Well Mercy was right... An entire day had passed and it was the dead of night. Raine would see the new island and would be kind of astounded at the sight of it... It was way bigger then little old Jaya! He was just... Speechless... The whole island was well lit and hell their were tons and tons of ships... They docked at a random pier and he was led into the city of Water Seven!
Mercy kept him on the objective... She had intel where the Queen's Anne Revenge was being held so obviously they made a beeline toward the dock holding Jolly's supposed wonderous ship... They got there awhile later and what would you know... It was one hell of a fancy ship... It being the middle of the night, getting onto the Queen's Anne Revenge was simple enough. So now all he could think was... Where was this Zed?
The boat was still and everything was quiet... Sure it was normally bed time but their wasn't a sentry or anything. This is supposed to be a naval ship, so what? No sentries or anything... He looked onto Mercy and whispered a bit. "Mercy? What do we do now? Any idea where this Zed could be? I think he would be in the heart of the ship... or in a near by lodge... What do you think?" He just had to much on his mind, quicker he could get this done, the less stress would be on his shoulders...
Mercy would look over to the man and let out a slight sigh. "I'll take the bet the rat would be hiding on the ship... Scan it... Just bind him... He's wanted alive and in one piece." She would say with a serous tone as she disappeared into the ship and the navy men that they docked with, started stationing themselves on the ship. Raine nodded and he would go off into ship as well.
The inside of the ship was rather... Majestic... It had beautiful woodwork and every panel had a purpose. He could seriously appreciate the craftsmanship of this beauty of a vessel! Oh right he was in the middle of a man hunt! He went through each room and hey look how weird... Empty room after empty room... What the hell... He had an eerie chill run through his back. He finally found it! The Captain's Quarters! Their was an almanac in the room and he had to check this out. He read through it a bit and finally explained the emptiness of this ship... It was scheduled for a wood polish! Huh... That was kind of a let down.
He closed the almanac and just wondered where this Zed was. Then he heard a yawn from behind him and heel turned in an instant. The captain's bed had a large human shape lump in it. A man sat up and oh will you look at that. "Man what time is it? The wood polishers here? I know I ain't supposed to be on the ship but... you... know..." The man was slowly waking up and rubbing up the sleep out of his eyes. "You're not the wax people... are you?" Raine rushed the man man and unsheathed his blade. He jumped on the bed and held his momento to the man's throat. "Stay quiet or your blood will spill..." The man froze up and Mercy rushed into the room. "Oi! What's going on in here!?" Raine had the man by the throat, his sword touching the man's throat.
He dragged the man out of the bed and cleared his throat. "This him?" Mercy smiled menacingly and put her finger on the man's lip. "Why hello Zed... Let him go, he's my underling... Zed, get sailing we're going to Jaya... " Mercy threw Raine a look and Raine sheathed his blade a little embarassed. He realized he was gravely mistaken and Zed could only look with contempt at the man. Zed headed to the dock after passing Mercy the keys to the cabins of the boat. Raine went to the deck of the ship and they immediately set sail. Man was this awkwad... The sun was still not up so they still had time before dock workers would come up and notice this ship sailing away. Hey this wasn't so bad, now it was just get back home. Raine watched as Zed took the wheel of the ship and they were off into the sunrise. Raine could only smile as Mercy got back onto the top of the ship and approached the man. "Well a pleasure to see that i didn't have to kill you my fine young man!" Raine could only smile nervously as they faded off into the day.
