FALEECE KRINGLE
A woman within the confines of her assigned room within Marineford would hum along to a classical record's playings as water kissed her well-maintained, and seemingly flawless pale skin. "Ahh~ What would a woman do without the delicacies of hot wate-" *KNOCK* -- *KNOCK* ". . .I remember," she'd say to herself, stepping out of the shower before folding a towel about her essentials. As the knocks continued, she'd frown with each step before opening the door. "She'd blow a hole into every little dog with the nerve to interrupt a woman's bathing." Met with a puzzled glance, the lower ranked marine would salute before speaking. "Rear Admiral Kringle!" -- "Good morn-" -- "PLEASE! Ditch the pleasantries and spit out the message already, darling. Save us both the time." After a nod, the marine would continue. "The marine you ordered to arrive is minutes away from reaching marine ford! It is advised you mee-" Door close. The woman would merely turn around before making her physical preparations. With her blouse tucked into a pair of expensive and form-fitting darkish gray business pants, she'd open the file and read the words "Johnathan Keyes." Needless to say, after a prior reading of his portfolio the woman was eager to meet the botched cyborg. Be it for personal gain, or not. Thus, she'd in heel clicks n' all, begin her reserved strut for the docks of Marineford. "Here's to hoping this one doesn't disappoint. ."

"All hands, prepare for docking!"

As the marines scrambled to get the ship ready for docking, a solitary figure stepped out onto the deck, taking in the sight of the marine headquarters. He had never thought he would actually come here, especially after the incident. The figure wore a large trenchcoat and a hat, obscuring his features, though the other marines gave the figure a wide berth.

Ever since he left Tres Iron Lotus, he had been bounced around all over the place. Wherever he got assigned to, he was transferred shortly after. He couldn't blame them for finding him unsettling, but it still hurt, having no place to call his own. So it was a bit surprising when he received word that he was requested in Marineford. A Rear Admiral had requested him specifically, which was why the boat was pulling into here now.

As they pulled up to the dock, the man looked down and immediately spotted her. Even if he hadn't checked her profile en route, she stood out among the other marines, carrying herself with an air of authority. He stood on the deck, quietly watching her as she approached, the ship soon becoming tied to the dock and the gangplank lowered.

Seeing that their superior was present, the other marines immediately moved into position, saluting her, as the captain of the ship went to address the Rear Admiral. He gave her a stiff salute, "Rear Admiral! We brought the officer as you requested Ma'am!" The trenchcoat clad man, who had followed the captain down, began mentally sorting through various means to lower the captain's stress levels. It was clear he worked himself to the bone, if his overly formal stance was anything to go by.

As the captain stepped aside, the man calmly approached her, in complete contrast to the captain. "Rear Admiral Kringle," he spoke politely, his voice calm and relaxed. The man removed his hat, revealing a pale face with a mop of messy blonde hair. He gave a small smile and a light bow at the waist, "Medical Officer Johnathon Keyes, at your service." He straightened up, replacing his hat.

As a reporting captain's voice rang in her ear, she'd lift her chin to respond with a rather glimmer-ridden smile. "Marvelous, capitaine! How your services to me never seem to fail." She'd observe the ship's anchoring and unloading from the side with both arms tucked behind in a trained fashion. The woman, standing at 6'2" found herself in due time standing before a man who she was pleased to find after a top to bottom glance was of similar height to herself. But more importantly, present. Post Johnathon's introduction, he'd find her gaze upon him beginning to dim mid-speech. Before long, she'd be fondling a cigar between her lips with a swift spark from ol' reliable before shifting the smoke-producing bundle of stress relief sideways to speak. "Manners. .check," she'd begin while stepping toward the male. "Height. . ." Brief pause,"Check." She'd all but smirk while practically in Johnathon's personal space, eyes directed towards his and unwavering to scan for hint of easy intimidation. "You're all I expected you to be, Mr.Keyes. Except. . .one thing." She'd aim to clutch his lab coat before, without notice, pulling in opposed directions to forcefully tug said coat open and expose what she had ordered the marine here to witness. "Mm..the botched cyborg, front and center before me. I'd wager it was worth the wait." Post her invasion on Keyes' privacy, she'd aim to loosely clutch his chin between a thumb and index finger. "First rule, Mr.Keyes. The past is the past. I couldn't hardly offer you one forth of a damn for your past history of ridicule with..such sloppy work. This is your clean slate. Wear what you are with pride and I just might think about turning you into more than an eyesore." After a brief pause, she'd lean closer with her fingers still cuffed about his chin. "Am. I. Understood, Mr.Keyes?"

Johnathon watched quietly as the Rear Admiral didn't return the greeting, but instead slowly walked towards him, listing out certain qualities of his like she was checking off a list. The doctor raised a curious eyebrow as the woman stopped right in front of him, blue eyes looking into blue. She wouldn't see any intimidation in his eyes, only a mild curiosity as to what this woman was after.

And then she grabbed and tore open his coat.

The doctor's eyes widened in surprise at the brazenness of her actions. His torso was revealed to her. The stitches, the discoloured skin, all of it. Though beneath all of that, she would see that he was still a rather well muscled individual. A bit on the lean side, but at least he took care of himself. Or tried to at the least, considering his circumstances. The other marines stared in shock at their superior's actions.

And yet, she didn't seem put off by it at all. In fact, she seemed happy to see he was what he was. She took his chin, telling him to put his past behind him, because she wasn't going to give a damn. To embrace what he was. To be honest, Keyes didn't care about what he was. If anything, it was everyone else that had an issue to what he was. So to see this woman no at all disgusted with what he was was a welcome change. The doctor was silent for a second, their faces so close together as they looked into eachothers eyes. A relaxed smile spread across the good doctor's face. "Crystal clear Ma'am," he said.

The doctor then took a step back and shrugged off the trench coat, revealing the open doctor's coat underneath. Really, the main reason he wore the bulky coat was because others got uncomfortable around him. Now that he had the Rear Admiral's permission, it was coming off. He took off his hat and held his coat in the crook of his arm. "Now then, shall we take this meeting inside, or are we going to be standing on the docks the entire time?"
