if you ain't the hitter, you might just be the lick

As the group lied in wait for things to unfold a bit further, it became apparent in time something else was transpiring. "AHH!!! WHAT THE FUCK! MY ARM! THIS MOTHERFUK-! MY ARM!" "Fuck it lets go!" With Barbosa's command the group sprang into action. The attention of most people turned away, the group had the element of surprise and despite having no issue with killing, slaughtering innocents wasn't something they promoted. "Everyone get the fuck down!" Barbosa shouted as he fired off two rounds from his gun in the air. Some people screamed out in terror and ducked, others turned their attention over to the four who stood on the opposite side of the docks that the swordsman was on. "It's a raid! They got the drop on us!" This shout came from inside the crowd of criminals and incited a large scale riot in that instant. A large wall of enemies charging at the four and a wall coming towards Linedwell, the four decided to split up, so they could fight without worrying about injuring their allies. "Don't forget the ship is our main priority!" Barbosa shouted as they broke off in a fan and began fighting. Grabbing the handle of Same-kiri Bocho, Basa heaved the weapon over his shoulder in a horizontal swing from his right side to his left. Cleaving through two pirates who had their hands and swords raised, he let the large blade slam into the stone earth on his left side a bit behind him. Rocks and debris flew, behind him as a result discouraging pirates to attack from such an angle. Near the end of his swing, his right hand's grip on the sword had been released and just his left remained on the weapon. With his right he pulled out his pistol, Curtail. Firing off a few rounds to pirates that charged him, he increased his body count to five. His blood was burning hot in his veins and a sin stained grin was occupying a his mouth.
"Hey Alphie, it seems like these guys aren't all in the same crew or whatever. Some of them are fighting each other!" As Naesala spoke Alphie covered him with bullets from Curtail, in the sense that Naesala was being guarded, while Naesala also continued to fight. "What's that mean?" Alphie asked as he tucked Curtail back in his jacket with one bullet left in the chamber. With his left hand he swung Same-kiri Bocho out in front of him causing a wave of wind to blow a few enemies away, thus clearing the area. "I'm not sure . . . just thought I'd share it I guess." The two looked at each other and shared a shrug as they ate up the space that Alphie had just created with his sword swing.

It didn't take too long after Linedwell's action that hostilities appeared to flare up, culminating in two gunshots being fired and a riot breaking out. Even though Linedwell had been the aggressor, it seemed that tensions within the group had finally flared and people were now going after one another and fighting each other randomly. Though this would have usually been a god send since Linedwell would have potentially gained a chance to move through this crowd with a small bit of resistance, it seemed that the man he'd injured from before had a few friends with him.

As Linedwell began to count the enemies that were now lining up to rush him he started to realize that "a few" had been an understatement. The amount of people that now had a bone to pick with him seemed to number at about twenty, and the way they lined up gave them the look of a wall barreling down on him at a decent speed. With his right hand still clutching the hilt of his blade, he quickly unsheathed his blade once more before slicing through the air horizontally, causing a sharp blade of compressed air to soon follow. With his foes running towards him shoulder to shoulder, there wasn't much they could do in the way of evading the attack; and soon enough ten men had been bisected. This was only about half of the total force that was still coming his way, and Linedwell knew he needed to take advantage of the opening he'd been granted. After activating his Satori technique, Linedwell increased his speed and quickly darted through the line in their offensive, swiftly moving past them and slicing through a few enemies in the crowd as he ran past.

Proceeding forward through the empty space, the duo was presented with a small triangle of riflemen. Each aiming their rifles forward at the two, Naesala and Basa, Naesala jumped into the air. His feet pulled in to his body, upon entering striking range, he jutted both out, drop kicking the guy in the front in the jaw. Alphie adopted a defensive maneuver instead. Heaving Same-kiri Bocho over his head, he slammed the slab of steel down into the concrete road. Fracturing a section of rock all around him, the rocks bounced up forming a airfield of concrete around him that worked to catch two of the bullets that were fired at him. "Alright move out the way Naesala!"From in front of him, he hoisted his weapon out of the damaged earth with vigor, as to position the weapon behind him over his right shoulder, both hands gripping the handle with the edge of the blade facing away from his back and the edgeless side facing his back. Having slammed his weapon so deep in the ground, upon practically unsheathing a decent portion of the blade from the earth, Alphie would create a large deal of friction to create a minor fissure that would evolve into a large projectile air blast.
It's appearance made it look like an ivory shark's fin peeking from the surface of the ocean. Those who were caught in its path wouldn't be cut, but rather struck with a powerful blunt force that'd break their bones and bury them beneath the rubble it created with its drag. Naesala quickly gathered himself to a stand and ran out of the way, grabbing some fighters by their collar and tossing them back towards the incoming wave of pressure. "Be careful with that shit Alphie! If you destroy the ship Barbosa's gonna kill you!" Naesala shouted once the loud noise of the attack tearing up the terrain and throwing people asunder ended. "Calm down man, the ship is over there no where near us." Alphie motioned his head towards the ship while lowering Same-kiri Bocho to his right side, idly waiting for more people to approach. "Yeah and it has people trying to board it." At the pier a few frames could be made out. They seemed to be swinging some objects that consisted of a length of rope over their heads. "What are those? I can't make it out from here.""Those would be grappling hooks." As quick as Roshi spoke, he ran in front of Alphie weaving beyond all possible threats to the docks.

No matter how many enemies Linedwell cut down or ran past, it didn't appear as though the crowds were dying down at all. There was far too much chaos and confusion, and the random fighting that was going on was beginning to disorient Linedwell when it came to the direction he needed to move on. He'd need to get into the air somehow and get a good look around in order go gauge his distance away from his ship and see what was currently going on with it. He could only hope that his ship hadn't already been stolen and that this entire fight wasn't a complete waste of time.

Looking around for a few seconds, Linedwell spotted his only chance to get a good aerial view of the battlefield, and once he pushed off of his right foot he was now sprinting towards a group of a few thieves that were fighting amongst one another, Linedwell had spotted one that seemed to be short enough to step off of. With the top of his head in sight, Linedwell jumped into the air before his left foot made contact with the top of the male's head. Once landed, Linedwell pushed off once more on each head he could see while getting a good look around. While looking in the direction of the ship he had been able to note that it seemed there were far more figures standing on the ship than the two that should belong to Sever and Isaac.

"Shit..."

Continuing to leap, Linedwell began making his way towards the ship as fast as he could.

"Well we can leave that to Roshi then." Readying his blade to resume the carnage, his feet carried him in a run forward. "Barbosa sent me over here to remind you our priority is the ship actually Alphie." Naesala was fending off two knife wielding randoms and Alphie just dispatched two with a diagonal swing upwards to his left side. Bodies scarred in the front and sent back onto their backs bleeding out, only to be trampled as more faceless beings replaced them to keep Alphie occupied. "Well if that's the case then back me up." Turning towards the ship Alphie began to charge forwards with Naesala at his back. Rushing them head on, Alphie had rotated Same-kiri Bocho clockwise to make its handle point out to ten o'clock while the end of the blade was pointed down towards four o'clock. With this rotation his right hand was gripping the edgeless side of the blade that was closest to his chest, but was beyond his torso on his right side, so the grip was more natural. The edge was directed towards the foes he was charging of course. Their blades raised to defend themselves, Alphie pulled his weapon close in and before making contact, he thrusted out to bash each of the goons on their backs onto the ground.
Continuing his charge forward, soon he felt Naesala pressing against his back to keep him moving forward. "Are we almost there? Cause I don't think we can go any further." They had collected quite a few people in their bulldoze towards the galleon and they were beginning to push back. "Just about, we need to lose these guys though." "Alright back up." Slowly inching his arms back in towards his chest, it seemed as if Basa was losing steam to fight back against the accumulated mass of grunts. Once the weapon was close to his chest and the weapons of those opposing him were as close to his being as he would allow so he wouldn't get harmed, with a sudden burst of strength he pushed outwards. At the end of the push, this action just put them back in their deadlock, but a moment after a second force backed up Alphie's shove and pushed those who were pushing against him back about half a foot. Creating some space, he increased this gap by hopping back to make enough room for Same-kiri Bocho. Reeling back with his left hand, his blade over his left shoulder, he swung over to his right side horizontally. Throughout this motion he weapons blade had a red glow to it. The glow wasn't to an unnatural extent, it simply looked like the weapon was being heated so a Blacksmith could work on it, but before the swing fully developed, the glow would erupt in a fit of flames. Spreading out in a fan and lashing out at all the people that he was previously pushing against, he set the whole bunch a blaze."Alright that's that, lets get to the ship." Alphie put Same-kiri Bocho in its sling, thus freeing his hands as him and Naesala ran towards the galleon. "Little Alphie's growing up huh?"

As Linedwell continued with his unorthodox tactic consisting of leaping from one head to the next, he noticed that on the far end of the docks there appeared to be far more going on than the random fights that were occurring between these would-be hijackers. There appeared to be large gusts of wind pushing back multiple men, sending them flying every which way before a lot of others were being physically pushed back by a group of two. From his distance away, Linedwell couldn't get any exact details from the two, but going by the appearance of their frames Linedwell could tell that one of them belong to Alphie, while the other belonged to another in his group - but Linedwell couldn't exactly recall his name. They'd arrived sooner than Linedwell would have hoped, but he didn't exactly have time to dwell on that. If he was going to face Alphie's group after this then he needed to make sure he conserved as much stamina as possible, using the little reserves he did have to face these fodder opponents didn't help him in the slightest.

Soon enough, Linedwell managed to reach the docks after his last leap and he managed to hit the ground running, making sure not to lose his pace. Right about now, Linedwell could see the multitude of grunts standing on the deck of his ship, and merely seeing them standing on his property was causing him to give into a rage he always attempted to keep in check. "How dare they" was a question that kept replaying over and over in his mind, and each time the phrase was repeated the more he imagined each and every one of them losing their heads. Once he reached the ledge of the dock, Linedwell made use of his momentum as he leapt into the air, grabbing hold of one of the ropes on the side of the ship. One of the thieves had forgotten to reclaim their grappling hook after boarding the ship, and Linedwell wasted no time using this and climbing up towards the deck.

At the docks the duo looked up to see a rope still latched onto the lip of the ship leading to the deck. Taking a few steps back, Alphie made a leap for the rope and grasped onto it with both of his hands. Scaling up the side of the Galleon once he got on the deck, he heard the Naesala's boot clad feet slam against the side of the ship as he began to climb up. Before his husky ally could even hit the deck Alphie would already have been out of sight lost in the masses that were on the deck battling. Fighting with Īzasu, his wakizashi given the spatial binds and the speed it offered him, his trikes weren't as menacing as with his great sword, but rather he dismantled his foes. Cutting them at muscle sections like the arms and legs just to get them out of his way. Where he was headed was tot he helm of the ship to see if anyone was about to take the head to try to send the ship off on a voyage. There was still the anchor of course, but Alphie was more focused on getting to the wheel. There he'd defend it until Barbosa came and gave them further orders. If no one could get to the wheel, then the ship couldn't be properly hi-jacked.

It didn't take Linedwell too long to scale up the side of the Galleon and to reach the deck of the ship, only to be greeted by the sight of a multitude of men brawling on the deck of his ship. He was a bit upset that his eyesight had failed him and only allowed him to pick up a few frames through the darkness as it seemed the fight on the deck would be more than he'd expected. Almost immediately after setting foot on the deck of the vessel he found himself under attack by multiple armed men, each of them coming towards him from either side of him. With his Satori skill still active, their movements were so slow and sloppy that Linedwell even had time to react with a laugh before taking action. With his hand on the hilt of Treachery, Linedwell unsheathed his blade and made a horizontal slash in front of himself, making use of his ability as a weapons specialist to extend the reach of the slash by one meter. This allowed him to take out the multiple enemies in front of him before dashing forward and out of the attack range of the enemies to his left and his right. Due to the speed of Linedwell's exit after this attack, it caused his opponents to clash with one another - some ending up dead because of the confusion and "friendly fire".

Following up his attack, Linedwell continued to move forward with his hand still on the hilt of his blade. Once he found himself in the vicinity of yet another group, a green flame immediately created an aura around the scabbard before giving off a sudden burst. The flames spread rapidly over the deck of the ship, yet, they gave off no heat whatsoever. Even though the flames also rolled over the ankles of his enemies, they weren't burned as a result, yet it was obvious they could feel the chill given off by these flames. This had been enough to distract many of those that had their eyes on Linedwell or those that were currently embroiled in their own fights at the moment. With this momentary lapse in their attention spans, Linedwell made use of yet another horizontal slash before sending a crescent shaped wave of flames in their direction. Once making impact, the flames caused severe cold burns, causing light patches of frost to accumulate in the areas in which the fallen had been burned. The deck of the ship still seemed to hold a large amount of enemies, but slowly they were beginning to be put down.

Arriving at the helm of the ship, Alphie found a few blokes lurking around fighting each other over the wheel of the ship. Making a dynamic entrance, the Commander jumped into the back of one of them sending him on the floor on his face. Turning over his own right shoulder, he violently lashed out in the same motion with his wakizashi. This create a nasty cut along teh face of one of the hooligans who screamed in pain and gripped at his face. Sneering at the pain he had caused, he turned his attention to his right, since the screaming sissy was on his left due to his rotation. As soon as he looked however a pistol rang off. Alphie could feel the heat the gunpowder explosion made, that's how close the pistol was to him and the bullet was even closer. Lodging itself in his right eye, he clutched at his wound and sheathed his wakizashi while grabbing for his own pistol. The wound seemed to deter his movement however. A lot of time was spent fumbling around and he just gave up and dropped his wakizashi to try to draw his pistol in a timely fashion. Before he could do so, the pistol rang off once more. This time teh bullet swam straight through his cranium. Dead.
