Soon after she was dismissed by Admiral Haba, Ritsu received a summons from Anubis. She was expecting that he would call for her soon. No doubt he wouldn't be satisfied with the information she passed on through her men. They didn't have much detail after all besides the fact that there was a killer on the loose who was targeting Celestial Dragons. Being one himself, Anubis was relocated to secret bunker and that was where the Rear Admiral found herself being escorted to. It was a well-guarded location indeed. She even spotted some CP agents. She was pleased that people were taking this seriously. Though it came at the unfortunate expense of someone's life, she was glad that things were livening up again. Though she kept this from showing on her face. It would be in poor taste after all.

Ritsu found herself in once more in front of a guarded door where she was directed to enter. Inside, she found Anubis, Meiji and the Vice Admiral assigned to the Celestial Dragon. The whole party was here. There was probably no need to introduce herself again but she greeted them with a salute just the same. They were all quite familiar with each other. But unfortunately she couldn't just go straight to the point either because there was a standing order from Admiral Haba not to go around sharing information about the situation. Anubis could overrule this though given his position so she would wait until he asked himself what he wanted to know so that she would be answering on his authority.

Ritsu liked that Anubis was straightforward. That was the clearance she needed to finally be free to speak. The two others in the room seemed anxious for different reason based on their expressions but Ritsu chose to keep her face neutral the entire time. She was not yet at the point where she was comfortable with the rest of the party. The relationship was strictly business and duty. She cleared her throat and proceeded to answer the Celestial Dragon's questions as best as she could.

"We met the man near the ports. He introduced himself as "Ensign Nen" and that he was lost and looking for a training area where he was supposed to meet a superior. This was most likely a ruse and a trap to lure us in an enclosed space. There was nothing notable about him other than a strange mask and his initial introduction was as generic as can be. He did ask about our opinions on justice but I cannot say if our replies had anything to do with why he targeted Xanus. He also asked about how strong we were. Nothing strange from a supposed "newbie" in my opinion but that false sense of security was probably what did us in."

"When we arrived at the training area, that was when things got unusual. His alleged superior was not there and he challenged us to a duel. He revealed more things about himself to make us think he was worth it. He said he was a Ronin from Wano and was the greatest swordsman from there. There was no way to confirm how true this was other than the fact that he used a katana so I cannot say if it was a lie or not."

"As for his capabilities, we were able to observe that he can create swords out of thin air. I suspect this was a Devil Fruit power. I was unable to confirm anything else about his fighting ability as he immediately chose to knock us out with haki. By the time I woke up, the prince was dead and a message was carved on his body that he was going after Celestial Dragons."

"I have asked my men to investigate his background but I haven't gotten a report from them yet. This lockdown on Marineford was initiated by Admiral Haba whom I reported the situation to. I believe she intends to take over the operation herself."

"It has been less than an hour since the murder and so we are fairly confident that the killer is still on the island."

Ritsu took a moment to check if she missed anything but that was all. There was really a lot of vague information that in her opinion was probably not too reliable but perhaps Anubis could make more sense of it. She waited to see if the Celestial Dragon had anything to say about it or for further instructions.

It looked like she was right and Anubis did know a bit more about their mystery enemy. What was curious about it though was that until recently, he was apparently a member of the Celestial Dragon's team. The fact that he was a swordsman was confirmed and Ritsu was surprised to hear that he could even fly. That particular ability would be troublesome and would need to be shared to the others participating in the lockdown immediately. Stopping ships from leaving was not going to keep a man who can fly from escaping from Marineford. In any case Anubis seemed disturbed that a supposedly loyal man would suddenly go rogue like this. Perhaps he had been deceiving the Celestial Dragon all this time. She remembered once more that this man Tenzen called himself a Ronin. Maybe there really was a grave and dishonorable reason why he was now without a master.

After commending her, Anubis then proceeded to ask her a question about the fitting punishment for the man's treachery. This was a strange query in her opinion. Most Celestial Dragons would just put the man to death plain and simple. Why get her say on the matter? As she pondered this, she was briefly distracted by Meiji mentioning the death of someone he knew. If he came upon this realization after learning of Tenzen's betrayal, then that man must have not been alone before he set out to Marineford. The former noble feared these companions might have been killed before the Ronin arrived. That would have been unfortunate. But if Ritsu was to compare it to this latest case however, the Ronin only killed one man when he could have killed more. Most killers operated on a similar pattern. While she could not guarantee everyone was alive, there was a high chance most of them were.

"The man killed a Rear Admiral and a Noble. By all counts this warrants an execution. There wouldn't even be a need for a trial. I'm sure the citizens of Thonis would agree. But if you're feeling a little merciful, the 5th Level of Impel Down is probably a fitting place for him to spend the rest of his life."

"It's hard to justify not killing him though. Most people who threatened Celestial Dragons were subject to being erased. To be honest, that threat he made was probably a bigger deal than the murder he committed."

Perhaps in most people's eyes, Ritsu was being a ruthless. She wouldn't mind if that's what they thought. Her personal code would tell her a life for a life was fair. But she didn't even need to fall back on that to be honest. The very laws followed by the Marines themselves would call for the man's execution or throwing into Impel Down for life. Was she perfectly happy with the decision? Not exactly. She would have loved to get him back for the loss before he was handed off and taken away forever. But it was unlikely she would ever get that chance.

Maybe Anubis wanted to see what kind of action a law-abiding Marine would take in this situation or he had no idea himself what sort of punishment was handed out to this kind of criminal. It wouldn't be surprising since most Celestial Dragons were detached from the world and followed their own rules. Ritsu did not know Anubis well enough to say if he was soft or tough on his opponents. But she figured voicing her support for capital punishment would make it easier for him to gauge what sort of fate the murderous man was due. After all you couldn't go harder than death. From this point on it was up to him if he wanted to show mercy. But he would be in a precarious position if he showed too much leniency. If the man's last known allegiance truly was with Anubis, then Anubis could be pinned as the mastermind behind this if he tried to keep him alive. Celestial Dragons were mostly immune to the law, unless they targeted other Celestial Dragons. And if this man was really Tenzen, he made his intentions very clear about killing Dragons. Tracing this to Anubis wouldn't be much of a stretch.
