The grizzled veteran wasn't at the best of his ability right now. He wasn't dead but he wasn't quite alive either, the best way to describe Asher right now was in both mental and physical stasis. The man had experienced a great ordeal of pain in his recent journey and he had no clue if the pain was worth it yet. He was still having a hard time breathing as he hadn't swam in quite some time. He was gasping for air on the streets of the badlands. His body under his soaking wet shirt was riddled with various stab and bullet wounds. He hadn't been this defeated by life in awhile. It reminded Asher of his first time dealing with those men in his native land of Minion Island. For now he continued to lurk in the shadows as a means of keeping a low profile and making sure he made it to his destination in one piece.
He had been traveling through Jaya for awhile through this night with the drizzling of the rain. He wasn't going to make it anymore and his body was beginning to shut down. A few more steps would see Asher collapse on the ground directly in the puddle in front of him. As he was there laying on the ground Asher began to lose his vision as his eyes closed. What was about two hours later felt like mere seconds as Asher opened his eyes for a mere moment and saw a woman taking care of him. This woman was gorgeous and someone to be feared but it wasn't an enemy. The blank expression on her face along with her black outfit and violet hair. It was clear who it was.. Mercy the Rear Admiral of the marines. Created by Asher to be his eyes and ears just in case he began to lose favor within the marines. "I see you're finally beginning to wake up Asher.. It's good to see you master" Mercy's tone was soft as she spoke to the man she referred to as Master. Barely able to open his mouth Asher would begin to speak "No need to be so formal Mercy. It's good to see you"
