A Calm Fishing Trip
Keiji and Tai were walking on the pathway leading Dawn Island's only village. They had a great day fishing together even though Tai was a fishman. Keiji thought Tai was a really cool dude, he was fine with many things and wasn't scared of anything. As they walked on the path Keiji felt something lurking behind them but he ignored it.
" So Tai, how did you think our day went?"
" I loved it, hope we can do it again!"
" Anyways, night time is coming and we're barely halfway to the village. What do you think we should do? Continue on the path or set up camp and sleep here?"
" Can we just sleep here. I'm really fucking tired man, we can continue tomorrow'
" Yeah, I was thinking the same thing"
Keiji answered him with a drowsy facial expression. They strayed a bit from the path to find a place to make small make-do beds and go to sleep. They found a small clearing inside the forest and they started setting up their camp-fire and such. Keiji still felt something following them, a shadow maybe but he still ignored it. Luckily, Tai had kept the fish they had caught on their trip so they cooked them and ate them for dinner. They tasted fairly salty but were decent enough for them. Once they had both ate their dinner, they rested on their beds. As Keiji had closed his eyes, he realized Tai had alread already slept. He decided to stay awake a bit more just in case anything happened.
