Malik Roberts

Malik Roberts
Task Name: Teaching Them a Lesson
Tier: 1
NPC or PC: PC
Location: Briss Kingdom
Crew, Team, or Personal: Personal
Description: Takes place after, "Knowing the Situation"

While Malik sits outside waiting for the doctor to update him on the woman's condition, he wonders of the plan that Tri-Shadow has in store for the kingdom he is residing in. Lost in his own thoughts, he suddenly notices gang members approaching him. It turns out to be hoodlums of the same gang coming to avenge their comrades and leader. This will serve as a good way for Malik to kill time as well as get some exercise. If they are of the same level as the thugs he had previously fought, then, this was going to be a quick battle for him.
Enemy Details: 4 Tier 0 Thugs, 1 Tier 1 Thug
Boss: No Boss

In a certain part of the Briss Kingdom stood a fairly medium sized building with a red cross symbol on the front. It was a hospital, of course, a place where one can get themselves treated for when they were injured. The young pirate who had arrive in this kingdom, sat patiently in a chair outside of the build as he waited for the doctor to update him on the condition of the unconscious women he had brought in to them. He wore his cyan blue hoodie with it's hood over his head along with his blue pack filled with his belongings and essential. The people working here seem really nice to begin with and speak to, unlike the inhabitants he had first meet when entering this land of theirs'. They were generous enough to treat the small cut on Malik's left bicep as well as the bruises on his body. He did hoped that the woman inside is doing much better. The doctor said that his medical treat helped made the situation less dire. It made him feel slightly happy to hear that the woman was has a better change of returning to good health. That fact that it was because of him that she will make a more efficient recover cause him to smile for just a little.

"I am glad she is okay. Even more so that I was there for her. Still I hardly got the chance of knowing her name. I wonder what it is? Oh well, I will find out soon enough" He thought as he recalled the certain amount of information on the topic he had never been able to learn her name. He will discover it very soon. He just has to wait until she had awoken and had received much time to recover from the torture she had been through. It served those barbaric cultists right for what they have done to her. It must have been very painful, very agonizing to have been put through such suffering. No being has the right, even privilege, to do such a thing to someone else. He then, remembered the crushing defeat he ad bestowed upon the cultists responsible for the woman's pain. He had admitted it was a challenge fight each one of them, but overall, it wasn't too difficult. Those battle had only left him with treatable bruises with the previous wound he had sustained from a knife the leader of those group of robed men had. The cut had already closed and healed. Speaking of the same weapon that had caused it in the first place, Malik reached into his right pants pocket with his right hand. He then, pulled it out with the blade in it's sheath. Said object appeared blue with a black trim from where you insert the knife. The handle itself had a similar color scheme . The handle with blue with the guard being black as well. When unsheathed, it's blade was six inches long.

The boy hadn't been here for a day yet and already he had looted a interesting weapon from a person he considered an enemy. He might use this on certain occasions, but he prefers to always use his martial artist in combat and not become so arrogant while having it in his hands, like the one he took it from. The person he had relieved the knife of seemed overconfident with a small blade in his hand, even though he didn't know how to use it. Somewhere in that man's mind he knew an ordinary human being would sustain wound from a dangerous, yet small weapon. He was putting all of his victory into nothing, but a tool. He didn't even used the knife corrected, just mindlessly stabbing it at the body, who managed to evade the weapon with only one cut that had already healed. Malik had pictured the robed man he had fought before to be both arrogant and cowardly for his actions he had just witnessed. First, he tortures someone just to get what he wants, then believes he could win with just a small blade in his hand. This, however, lead to the robed individual's defeat by he hands of the young martial artist. While remembering, he had recalled using his technique, "Yousou" to kick five feet into the air then, drop kick in into the ground with a small tremor. A deserved defeat for someone considered a vile person in the boy's eyes. He then, returned the knife into his right pants pocket as not to misplace it.

The recent memories of his brought on from looking at his new weapon were halted the moment the young pirate heard footsteps. From how the sound echoed to his ears, he could tell there were certain figures approaching the hospital. He couldn't tell how many individuals there were, but when they arrive, he will be able to tell the exact number of them. He looked forward, into the direction from where the steps emanated from as they unknown figures quickly closed distance with the building from which the woman resided. When they were close enough, their bodies physical feature could be describe more easily. From how they dressed and how they looked, they were more gang members. In total, there were five of them present here. One of the hoodlums immediately walked in front them all the moment he noticed the boy in the cyan blue hoodie sitting peacefully in a chair to wait for the woman he had brought in to be treated. The thug had stopped in front to take a good look at the martial artist. His expression became slightly dumbfounded.

"Hold up, this is the guy who knocked my boys out? He looks like a harmless kid." He said, talking about, from what the novice pirate could guess, the delinquent the boy he previously triumphed over. The young martial artist stood up from his chair and walked towards the step. He quickly traversed down them and planted his feet onto the soft, earth-covered ground. The hood of his hoodie was still over his head, obscuring his face with a slight shadow. From how they look and the reason all these hooligans came to this location, Malik could tell they were here for revenge. He took a few steps toward them and stopped, staring them down.

Lifting his left hand up towards the top of his head, he gripped at the rim of his hood and flipped it off. This, in turn, revealed his full facial features to the thugs he was staring at. The hooligans themselves were also able to get a better look at the person who had defeated their comrades in battle. While Malik did look innocent and, if not, harmless, he was a powerful fighter. To underestimate a person such as him of his caliber would result in a painful thrashing. His strength was beyond an ordinary human's as well as his speed. These attributes combined with his gifted intelligence and the fighting style he was taught from his mother and father make him a dangerous and deadly foe to fight against. It is unfortunate for the delinquents that they have yet to see how strong Malik really was in first place. It would help to have been where he had defeated their comrades. These seem to not listen to reason. They also seem to have not taken a hint when he crushed his allies. It appears the young pirate was going to teach them a lesson. This will serve an exercise as well as a way to deplete time needed to wait for the doctor's update.

"Man, I still can believe a kid, like this, took down our pals. Either he is one tough customer or our boys are out of practice." The hooligan standing in front of the other said, having trouble acknowledging his allies' defeat at the hands of a teenager, who came from another island. While this boy may not look intimidating at first, his power was a thing to behold. The group continued to stare at the boy who had supposedly, from rumors they have heard, taken down the thugs in the previous upon his arrival. If he was so strong and mighty, he was going have to prove it to them. One of the lesser thugs in the group had an angry expression his face. He was enraged more than anything at the fact that his gang members were taken down by a kid. Not only did he believed it, but he went with the others to seek revenge. The thought of his gang's reputation ruin by the victory of a teenager, much less a harmless boy, angered him to no end. Even now, the calm look on the martial artist's face made his scrunched in annoyance. Not able to take it anymore, he blindly rushed in ahead of the four members of the group. Malik could see it in his eyes, that this hoodlum was blinded by rage and was not thinking straight.

"Ya little punk, I'll show you messin with ma boys." The delinquent said in an similar accent to the brute of a man he previous fought before. The boy appreciated the fact that each, or at least most, gang members respected one another. If not, none of these thugs would be here in the first place to challenge. Regardless of what they think of their allies, they intentionally harm others for their own amusement, pick on people just to feel good about themselves, and messed with innocents for the fun of it. Those actions alone indicated that they were still bad people and should be taught a lesson about be a better person. The hoodlum grew closer towards the young pirate, his left fist clenched tight. When he was close enough, he thrusted it towards his face. The boy easily dodged the attack with minimal effort. He clenched his right fist and slammed it into the delinquents chest. He then, performed an elbow strike to his neck. It successfully hit and the thug fell to the ground beside him unconscious. The other hoodlums who were watching were shock that one of their own were taken down so easily. They all now understood why their comrades were defeated with little effort from this boy.

The young pirate got into a combative stance, prepared for a confrontation with these hoodlums. With his experience from his past battle, he could take on two opponents at a time. At least enemies of a lower level than him. His calm expression remain etched onto a facial features, unwavering in the slightest. His gaze was focused on the individual before him. He was not going to lose his concentration from a simple trip they might put. Still, these were the type of individuals who don't rely on such antics. They prefer to let their fist speak for them. With that stated, this thugs can be categorize as barbaric, yet not very strong compared to Malik. With swift hand motions and gestures from the leader member of the group in from of them, two more thugs of lower ranks charge at the novice pirate. This was in hopes that they would have a better chance at victory.  While it was a smart tactic to outnumber someone, the boy before them remain level-headed, not losing his composure from two enemies rushing at him at the same time. As the two opponents close the distance front of the boy, he readied himself for their attacks. Both thugs balled their fists tight and each thrust one at him. Malik successfully dodged the attacks by ducking under the two assailants. He then, launched two fists towards their chests as he rose back up. They managed to connect, result in both thugs audibly grunting from the impact.  The three watching this battle from a safe distance couldn't believe what their eyes were showing them. Another two of their men were at this boy's mercy. Fortunately for them, he wasn't a killer.

Following up with landing two punches in the chests of two thugs that willingly charged toward him, the brave young fighter disconnected his fists and thrusted them upward. They were each aimed at the chins of both hooligans. They managed to connect and will his great strength, sent both men flying away from his three feet. They landed on their backs with a thud, laying motionless on the ground. At that moment, they lost consciousness. Malik stood firm on the rocky pavement, his expression still serious as well as ready to keep on fighting. Besides, if he refused, this thugs might attack the hospital, including the innocent people inside. They would undoubtedly even attack the woman he had saved from the cultists. The only way to stop people such as these hooligans would to beat them into the ground. When in certain situation where words seem to serve no purpose, action is to be taken. The remaining two of the group stood shocked at the boy's display of prowess in martial arts. He was much stronger than any man they have come across in the kingdom. Without a doubt, they had made the mistake of challenging him to a battle.

With three of the five hooligans out cold on the hard, solid pavement of the area around one another, the young pirate stands with a solemn look on his visage. With two more foes to vanquish, this will be an easy victory. However, he mustn't become overconfident. There were still opponents of greater power wondering the streets of the Briss Kingdom. As such, he must be prepared and become stronger to defend the good individuals who try to live their lives in peace. People, living beings, such as they deserve to live happy. Man has face multiple problems and have enough trouble resolving them. Those who choose the path of evil give too much grief and suffering. These thugs before him were an exception, however. They probably grow up not knowing better and were treated harshly. Maybe a defeat at the boy's hands will set them on a better path than the one they are walking now. Only time will tell from how things will turn out. There is always more than one path to choose from.

"N-No way, he just took three of us down in an instant. How the heck did it do that and where did he come from?" Said last remaining conscious thug beside the other who acted as leader. It was obviously his words echoed a slight hint of fear at this boy. While he may look innocent at first, when he fights, he is very different. A more righteous side of himself comes forth. The leader himself was trembling with fright. Whether Malik notices it or not, he patiently awaited the next opponent they would sent forth. With such an young, but adept fighter before the both of them, neither knew who will fight the boy next. Both thugs turned to one another, both gazes staring into the eyes of the other. each delinquent nodded, then turned to the boy. The knew that they had a better chance at defeating him, if they worked together. However, unlike the lesser thugs, one of them was of a higher tier in combat. Specifically, the leader could help the confrontation bend in their favor. Both of them shifted in battle stances. Malik soon followed suit with his own position. Now that an opponent of a higher level of strength was fighting against him along with a little help, he will have to exert his power to a higher peak. He knew that the supposed leader was stronger than his subordinates from how he commanded them, so he must be careful for any formidable attack used against him.

Each side gazed at one another, staring each other down as well as preparing themselves for the worst outcome. When it would seem neither competitors would move, the leader of the hooligans dash towards the martial artist with his remains subordinate following close behind. The boy readied himself for the onslaught of their blows as his last two enemies grew closer and closer. When the leader reached an appropriate distance from the adolescent, he launched a kick with his left leg aimed at his right side. Malik held both of his hands to where the leader would strike. Successfully, the boy blocked the attack. However, the delinquent ranking lower than the one held off by the martial artist took this opportunity to get close to him. He thrust his right fist towards the boy. This blow managed to strike him in his left jaw. The leader also took a chance and retracted his left leg to launch another kick with his right. The attack connected to his chest and he was pushed back a good distance of two feet. He skidded to a stop with his bangs hung over his eyes, obscuring them from view. The thugs who observe this thought that they have the boy on the ropes as they both smirk at his current state. They are far from right. While their blows did inflict minor damage, it wasn't enough to severely wound him.

Malik looked up from where he stood, no visible bruises from the two attacks his body had managed to sustain. His expression was focused, stern, unchanging. Momentarily, the two delinquents were surprised at how durable and sturdy the boy was. The martial artist took this moment and rushed towards his opponents. When both hands clenched into fists, he readied himself. He proceed to utilize one of his techniques as he did with one of the other leaders in the previous gang he had defeated. He quickly focused as much strength into both of his fists. With a sharp thrust of the right, he launched his "Ryuutakashi" forward. It successfully connected it with the leader's chin, sending him flying backwards three feet. He then, landed on his back in a similar fashion with the previous other two thugs. He then, lost consciousness from the force of the blow. Using his left hand, he thrusted the same technique forward to the same area on the lower-ranking hooligan's face. He managed to hit the man's chin and repel him backwards. He landed with a thud and too was out cold. With this, the confrontation was finished and not only that, the hospital was safe. In that same moment, the door to the building opened. The sounds of the moving doors caused martial artist to turn and see who would come out. It was the doctor the boy had spoken to, emerging and seeing the unconscious hoodlum laid out on the ground. The man had dealt with guys such as them before and was impressed at how well the novice pirate had done when he was against them. The man gestures for the boy to come inside was a smile.

"Come young one, I have great news of the woman you have brought in." At hearing those words, Malik gave a small smile. He walked towards the steps of the building and climbed them. He then, walked to the hospital's doors. With the door turning and reentering the building, the boy soon followed suit.
