Reina withdrew the blackened blade from the man's shoulder, the sound of rended flesh resounding in the dead silent the lobby. He fell to his knees, covered in burns and blood which erupted from his wound. She caught him by the shoulder and knelt down to tie his hands behind his back using his own ripped shirt to do so. Although it was probably overkill to do so as he was on the verge of death regardless if she left him to bleed alone or if she made him walk with her. She lifted him by the arms and guided him to the wall she was told was hollow. Upon reaching it she asked, " You sure this is the right one"? Her hostage gave a weak nod and sure as sky was black at night, he wasn't lying. She knocked on the surface a few times to hear a dull reverberation on the other side. The material was light, a mere layer of stone no more than a few inches thick. One she dispatched handily with a couple of abrupt x shaped slices. She pushed the remaining pieces aside as she pulled her hostage along for the ride. They both descended a dark stairway lit by light dials. The man however, did not make it far as he collapsed half way down. Reina checked his pulse, but alas he was gone already. She continued on with what he said in mind, aware of the fact that more ciphers were waiting for her.

Upon reaching the end of the corridor she was met with a giant cavern built into the very mountain that water 7 is. Giant tunnels branched from the cavern's interior which essentially were made for sea traffic to come and go. It was essentially a small port with warehouses and workers of its own. People of ages were in shackles as they transferred goods to and from the massive rowboat galleons bringing things in and out. In the distance reina saw brightly colored fabric which was stripped and seemed to stretch out the length of a ship's mast. All around were guards standing about, passively threatening the slaves with rifles at the ready. Reina's eyes glowed faintly, the air around em started to dance like heat from a fire. The world started to flood her senses and all became clear to her. The grunts who had their rifles trained onto the blood soaked demon approaching them didn't pose a threat for the most part. Although they did try to fire at her, the bullets did not ever come close to meeting their mark from afar. The red head placed her hand on the hilt of her katana as she neared the nervous soldiers, danger starting to send alarms throughout her as she charged forth starting to cut and parry bullets left and right.Like a demon her blackened blade now permanently stained with the blood of her victims. The grunts tried to form up and defend themselves, but it was only a matter of getting proper footing before reina could destroy their steel blades without breaking a sweat. Her movements when surrounding them were erratic and broad, sending wild swipes every which way to skewer the guards.

Under the cover of the chaos came the ciphers once more. Her sword clanked against a man who snuck up behind with soru, but he was able to twart her attack by hardening his skin with soru. He seemed to be prepared for her while he slid away from her. Up from above another sprung out with a net gun, firing it at an angle in which reina dodged with a forward lunge. She ran her index finger across her blade as she fast approached the first attacker, flames followed in its wake.  He tried to retreat, but she caught up to him when he believed she'd be captured by the net and slashed upwards, tearing through torso and setting him ablaze.  Other ciphers kicked the air sending blades flying at her,but she was able to user her empowered sword to slice through the only windblade which endangered her.  As it dissipated into air and sparks, others came forth trying to overwhelm her with numbers.

They were were wearing festive animal shaped masks, each sort of being what you'd expect them to excel at. An elephant skull for the big and strong one. A leopard for the nimble one, a gazelle for the quick one, and a lions for the all arounder. As if they were synchronized the elephant man struck down with tekkai enhanced arms, causing reina to back up to avoid force of the attack and rubble.  The quick ones tried to take advantage of her with their fingers poised to strike. Instinctively she hardened her torso before the attacks struck her, causing a black aura to shine through the holes in her shirt. Because they committed to attacking her she was able to use her strength to get one in a headlock and twist his neck to forcefully snap it while pivoting to stab the other through its chin. As their bodies went limp she pulled her blade from his skull while slamming one of the lion masked men with the corpse of the gazelle whose neck was snapped. The force of the soru punch lessened due to the corpse, she coated her blade with electricty and stabbed through it to hit the lion's fist. He tried to use tekkai, but ended up being shocked by her blade. Tossing the corpse aside she closed her eyes momentarily, ducked the clothsline from the unaffected lion and cut through his arm cleanly with a slice that began low and came up in an arc to rip through his torso. The other lion tried to make a move with his free arm, pivoting his body to use shigan while the other flailed in the air randomly. But reina was ready for him, using gram to block the intial strike(it's sheathed on her back), before pulling his blade out of the first and slicing down upon him again.

Try as he might to use kami to dodge the blade, but was met with a quick fluid thrust into his chest. Causing him to gasped as he roared from the pain of being electrocuted. While stunned she slashed his knee caps and stuck her blade into his heart as he knelled helplessly stunned before her.

The dock workers stared blindly at display. Instinctively they watched in awe as this blood stained marine defied their overlords and hers as well.  Yet at the same time they didn't want to move, or rather they did not want to stop moving. Most of them carefully maintained their same depressed and downtrodden demeanor. The sauntered about after a few moments of shock and awe. Returning back to their menial labor as if nothing happened. As Reina came back to reality she rushed over to the crowd. Although they tried to ignore her as even her simple footsteps had a soaked sound with each step, many could not. They stared in horror, eyes widening and collectively backing around for her. " Listen I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm here to help", she said with the most sincere tone she could muster. Many of them shook there heads, " Bloody demon. even if that were true, they'd simply find us again. Perhaps even harm our families....". Reina stepped forward and the man stepped back, " They're already hurting them by taking you away from them. Are you going to sit back and let them do what they please?". The red head roared, her voice echoing and reverberating throughout the dock. Others stepped forward ever so slightly, trembling at the thought of freedom. Their lips quivering and deadpan faces showing signs of emotion; tears welling in their eyes at the thought of leaving.

There was one more cipher, probably watching them from the fight from the sidelines. " Yes yes yes....how interesting child. You who would so viciously slaughter my men,are now touting freedom as your slogan, child of destruction"? The man was also wearing a lion's mask, but he carried himself differently. Reina smirked back, " What is necessary for justice is necessary. Would your men have let them go if they asked nicely? Or is your justice so important that---", without warning the masked cipher appeared before reina armed with a combat knife. In tandem with his kami-e, he thrust and slashed at reina's vitals. But with a combination of her blackened arms and sword, she parried him and even anticipated his next move, occasionally clashing with him. The two exchanged and stabbed at eachother as they pelted eachother with attacks. This newcomer cipher was incredibly aggressive, moving with a swagger had an almost reckless abandon to it. Using her concentration, she focused on his knife which was in actuality tougher than she expected. As he tried to strike her, she clashed with it so hard that he fell over. Before he could recover she slashed at him to crack his blade before completely shattering it.

In that moment she looked as if she was going to grabbed for his neck, causing him to pull away with kami. But in that instant she thrust her blackened katana into his foot before reaching back ad pivoting. The movement would allow her to grab for gram and swing over head onto him. Instead of being flexible, he hardened and rejected reina's blade from his foot, but ended up with a gram into his gullet. He didn't notice the light around it become wavey like water, the blade not fully stuck inside of his gullets before becoming corporeal again. He cried out as the sound of his rended flesh filled the room, blood and guts decorating the area around them. He grunted and groaned as he tried to reach for reina with his dying breath. But instead he went limp, as his weight slumped to the floor she used her foot to slide him off gram. Before sheathing it she slashed the air to clean it off while she held reaper in her other had tighter.

The captive people backed away in fear, a woman screamed for her life and all those around them closed their eyes expecting Reina to cut them down. Instead the sound of metal being rended filled the air. " You're free to go...", she said with her gazed averted and swords withdrawn. Something was still looming in the area, it was much worse than the ciphers. As she continued down a rather linear path, the sound of carnival music became clearer. A chamber with different pathways was laid out before her. In the middle of the vestibule was a man with twitchy fingers and scraggily hair which seemed to jut from his head, swaying to and fro as if it had a life of its own. " SWITCH"!

Reina slowly approached the scene which unfolded before her. A fellow who seemed to be pitch black black in his dimly lit room loomed over his tea table. He'd rush his tea party members to switch frantically, causing them to spill their tea all over themselves while they ran themselves ragged. " Now now SUZY, we can't have you spilling your tea!", he roared. The woman was barely able to sit upright and her arms were riddled with burn marks. Her clothing tattered and stained with blood. Her fellow guests was a young boy and a middle aged man. The boy was beyond help, he lacked control over his body and ended up switching even without hattah's orders. He trembled and looked straight forward with eyes which you'd think were taped open. His hands covered in bandages, but still soaked with searing hot tea which bled through them. The older gentleman was the cleanest of the three, calm and collected by comparison. However he was rather broken with a dead pan expression which didn't give even the slightest bit of humanity off. Out of the three, he was the most defeated of the trio.

"Switch", said the scraggily haired man. With dexterous movements he moved from one seat to another without precision and almost perfect control. His guests all hurried with a half dead zombie like stumbling. Hattah didn't mind, the valleys revealed by the dim lighting revealed a deeply entrenched smile. " oh let me fill you up johnneh boY!", he said with a joyous inflection. " My my fred, you barely spilled any of your tea. We should celebrate. DOUBLE TIME". The four tea party members switch even more frantically until the boy fell over. The woman kept looking back at him lying on the ground, while the man didn't pay any mind to him. "switch~~~~~", he shouted with he deep toothy grin. Just like that the boy was trampled, leaving reina speechless. " Switch", again the boy was trampled. He squirmed on the floor moaning and groaning, calling out for someone in an unintelligible manner. It was panic, the boy had broken both physically and mentally. Hattah shook his head as he left the table.

He knelted down and carefully hoisted the broken trembling boy in his arms, cradling him like a baby. " Oh jonneh boY, I had suCH~ high hopez 4 ye". Hattah carefully placed the boy on the table and reached into his coat pocket to find a loaded pistol. Without mercy he fired into the boy's stomach, again he cried as he started to hemorrhage blood. The man did not react and the woman cried profusely for the boy. " And yoooooou, woman". She shrieked as Reina stepped forward to try and do something, but instead she was shot in the shoulder without mercy. Hattah stepped on the table eclipsing her, " You lET that BoyY down, DIDN'T YOU"?

She couldn't feel anything for the boy as she rolled around in pain, unaware of what was going on around her. Hattah blew her brains out onto the floor. The man just sat there drinking tea, tapping hattah's leg for more. He too was shot without mercy.

Hattah turned to the woman with a somewhat shocked expression, as she sauntered into the flickering light before hattah. " You're a marine right?", he said with a somewhat somber tone. Reina nodded in acknowledgement as she stepped forth and began approaching him. " So why didn't you do anything"? She stopped for a moment, probably a good three meters away from him. Her gaze affixed upon his, as shown by the flickering glimmer in her eyes. " It's because they were gone already. Little boys aren't capable of such expressions without being deeply fractured. They were all unhuman at this point".

Hattah turned about face to reveal a deeply burnt face which was exaggerated by the poor lighting. " On the contrary, they were more alive now than they were before meeting me. Humans put on masks and become what society molds them to be. I simply wiped the brainwashing society molded them to be". Reina scoffed at him, " And being a trained dog is what humans naturally are"?

Hattah actually looked a little puzzled, perplexed at the question. " I would say so. Most humans follows rules am I not right? They live by the structure given to them and suffer when that structure doesn't conform to their needs. We like to romanticize the human condition, but in many ways they're nothing more than trained dogs. If I feed a dog he's happy. If I don't he isn't,but won't do anything. Just. Like. Humans".

Reina slowly drew her blade and took a deep breath, " See that's where you're wrong. What you did was take their choice away with your little tea party. I guarantee to you that those three were probably deeper beings than you, who would bring them down to your level rather than rise above your own. A dog of the military has no right to make such assertions".

Hattah in turn pulled out his pistol and flung the empty shells out and onto the floor, scattering them with care. " I suppose you have your own sense of justice"? As he loaded his pistol Reina nodded back in acknowledgement. " Your justice is more important than the world government's"? Again she nodded as she was limbering up with stretches. Hattah pulled out a metal handle with a clip of bullets already attached to it. " It's been a long time since anyone has challenged me---now then, Let's See Whose Justice Is More Right", he said with an inflection. Loaded and cocked, aimed at the red head.

Reina dashed to him poised to strike when he leaped back firing warning shots at her. Reina faltered momentarily. She knew the trigger was about to be pulled by the danger signals going off from her haki, but was still having trouble keeping up with the bullets. With her sword she parried both the shots, leaving hattah enough room to dash into the shadows. " Now then, what will you do poppet, hahahaha"? Within the chamber there were pillars seemed to be scattered every which way. Not for support necessarily because that would require uniformity for the best results. No what they seemed to be there for was his playground. As Reina pursued him a bullet richoted off the way and nearly struck her in the back.

At first she tried to find cover with the pillars, but then another shot rang out, bouncing again and grazing her cheek. As the trickle of blood let out Hattah laughed a maniacal laugh, " So what does the lovely young woman think of my trick shooting? You can not hide from me poppet". Reina smirked back at him as a coat of metallic black protected her vitals: heart and neck. " Interesting hattah, no it's quite fun", she coo'd as she burst from the shadows toward his general location. Hattah grin at her response as the sound of shells flying out to the floor resounded in the chamber. Again another warning shot came out, but reina parried it. Two more came out from above and below her, but she lunged to the side to avoid the one from below, while parrying the one coming from above. " Haha your kenbushou haki is admirable girl"!

Hattah ducked as she swung her blade, tearing through the pillar cleanly(executioner's calling). As it fell two more shots rang out aimed at the debris, reina more more blocked one but allowed the other to hit her haki covered arm only to be thrown backward and off balance as she tripped over herself. Although the bullet did not pierce the haki, it did get rid of the coating. " Tis the most powerful handgun in the world, capable of taking down an elephant".

Once more the chase was on, hattah kept her at a distance with his pot shots. Reina observed his patterns, but could not find one at first. Some of his shots bounced off things, others did not. what she did notice was on average two bounced and the other four were fired normally. Most of his shot were meant to make her haki get thrown out of whack because had it been a bouncing shot, it would have been accurate to a T. " Hahaha you'll never catch me if you are so afraid of my bullets poppet", he roared.

With this in mind she burst forth ignoring the warning signals for the most part. Hattah's expression was not of shock, but of excitement. Lightning coursed through her blade and he simply laughed at the notion, reloading at point blank. she'd swing and he'd sway with kami as he retreated. The two were starting to pick up on eachother's patterns to the point where even if hattah's bouncing bullets were random, he had distinct tells when he'd make one bounce. He knew she when she'd try to swipe him, aware of her feints and tricks.

The two of them covered in sweat, both their breathing audible to the other. "Getting tired poppet"?
As if she was challenged, she started to bounce off the pillars with even greater speed. Hattah was slightly thrown off and his shots weren't as accurate as she came down upon him, tearing the ground apart with each swipe(dragon flight x 2). " Just getting warmed up", she said as she bounced off a wall and charged forth(crane strike). He fired his clip in response, but in the air she was even more flexible, able to parry his predictable shots and dodge the useless ones without an worry. As she swiped for his leg he jumped and fired a wind blade at her. Using her momentum she leaped back onto the pillar and out of the way before charging forth again(another crane).

There the two kept battling it out until reina pulled her ghostly gram out. Hattah reloading felt her approached, but he didn't instantly recognize the distinct danger gram possessed. His haki did not register from the other side of the pillar that her ghostly blade could do him any harm. As it traveled through one side and ended up jutting out his chest, he curiously looked down to find a spectral blade in his chest. " hehe well played poppet". The sound of the blade becoming corporeal within the stone let out a loud thud, the sound of his flesh being rended muffled by the sound of the collapsing pillar. A pile of rubble lied before her and once again Gram became ghostly as she pulled it out.

Now that she got a good look at the area, there were two divergent paths. Both with an incline leading further into water 7 and possible up its interior.
