An unconscious body could be seen from a distance on the Island of Ilusia. It was here that Ike D. Souji would come to and frantically looking around on the beach. He had no memory of how he got here, but the last thing he remembered was being on Karate Island in the South Blue. As he tried figuring out how he got here his belly started to rumble something fierce. Once his stomach hit empty and became much harder for him to logically think of an explanation for how he got here. The dreadhead pirate kicked up to his feet as he tried to massage his stomach to resolve some of the pain, "I need meat!" he hollered before leaving walking off the beach and towards the city. Ike wore black jean shorts that cut off right at his knees, blue tinted collar button shirt with two sky blue “X” marks on opposite ends of his chest, his signature sandals and his mother's stitched black tube hat that had authentic patterns with the color schemes: red, green, and yellow. While entering the city the ebony pirate was hit with a immense force: his breath deepen, he started to see visions of what seemed like a crew he once traveled with, oddly enough he could hear all the voices, and the recollections of those memories ended with him sweating and trembling. Minutes gone by as he gained his composure he remembered one crucial fact, "my ship!" he exclaimed in a worried tone as he ran through the city towards the docks. Taking any twist and turns he could to maneuver through the city and its people. It was as if he been here before. Shortly reaching the docks, Ike, instantly noticed his ship out of all the others, "Cloud Nine!" he stated with enthusiasm. He climbed abroad his Vessel looking around making sure everything was there and was in order, but this was cut short by Ikes' growling stomach.

"Food! I need food", his stomach pains began to intensify and it was just his luck that his ship had no food, so he would need to stop by a restaurant. Walking off his Ship he walked back towards the city to find a place to eat or else he would keel over. While searching for place to eat he noticed many of the city goers seemed different than most other cities; it was as if they were being oppressed or they were distraught.  Finally stumbling upon a diner Ike found a seat and ordered a very big meal to satisfy his abnormally large appetite. While seated he was able to pick up on the chatter that was going on in the restaurant; the main topic was a man by the name of Erik and his terrible group of men. While the pirate was ear hustling on multiple conversations the waiter arrived with a plate full of meat and cup full of water. It didn't take long for him to switch gears and immediately start digging in, "Mmmh, so tasty!" It's been to long since Ike had a good meal. He scruffed down the first plate, but he was greeted by another plate that the waiter had brung right on time. Plate after plate Ike devoured as the waiter started to show signs of fatigue. This only drew attention for the pirate as onlookers started to make comments like: "is he bottomless pit?", "how is he able to eat so much?", "who is he?", and etc. One man who was sitting nearby was curious enough to ask, "The names Ike D. Souji and I am going to be the Pirate King" he replied boldly and without hesitation. Everyone in the room was quiet for a brief moment before it was filled with laughter and livelihood. They couldn't take him serious, but that was alright because Ike was use to that. Shortly after the diners atmosphere changed a man from outside came in screaming that a man was being brutally beaten and he need helps quick. Seeing this as a chance to avoid paying for his meal Ike rose from his table and walked outside of the diner.

Once stepping outside the diner there were three men beating up a man that was huddled up in the fetal position trying to protect himself. Taking the opportunity that they gave him Ike charged them and once he was about two meters away from them he whipped his leg out as it stretched far enough for him to hit all three of the goons. The impact of his attack cause two of the goons to fall over a few feet away; the more scrawnier goon flew into a nearby building that was behind him. He crashed through the wood building with one half of his body sticking out. The more built goons climbed to their feet shocked at how he was able to strike them from that distance, but that didn't matter as they charged the ebony pirate. Ike ran towards them to with a smile on his face as stopped when he was a few feet from them. Utilizing his stretching he launched his fist forward repeatedly, and as they increased in speed they became blurry and gave off the illusion that he had many arms. "Gomu Gomu no Gatoringu", his fists went off like a machine guns as he struck them again and again. This resulted in the goons being knocked out with many knuckle imprints all over their bodies. Many people looked on with shock as they froze for a second but then immediately cheered on as Eriks' goons were easily defeated. The man who was being beaten eventually stood up as he thanked Ike, "My name is Greg thank you for saving me. May I ask who are you?" The tan skinned man said with gratitude as the people continued to cheer. "No problem Greg, I am Ike D. Souji and I plan to the King of Pirates", he replied with his goofy smile. Greg was distraught for a moment because he felt it was to much to ask of someone, "Ike I know this may sound like a lot to ask of but can you defeat Erik Stonheart? Him and his man have been terrorizing us for a very long time." It seemed like Greg was going to rumble on about his situation, so he cut briefly interrupted him, "sure" Ike replied happily. "His man attacked me because I owe him money for trying to save my family and ….", it was at this moment Greg realized he had already said yes. He bowed deeply and thanked him as he had tears streaming down his face. "You gotta show me where there located though", he had no idea were to look either so he would need a guide; Greg nodded in agreement as he started to show him where they are.

While walking to their lair Greg had explained that the reasoning the Marines haven't bothered with Eriks' group is that they're more concerned with the revolutionaries. Which explained why a majority of the townsfolk seemed gloomy when Ike first came into town. Ike never liked Marines but he never would see himself doing their job, but if it was to help this town that fed him well he was willing to do it. Finally arriving at Eriks base and it looked like any regular building except it was about four stories tall and made of stone concrete. The plan was to use Greg as a decoy to get and get to the second floor since he owes Erik money in the first place. Once that worked he would need to get to the fourth floor here Erik was at and kick his ass. Walking into the building it was like a office with their very own receptionist who let Greg and Ike inside since Greg was a previous client. After climbing up some stairs Ike and Greg made it to the second room; peeking through the door to the second floor Greg saw the guards they were equipped with swords and guns. He silently closed the door and informed Ike on what he saw, "Thank you now wait outside for me it's going to get dangerous" he smiled as he gave him the thumbs up.  While Greg ran downstairs, Ike, walked into the second floor room cracking his knuckles. The guards alarmed by him questioned who he was and to state his business, "I am Ike D. Souji I plan to kick Erik's ass". The guards immediately rushed him in groups. Ike was more than capable of dealing with the weaklings as he used his fruits ability to augment his punches and kicks. One by one they fell as one of them used a baby den-den mushi to call for backup from upstairs. Ike was able to take down five before ten more from upstairs showed up. That left him with twenty-four guards to deal with as they surrounded the rubber pirate, "we got you surrounded give up" they demanded but this only made Ike grin.

The large group of guards had their guns and swords at ready as they waited for Ike's response. However, the rubber pirate jumped high into the air as he used his stretching to wrap his arms and legs around his self as he almost resembled a rubber ball in doing so. "Gomu Gomu no Hanabi", suddenly his stretched limbs rebounded in a flurry of punches and kicks going in every direction in the room they were in. His feet and fist bounced back and forth hitting every enemy in its path. Groans and wails echoed through the floor as the guards dropped steadily; by the time Ikes' feet touched the ground all the guards were defeated. Hoping that them screaming didn't alert Erik the young pirate left the second floor and ran upstairs past the third floor to the fourth. Reaching the highest point of the building Erik sat in his chair with a delight look on his face, "so you’re the man who beat up my men and here to defeat me? " he then chuckled as he stood to his feet stretching. "I hope your able to entertain me" the bandit boss stated as he was in his fighting stance. Ike said nothing as he ran towards Erik while stretching his right arm back, "Gomu Gomu no Pistoru" his right arm shot fired towards Eriks' face but since he was some distance away he was able to dodge. "What an interesting ability", he grabbed a hold of Ikes stretched arm and pulled him towards him, "to bad it's riddled with weaknesses!" He then delivered a powerful punch to Ikes' face launching him towards a wall that was several meters behind him. The impact knocked the air out of Ike as he gasped from hitting the wall; moments later he popped out from the wall a bit dazed. Erik took the chance to ran at Ike with his spear in hand, "this is the end kid" he delivered a frenzy of thrust strikes with his spear in the hopes to impale him. However, had enough time to adapt and dodge a majority of the strikes although several of his strikes nicked Ike on his face and body. This left a variety of cuts that varied in severity but this was nothing new to Ike so he was able to shrug off his injuries.

Erik then quickly flickered his spear to distract him and then hit him with the blunt part of the spear though it did not damage it caused him to fall to the floor. Before the bandit boss could pounce on him, Ike shifted his body weight to one side and kicked Erik with his right foot while stretching it sending him several feet into the air. While was in the air Ike stretched his dominant arm back while twisting tightly. Right when Erik started to fall back to the ground the dreadhead pirate was there to connect his punch to the lower torso, "Gomu Gomu no Raifuru" his fist made contact. When his fist made impact he felt a few clicks from his hand which could've meant he cracked a few ribs with this move. The impact cause Erik to spin around in place shortly before being flung through the buildings stone walls  and outside of their base. Luckily there was several stores close by to break his fall but his body would pay the price as it would be banged with many broken bones from colliding into and damaging a considerable amount of infrastructures. His breathing started to become heavy as he walked through their base grabbing anything of value and storing it into one of their chest so he could carry it out. Walking out of the building with a huge hole in it he was greeted with a crowd of cheers as the village people hoisted Ike up and cheered in his name for defeated Erik Stoneheart.
