out which way he was going unfortunately from clown he was in for a unpleasant experience. Ba'al had quickly jump from out her seat in a sudden display of strength, and agility. As she jump up she quickly activated her defensive technique to forge small mini blades across her entire body unfortunately due to her attire which conceal majority of her body these blades couldn't be seen at less you close to her. But it didn't stop there she quickly forge blades along left palm Commodore Ba'al had jump approximately 3 meters into the air just as Jester had released his attack simultaneously Ba'al swipe the air with his left hand horizontally. The result was a single crest air blade that was 5 meters long, and 5 meters wide aim solely at Jester waist. This attack had the power to cut bones, and other materials seemingly easily. As he release his attack he utter ,"Long Shaft!" It didn't matter about warlord whom was in directly behind Jester because Ba'al was sure he could manage. Unfortunately a large number of grunts were about to die a terrible death due to destruction of the mast but all that matter was the success of stopping this clown at all costs.

Ba'al wasn't as open as it seem why? Because her defensive ability should be able to handle the most average attack, and hopefully she didn't draw to much attention to her position.

Asher Kringle
As Asher was prepping himself for battle and set his plan in motion he was stopped before his plan could be executed. He was quite bothered by such a disturbance and wanted to take his anger out on the person who stopped him. There were too many people around for Asher to do something so brazen for such a childish and petty reason. Even then that wasn't enough reason for him to not enact his thoughts. "To stand down. This isn't a battle for ensigns" said Asher as he moved the woman aside and looked at his clone. Extending out his arm towards his clone Asher would await for his jacket that once removed the clone would become one with Asher. Once that was done Asher smirked. "Time to se-" his words cut off by a flying Derous shooting past Asher and the woman marine. It looked like the battle was heating up at an extreme rate. Asher would make his move and politely move the woman out of his way. Looking at his coat in hand Asher would toss it towards the room Derous broke through and move forward without his favorite coat. His two blades, his regular katana attached to his left side and his wakizashi attached to his right side clanked as Asher moved forward. In his right palm a spiral of cinder began to brew that was nearing to rear its ugly head.

The second Asher would come from the darkness of the tunnel into the enigmatic lighting of the battlefield he would directly launch his attack towards his foe, the fool with the clown outfit and whoever was over there. The small spiral of cinder expanded with each passing brush against the deck, with all the commotion on the battlefield Jester wouldn't be focused on Asher nor the little piece of cinder that mixed between foe and ally alike, going as far as to burn those who passed it as it grew, by the time it would reach Jester the cyclone was at its peak, tangling up ensigns and pirates along with revolutionaries on the front portion of the boat. Asher wasn't here to be a hero he was here to stop the entrance of these pirates and revolutionaries.. The World Government cared more about the defeat of Jester than the life of Sanson or anyone else. Especially a red bear who worked for the marines for mere moments. The deck had been ripped through and destroyed as the cyclone had made its way to the revolutionary. This boat was going to sink at this rate.

Linda, and by extension Oka, were rather lucky they hadn’t been one of the many marines that had decided to party at the front of the boat. Not only would they have died via Jester but their corpses would’ve been unrecognizable thanks to the rear admiral who played with cinders. Its hard to miss the spiraling cyclone of doom wreck everything in its path and it’s this moment that Linda comes to the conclusion that Leviathan will sink and she had to act fast if she didn’t want to go with it.

She curses her luck to be on the same boat as people who cared very little about rather or not they killed their allies in their pursuit to destroy the threat but she doesn’t stand around bemoaning her luck. The ship wouldn’t wait for her to finish cursing every god in every religion before being claimed by the sea and so she shouldn’t waste the distraction provided to her via Sanson and Derous and Asher. With the three leading the assault on both Leviathan and the ship that had planked them it would be wise to get off the boat whilst everyone was concerned with not falling to their might.

She quickly grabs Oka by the wrist and heads to the side of the boat not facing the enemy ship all the while going over her options. She has three in this instance. Her first would be to cover the distance between Leviathan and the deceased rear admirals ship with geppo. Not only could she cover the distance but it was also the faster mode of transportation. This would leave her second option - the rafts - for those unable to make the twenty meter gap between the two vessels. She could also take the raft and forgo the risk of being shot out of the sky but it was slower and she didn’t like the idea of being a sitting duck.

Her last option was to take a leap of faith and swim with the fishes. It was slow like taking the boat but the chances of being shot were low when one only comes up for air. However she didn’t know if Oka could swim and she rather not drag the child around if she didn’t have to.

Linda comes to the decision that geppo is the better option. She doesn’t communicate this to Oka at all. Time was of the essence and the girl’s complaints would just waste it. She could cuss her out later but for now she was going to ensure the both of them lived. With that in mind she launches herself at Seishiro’s ship with Oka in tow. She does so at an arc as not to risk colliding with the ship upon her descent. She would release her hold on Oka during the descent in order to ensure she didn’t end up breaking her legs by attempting to stick the landing like an amateur.

Rather or not Oka would know to roll was of no concern to Linda. In her opinion tucking into a roll after a leap like theirs would be human instincts. And if she broke her leg that was entirely the her fault for not listening to that instincts.

Of course, if all went according to plan their presence would shock the marines aboard Seishiro’s ship but they would not be fired upon given how they were easily identifiable as one of their own. If not, well then obviously Linda’s actions would change to accommodate that.

Oka can hardly react when Linda grabs her arm and drags her to the other side of the ship. Nor does she have time to protest when the alcoholic decides that now was the time to get off the ship. She’s, after all, shocked that one of their own could take such drastic measures to ensure a kill. No doubt countless marines were killed in that cyclone of cinder the man had made and for what? Weren’t they all on the same team? Or did ensuring the death of the threat outweighs the lives of everyone aboard the Leviathan?

The princess didn’t know, but she would be allowed plenty of time to think about it after the whole situation… If she lived. Until then, she should probably focus on not breaking bone. With her being an adventurous person since childhood and having fallen from her fair share of heights, Oka knew that tucking and rolling were the best course of action. So, she did just that. Of course, such actions were dependent on Linda not getting interrupted.

Genève is shocked. She had expected many things, but not for the man before her to say that this war was no place for ensigns. She looks prepared to argue this, though he is right since she’s far from ready for this, but she remembers the chain of command and keeps her mouth shut. Instead, she nods her head and salutes the man. She watches him go with no intentions of stopping him, though she would later regret not doing so before heading deeper into the ship to inform others.

When Asher does what he does, Genève has managed to make her way to the back of the ship and so, she’s safe from his actions. Though she has, unintentionally, sent several marines to their death with her warning. Of course, she doesn’t know its Asher at the time nor is she aware of what has occurred. She’s, after all, at the other end of the ship several floors below deck with her only view to the outside world being the circular windows she could fit through if she wanted to. She also doesn’t know that Linda and Oka have abandoned ship.

With Seishiro’s ship being an indication of the height of the ship, Genève would notice that the Leviathan is sinking. There just no other explanation for why the ship didn’t seem as leveled with Seishiro’s as it was several seconds ago. She doesn’t know why, but getting off the boat becomes a priority. She knows that Linda and Oka are with one another and she has no doubt that the alcoholic can rescue the princess. So, the noble thinks about getting her ass off the boat as quickly as possible and she does so via the circular windows.

She doesn’t get stuck, she’s small enough to fit through, and she ends up on the side opposite of the enemy ship. The impact doesn’t kill her, but it does shock her and it takes her a moment to realize that she should start swimming before she’s kicking her legs and swinging her arms as she swims back to the surface for some much-needed air before making the swim, or her version of it, to Seishiro’s ship, which was seventeen meters away, along with some other marines who ended up overboard.

Revolutionary

Revolutionary

Sakuma Aquaflore

Seishiro having been dispensed like a used condom, Sakuma directed his attention back forward on the battlefield, more specifically the Marine affiliated vessel directly in front of his own. It was truly interesting to watch Sanson fight and it would get more interesting as he got enraged at the death of his ally and friend. "Looks like its time to wrap things up." He held out his hand to his assistant who was still standing by and he put a Den Den Mushi in it. Beginning the transmission to all the Revolutionary vessels, he spoke. "Initiate the final maneuver and call this a day!" It'd be evident in the way that he spoke that he was doing something that required physical effort. This action was using his  one hand on his trident to slam the blunt side of the prong against the wooden deck of his ship. This broke the floor boards in a small area near the struck area including where Sakuma was standing. This sent him a single floor lower in his own vessel, the sounds of breaking wood audible through the Den Den Mushi. Landing safely Sakuma would look up for his assistant who was a bit slow, perhaps scared to get a splinter or get gouged by a broken slab of wood. Understandable, but the hesitation costed him his life. From looking down at Sakuma in the freshly made hole, the youth's eyes kept looking over to where Sanson was before they widened at the face of death and he yelled in terror. Sakuma would see a powerful wave for only a moment practically vaporize the fellow as it flew over the hole he created and slipped down. The yell of his assistant being heard over his Den Den Mushi transmission along with the breaking wood and grunts that came with his actions.

Seeing Sanson dispatch a bundle of men with little effort and rage fueling him, Sakuma had got the hint he needed to move. He wasn't aware such a potent attack was coming, but he knew he needed his head on shoulders to keep this mission afloat, so tactical retreat was best.

Back to his transmission. "Sorry bout that . . . little trouble over here, but lets make it happen yeah?." That would be all he needed to say to hopefully start bringing the curtain down on this battle. This vessel that was off to his own ship's left side would begin to move forward. Currently there was only 10m of water between it and Sakuma's own vessel. This amount of space between the two ships woulld be sustained as the ship moved forward allowing for people to maybe jump aboard it as it sailed ahead. The ship wouldn't be moving slow however and if one wished to board the ship from Sakuma's own ship, they'd need to act fast.

From Sakuma's ship's left, the vessel would go straight forward. Its steel body would easily work its way through the deceased Admiral's vessel that was in front of it and it would continue onward towards the stretched mouth of the Grandline. Should it make it through the first ship in its way, it'd be sure to sail around its capsized brother and go straight for Rear Admiral Lilica's ship. The cannon bombardment on said vessel stopping when Sakuma commenced the "final maneuver". Just like it would have done to Seishiro's ship, it'd crash into and sail through Lilica's ship and proceed down the mouth to the Grandline. The halved pieces of Lilica's ship being litter on the walls of the Redline. Both crews of these ships being cut in half would be at risk of dying of course. Should it be because they fell in the water and were swept into the wall of the Redline or some other collateral damage from the crash, they would need to act fast.

The crew of the ship that was moving for the Grandline and anyone that boarded it while it made its move would be directed by assigned Revolutionaries to retreat to the lower quarters of the ship and secure themselves in a room made specifically in this ship for this ship's purpose. Akin to seat belts, the crew would strap themselves in securely and let the violent rapids of the Redline carry them through while avoiding harm from being tossed around.

All the ships in Sakuma's fleet being bigger than most, while the mouth to the Grandline was made wider, the actual passageway was still its standard size. This assault on the mouth of the Grandline gave the ships more room to ride the rapids of the passageway and pick up speed before crashing with the walls of the passageway. So basically this first vessel that would go through would be working to purposely crash into the passageway and force its way through the passageway with the bit of speed it could pick up and widen the passageway with its own body for the other vessels. This ship was a test dummy and anyone with a competent mind would know that. It could still make it through successfully however. Primarily outfitted with steel, the passageway's most durable material present was rock.

"If you're going to the Grandline now get your ass on vessel 1B, because they're going through. Vessel 2B will be next and 1A will be last." Sakuma would say those words through the Den Den Mushi before ending the transmission. These code names were used to prevent the Marines from catching wind of what ship would be going when. It wouldn't be too hard to decipher what was going to happen when since they had lost two ships though.

For those who wished to get the hell out of this mayhem and get to the Grandline now had a choice to make and needed a plan to make it happen. With Sakuma's ship leaving last and currently being dog piled by a load of Rear Admiral's, they wouldn't have it easy.

Figuring Sanson would follow him since he yelled his name all dramatic like before erasing his assistant off the face of the world, Sakuma began to move and activated his Kenbunshoku Haki. Running through the passageway, a few doors to his right and left that lead to rooms for the passengers, he stripped off his seastone vest, opened a door, tossed it in, then closed the door. Why? Because he wanted to.

Anyways, with his Kenbunshoku Haki he went light and settled with 75m of sensory range which covered his whole ship, so he figured he'd be fine with what he had. He noticed Sanson wasn't pursuing him, but that could change so he'd stay alert of his aura, but what really mad Sakuma raise a brow was the foreign beings he sensed towards the back of his ship. Specifically behind the mast that was more than likely totaled by Sanson's assault. That'd really make sailing into the Grandline hard to make happen, but it'd be worked out . . . hopefully. This being's fram illustrated clearly in Sakuma's mind's eye, Sakuma dub it a fishman.

"Calamari?" Below the deck of the ship even if he was vulnerable to be effected by the usage of Haoshoku Haki, should such a thing happen, he was immune. That was a blessing, because he didn't possess the aptitude for such a style of Haki. Eventually coming to a positioning almost right underneath the fishwoman, should she stay on his boat, he'd launch his assault. Her Kenbunshoku Haki exhausted, she had no means of perceiving Sakuma though he was practically right below her. Nothing but a wooden floor board separating the two, Sakuma's steps in the passageway wouldn't echo or vibrate a certain way to ping off a person's presence beneath her, nor would he clumsily let his trident or body hit the ceiling and tip her off. That said, from a position that was slightly behind her Sakuma would simply joust his trident diagonally towards her body to try at piercing her heart, lungs, and other vitals that resided in that area. Should she be struck the Trident would first pierce through her tentacles that were idle on the floor, then upwards through her back, and out the front of her chest. That was in a perfect world. The task was fairly easy, all he had to do was jam straight through the wood and he should be golden. The speed at which he did it would allow for the wooden floor board to be pierced and her tentacles to get stabbed in practically the same instance since they'd be against the floor. Being a big guy, 7'6, and the ship not being crafted to scale with his body, the ceiling of the passageway was only six inches above his head. The length of his trident and reach his arm granted him would allow for his strike to enter the woman's whole body from below, pierce vitals, and kill her with no questions asked. Even if she managed to jump out of the way and only take a partial hit, the trident was like a fork and it would act as a snare to prevent her from retreating less she wanted to rip off a tentacle. For her there was also the acidic strike from the flying Rear Admiral to worry about, such an attack being initiated right after Sakuma would stab at her and coming from her front while Sakuma's attack came from behind her. The downside though was that this careless Marine was potentially harming his ally. Sakuma too, even though he was behind his target was at risk as the poison would begin to eat through the deck of his ship and drip into the floor he was on.

Upon noticing this, he'd run further down the passageway, away from where he came, only needing to travel a total of five meters before the poison wasn't a threat to him. The same would go for the fishwoman should she choose to backpedal to avoid the poison, she had five meters to go, because she was twenty-five meters away from the Rear Admiral who used the poison. Sakuma wouldn't stop there though. Resurfacing onto the deck of his ship, basically the same way he went down, he'd swing his trident upwards using it as a blunt utensil. Smashing the floor boards, he'd jump through the whole he created and land safely on the deck of his vessel with but a few splinters. Again he'd have the whole battle unfolding before him.

So much had happened in relation to the Jester. New assailants from every nook and cranny of the busted ship. Was this the nature of the Marines? Too weak to tackle a foe on their lonesome, so they resulted to triple teaming? Funny enough the Rear Admiral would find he still lacked the luster to shine. His attack retained a small form as it sailed towards the Jester and grew in size gradually, but it'd collide with the Jester's own attack due to the inability to specify when his assault was actually launched. Both attacks diffused, the Jester's attention was drawn towards the one whom prevented him from destroying the mast, but also immediately entered a game of Tug-O-War. A familiar voice from behind him and a Marine female from in front of him in the air. His instincts told him to move in any direction he could, so he tried to do so, but would find with hearing the call from the familiar voice, he felt the thunder of the man's blunt weapon. Cracking his skull open, his mask cascaded with his own blood from his head, before he was cut at the waist to be finished off by the confident marine female. Not even last words, but he did manage to inadvertently save some of his allies along with a few Marines. Falling to the deck of the Leviathan as a corpse in two pieces, the Jester lived with no regrets.

Battle of the Redline (Event) - Page 4 NwGG1Xb

At the moment of popping off the shot at the girl on the cannon, Sturm knew it was time to exit his stage. A bald menace had made his appearance and he was clearing out the fodder that stood in his way. The reasoning for spotting this man was easily seen. He was knocking over men like bowling pins. Upon spotting him, Sturm took aim but noticed that would not be a optimal option. A girthy blade of wind exited the swing path of the bald marine aimed directly at him. It would seem as if time slowed down as Sturm's mind processed. With Omeh at his side he had two choices. This thing was too girthy to parry or try and overpower. He was not outfitted with the technology just yet. He knew when he was outmatched in every shape of the word. He was not a prideful individual, it was too soon to die here. Save himself and his equipment. Or risk his own life to save another, however due to the size of the rifle he would have to abandon it. 'Shit.' This word echoed through his mind as his body already began to move. The gun was tossed to the side and a loud pinging noise erupted from both arms. Air had been absorbed into his arms in a instant. At the same time his body began to glow and it would become clear that he was more than meets the eye. Steam would fire out two large rods that extended out of his back.

In this same moment of activation he would reach back with his left arm as he turned to the left. His foot had already pressed into the wooden deck hard enough to crack it. This is where the other ship was, only a 10 meter gap between the main ship and this one it would be a easy clear. Issue is Sturm had to account for his speed cause he would be coming in extremely hot. Omeh had been within the reach of the cyborg and with a quick motion he would wrap his arm around the lad's torso. It would be a shock to him but with Strum's increased strength and speed Omeh was a paper weight. He pull him in close as a father would to his son. He pushed off with his left foot with all of his might causing the two to launch off the deck of the ship with ease. Towards the railing. They had been in the middle of the ship with a 15 meter dash. Thankfully he had started moving at the point of the bald marines attack and he used every single millisecond granted to him by fate to survive. With his left foot behind he stepped on the railing with his right foot almost crushing it. He pushed off once more before the merwoman would have even gotten on to the deck of the ship behind the two. Thanks to the attack delivered by Sanson. She would have to deal with the issue of the crows nest being blown apart from the bottom. It splinters, and metal would be sent in every which direction. Also the crows nest would be falling in her direction.

They would clear the gap of 10 meters with no issue at all. They would land five meters onto the deck before Sturm slammed his fingers into the wooden deck with his right to slow down their speed. They would slide roughly three meters before coming to a halt. Finger marks could be seen in the hull where Sturm had slid. With the lad in his left arm he made sure he was not lost to the sea. Sturm did not take any chances nor waste time. He threw Omeh to his left and quickly turned to the cannon, a idea had brewed in his brilliant mind. Quickly at the point all of this other action was taking place. Other marines began to swarm the lead revolutionary vessel. He quickly ran over to the cannon that was located towards the front of the ship and grabbed a cannon ball that was sitting harmlessly on a pile next to the cannon. Mind you he would have been clear out of range of the haki being used being roughly 30 meters to the left of Sakuma's ship and at the front of it. Thankfully it was a long ship so he had a lot of breathing room. The haki would originate from the middle of the ship where the crows nest was which meant a 25 meter distance alone from the left closest vessel. Not to mention dodging the shit storm that was the purple wave descending on Sakuma's ship.

Pirates and Revolutionaries would beginning to head down to the innards of the ship. He did not heed the words of the order to go to the bottom. His system had been fully activated and he had one last act to complete before these curtains would come crashing down. He quickly reached into his belt pouch and pulled out two sticks of his special explosive material he created. Such as a time came for them to be used. Plastic explosives that were a nice adhesive and they packed quite a punch. He quickly stuck them to the sides of the cannon ball, molding the clay explosive on sides of the ball. The ship would jerk forward as the they began to move forward. Sturm did not move however thanks to his enhancements. With the cannonball in his left he pulled back with all his might. He did not aim at anyone on the vessel that was the levithan. Instead he aimed for the side of the vessel. The hull to be exact. As the ship he stood on move towards crashing through a marine vessel, he launched the cannonball like a fucking baseball. “This is for making me losing my fucking rifle!” he yelled. The cannonball fired off with the power of a cannon, and to add to such a thing the piston fired in his left arm. The propulsion would cause it to be roughly the speed and strength of a T5 projectile. The ball would cruise through the air at break neck speeds. Everyone would be to caught up in the moment to realize what would happen next. Should the cannonball collide with the hull and the speed it was thrown at. Not only would it pierce the side of the ship the sheer impact would be enough to make the explosives attached to it explode. This would ignite a wondrous explosion that would seal the ships fate. (Roughly 20-30 meter explosion T2) A explosion that would be more than enough to fatally damage the ship's integrity causing water to flood in rapidly. He had one more explosive in his possession but that was for something special. He would only laugh like a mad man as he pulled his present from the sheath. The ship would now smash into the marine vessel. He did not faulter, only drove his large clay-more into the deck of the ship.

Now Sturm's madness had began to leak out a unwavering crazy that would only make him laugh as the curtains fell on this show. He would pull the sword from the deck as the ship smashed through to cut through any debris that came his way. He was alone at the front of the vessel, but he kept a watchful eye for any who may come onto the vessel. Anyone who was in reach of his claymore felt its cold steel. He would cleave through anyone or anything that came in range. His body gave off steam as his system was in full swing.

The rapid ways of destruction flowed under the boat , as some parts of the water began to turn reddish then fading back into it's original color due to multiple bloody corpses being flung over board leaking into the blue. Various events overwhelming unfolded as the battle that had taken place to the Rookie ship slowly made it's transition to the deck of Sakuma's Main vessel. This man who resembled that of a bald eagle , Sanson had boarded the pirate vessel. Mostly everyone would know of this man , he who took part in the battle against the pirate king. Upon coming aboard he'd release a girthy wind slash that caused Jaden to switch up his tactics , as his previous intentions were to clash with the next opponent to cross the vessel. It'd be death if he'd engaged as his equipment was not of the same variety as his.

Being directly behind Sturm , he known things were getting heated seeing as he'd began to move also. Evading the attack , it collided with the area that Sakuma had resided. With the vanishing of the blast , and the destruction of the mast a scream could be heard , though it didn't sound like Sakuma. Even before the hit , he'd come onto the Den Den Mushi and announce the Final Phase was to be commenced. With the ship to our side finally beginning to move after being inactive for most of the battle , it made it's way passing our location about 10 meters in difference. Sturm would leave his gun and secure Jaden tightly not allowing him to escape his clutched. "But...your rifle" , he'd mummer a few words only for Sturm to hear. He'd taken the option of saving Jaden , and leaving something precious to him. Jaden was in his debt as of now , and he'd do well to repay it off. Upon landing on the other vessel , he'd slow down using his free hand that exposed that he wasn't a human , he was indeed a mechanized warrior. Jaden was free , as everyone began to run under the deck into the rooms securing themselves. With his mask still on , and his blade in his clutches , standing in the doorway watching Sturm , be Sturm. He was waiting for him to come on even if it was the last minute. Holding the door for anyone else who'd come on board and as he waited for his ally. "Let's Go!" , he'd yell as they passed the previous ship they'd been positioned on as Sturm would throw a cannonball upgraded with more explosives that'd definitely to damage rather it be a counter , or contact with some sort of surface.

The ship would set course into ramming the furthest most ship on the left , crushing through the middle creating a path way to along side the capsized submarine vessels. They'd pass the remaining submarine that was hosting a battle between a Rev and Rear Admiral.

Lilica was quick, a trained marksman, or maybe markswoman, regardless, she was fast. Unfortunately for her, Cyrus wasn't a normal swordsman. His sheathe was also his weapon. It was not worn, but carried in his opposite hand. So when the vacuum of wind pulled the bullets away from his head and towards his sheathe, aka the cane, it did not go towards his abdomen or any real vitals but instead towards the cane in his left hand. The bullets would sail harmlessly away from his head and other vitals. The path of the bullets being distorted made them far less accurate than normal and rather than being pinpoint on the sheathe, they simply flew in the general direction of the sheathe. Cyrus was still hit, a bullet puncturing the top of his left forearm and continuing through. It thankfully missed the bone and was a through and through, meaning he'd most likely be able to recover from it later on. For the time being however, it hurt like hell and he had little use in his left arm aside from being able to keep a grip on the rest of the cane, but even that sent bolts of pain up the entirety of his wounded arm. Had the bullets struck him in the leg, torso or truly just about anywhere else his attack would have come to a dead stop. Luckily his left arm wasn't exactly needed to barrage Lilica with a flurry of slices aimed at her various appendages as well as vitals like her neck.

Regardless of the state Lilica was left in after his attack, Cyrus would continue walking past her and back into the crowd of Revolutionaries and Pirates. He would lose himself among the chaos, but would watch Lilica intently out of the corner of his eye. Resheathing the hidden sword back into its cane was painful work with his injured arm. He grit his teeth and transferred the cane to his right hand, allowing the left one some reprieve from work. He'd have to make a tourniquet once he reached below deck.

The sound of grinding metal cut through the din of war as the Revolutionary ships began to make their move for the Grand Line. Having been preoccupied with Lilica, Cyrus hadn't noticed that the men on his own ship had begun to prepare for their attempt at Reverse Mountain. Lilica's ship was still blocking the mouth of the entrance, but after the artillery fire and collapsing rock walls striking her ship, it wouldn't take much for ship 1B to cleave the vessel in two. As this happened, Cyrus could feel his own ship move beneath his feet, it was time to go. He made his way towards the open stairwell in the middle of the deck that would lead below, where Pirates and Revolutionaries alike were already beginning to venture down.

Rear Admiral

Admirals
Admirals

Rear Admiral
Timer starts at 12 noon August 27th. Western Pacific Time of course. Feel free to post before the timer starts.

Lilica: One of her bullets successfully hitting the swordsman, she'd assess the damage she had sustained and see he came out on top in the altercation. That's as far as ground combat was concerned however. From the skies she certainly had the advantage and felt she'd be able to dispatch this problem child then finish off the ship. However the happenings called on by Sakuma wouldn't allow for her to pit her focus into such matters. Talk of entering the Grandline had her a bit skeptical until she saw the first vessel begin to move straight towards Seishiro's ship. "They're going to ram their way through?" She lightly bit her bottom lip in a stressed manner, looking down at the swordsman. "I'll have to enslave you another day cutie pie." She wasn't in much a condition to keep fighting anyways. Her leg wound wasn't looking too hot, but as a Rear Admiral she had a rank to live up to. 10m high in relation to the deck of the ship she was just on, she'd fly as fast as she could to a position between the Leviathan and Seishiro's ship that had yet to be rammed. "Everyone get on Sanson's ship, they're going to run right through the Leviathan!" The one who snatched the little girl and was moving to Seishiro's ship would be alerted halfway through her travel and hopefully that girl below the quarters wouldn't jump out the window if she heard Lilica's command. Sadly the chances of that were low since there was still the roar of battle going on. She'd be dripping blood, fairly fatigued from her encounter with the swordsman. Breathing heavily she'd see a lone man onboard the Revolutionary vessel, the ship having yet to collide with Seishiro's ship. He was roughly 10m away on a horizontal plane, but only 5m below her as she had lowered her altitude. If he were to look at her, she'd have the Leviathan to her left and Seishiro's vessel in front of her albeit off to her right a bit. She had no clue what his intentions were, but she'd unleash her final attack on him. "Die you piece of shit!" She had twelve shots total having reloaded her pistols and all would be aimed at this man who held a cannonball in his hand. She wasn't a knock off marksman and the distance between the two wasn't anything challenging. Should a single bullet hit his cannonball it'd cause it to detonate in his hand and easily obliterate the poor fellow. He'd of course have to worry about his own safety as well. After her shots, she'd launch one final attack, a Rankyaku wave that would sail horizontally at the man's chest. It wasn't much considering the distance and speed at which it moved (T2), but it was all the gas she had left in her tank.

Feeling as if she was losing consciousness, she'd float her way sluggishly to Sanson's ship. Her vision getting blurry as she did so and as soon as she was sure she was over the ship, she'd stop flying, dropping 5m to fall on Sanson's ship. The damage she'd sustain wouldn't be too bad, a few bruises, but she'd be out cold.

Sanson: Driven by the blazing flames of rage, Sanson had heard his fellow Rear Admiral above him, but didn't pay much mind to him. His attack however was something that couldn't be ignored. Sanson's primary target having fled the ship and made it onto one that was beside to Sakuma's, Sanson took a single step in that direction, but he halted himself. It was true that person was Seishiro's murderer, but that wasn't what this mission was about. It was about halting more pirates from entering the Grandline. "Rear Admiral Derous if you have the ability to, halt that ship. I'm going for Sakuma!" The hole in the deck the snake had made was behind Sanson given Sakuma was standing at the bow of his ship. His body still fully armored with Busoshoku Haki, he'd hop down the opening in the deck with his axe. "Sakuma! At least have some honor and face me like a man!" His face would echo down the steel corridor and surely reach the ears of Sakuma who was in the same hallway. Cautious as Sakuma could be behind the doors of any of the rooms that lined the hallway, Sanson activated his Observation Haki. He wasn't too skilled in this style of Haki, but a range of 50m was good enough for him to use his Haki to scan the area ahead and see no one was in the rooms, but someone was up ahead.

"Even the Devil has to come to terms with the punishment he deserves!" Sprinting down the corridor towards Sakuma, he'd be mindful of his axe's size and keep it in front of him as to not let it collide with his surrounds and end up harming him from bouncing off or something silly.

Ren: His blow on the Jester landing and stunning the clown into a trance of motionlessness, he'd see a young Marine had also launched an attack at the Jester. Jumping to the side which was out of the way from the air wave she had sent at the Jester, he'd growl not only at her, but at the Marine who launched the attack the Jester's own attack unintentionally diffused. "You Marines need to learn how to fight along side comrades." Though the casualty count was kept to a minimum because of the Jester's attack, the Marine had still roasted a few Marines and left burned corpses on the ship. "Despite my background, I still know how to fight without harming my allies. Should I feel threatened by your presence again, I won't hesitate to attack. As a Shichibukai I rank above both of you pawns." Ren would be speaking to both the Rear Admiral and the Commodore, both foolish in their own right. As a precaution as he knew he wasn't the most trusted amongst the Marines, he'd activate his Kenbunshoku Haki to keep tabs on those two. It'd only give him a shallow 50m of sensory, but he'd still be able to detect an attempt on his well being.

"Everyone get on Sanson's ship, they're going to run right through the Leviathan!"

Those weren't his words, but the words of the other Rear Admiral on this battlefield, Lilica. His attention would shift from her back to the two previously addressed peons in front of him. Finally he'd look towards Sanson's ship, but a 10m gap to clear, he'd get took greedy strides to pick up speed before jumping with enough force to clear the gap. Once he landed he'd turn to face the Leviathan. Marines aboard Sanson's ship throwing out life rings that floated even in these currents to those who were foolish enough to jump over board as well as extending planks tot eh Leviathan. Though no one would have the capacity to really swim much of a distance to the life rings, if they could just manage to grab it securely, the multi-men team that were gripping the ropes of the life rings would be able to pull people in against the current. "Looks like we're running a retreat . . . Typical." Ren shook his head, but then looked at Sakuma's ship to see that a fair amount of damage on the Revolutionary side was sustained as well. Nonetheless, at the end of the day it looked like the Revolutionaries would have this battle given they'll be able to make it through to the Grandline unless something completely tide changing should happen.

It had been decided once Derous had arrived upon Sakuma's Ship that everyone aboard would perish; and that went for any marines, specifically Sanson, aswell. Though, there would be a slim chance some may espace Derous, for now. The slaughter would ensue once Sanson took his first step, striking immediately as he did so.  Derous who was above, seventeen meters, but at an slight angle, and four feet behind Sanson. If you looked at them both from the front you though would think Derous was directly above Sanson. He did virtually arrive at the same time Sanson had. Just when he had been when first coming onto the battlefield the majority of his attention was on the fellow Rear Admiral, Sanson. Glances at his surroundings here and there to make sure that he wouldn't be struck by some strange attack, or stray one.

It didn't even take him a second to move his right hand into position and even less to coat it in his desired poison; as he was already covered in the substance and all he had to do was increase the intensity of what he wanted to fire outward, which was simple to him. He didn't aim directly at Sanson's head, as he wasn't close enough for a straight shot. Instead Derous would aim just a bit higher; able to fire at the right height for the attack to hit right on target from the drop it would take. The 40mm sized bullet poison though once fired would be of a dark purple, leaning toward black. With his hand pointed at Sanson he would fire five shots. Keeping his arm steady and straight so that each bullet would hit on target. The corrosiveness of the bullet taking effect on contact eating away at whatever it was that came into contact.

When this attack would make contact, if not intercepted or missing somehow, would be when Sanson first began to bark orders; before his first sentence toward Derous had ended. It would be, honestly, impossible for anyone to alert Sanson to the incoming attack. Not many here were even capable of tracking such a speedy attack. As even the motion of Derous moving his arm, well hand, wouldn't be seen that easily due to the poison all around him. Added to the chaos that swallowed this whole battle. From the attacks on and at the Leviathan added to a sudden shift, that would happen not that long after the attack, that could only mean the last push was happening. Derous knew that Sanson was clad in Haki, albeit not proficient in the mystical technique himself, was confident his attack would bypass the defense. And even if someone somehow would toss something in the way if it was able to stop the attack in it's tracks the bullet would eat through it and continue to it's target. Also, due to Derous being behind Sanson and his Hydra active a shadow was chasted over Sanson, so he wouldn't be able to see the attacks flying at him from behind. The other nail in the coffin was the failure to active his Observation haki before the attack which would've given him some form of way to sense this malic that came toward him.

This was the perfect and probably the last chance Derous would even have to ensuring he would be the next to claim command of this task. Well, not this one as failure on the Marine's side was imminent. But Derous had his eyes further ahead on the Future. All of that though will be spoken on later.

Regardless if the attack landed on Sanson or not Derous would quickly flap his wings to increase his distance from the deck of the ship by twenty-one meters. As he ascended he had one of his Hydra Heads extend to their max length, upward, and would then quickly engulf himself within it. This was so that he would be farther from everyone, a precaution for if he didn't kill Sanson in one go and also to unleash the rest of his attack. He had only fired five shots at Sanson but he still could fire thirty-five more, and he would. Fire in random directions at Sakuma's ship. The goal was to have this poison rain down in different areas o the ship so that it could spread in more directions. Though this ship was impressive it still would succumb to the corrosive poison. Maybe it wouldn't sink right away but it's fate was sealed, aswell as anyone else that was still on the ship. That wasn't his only reasoning, as if he wanted kills he would go for the smaller enemy ships that would be more easier to get into the GL. This large ship, even if damaged from this battle(not including Derous' attacks), would be of great use to the Revolutionaries if it reached into the GL.

If everything Derous planned to do was successful, killing Sanson(without being noticed) and spreading his poison on the ship, he would begin to make his way over to Sanson's ship. And only descending from his height when he was right above the ship, as he did so he would also bring in all of his Hydra so that it wouldn't harm those on the deck of the ship. Only landing on the ship if nothing was happening to it like what had and was happening to the  Leviathan.

He would walk over to the unconscious Lilica, who was being treated at the center of the ship near the mast. "How unsightly. ATTENTION! make sure everyone knows we are just gathering who we can so that we can retreat. If you can save them make sure you do, we've lost too many people today we don't need to lose anymore." He spoke calmly but loud enough so that everyone on this ship would hear him. He wouldn't look at Lilica for that long but focus on his surroundings. Though no enemy was on board Sanson's ship didn't mean one wouldn't come to make sure their allies could escape. As he would quickly and without haste fire the head of a Hydra at them from his left arm, as his mode wasn't deactivated he just withdrew his poison for the time being.
