On the solid pavement that decorates the many pathways of the kingdom, one boy quickly dashed on one of them, his goal the castle of the ruler's themselves. After he defeated one of the leading generals earlier on and went to recuperate from the damage he had sustained in his previous battles, he went back for the robed man to answer some questions he might hold answers to. The discussion had dragged on for ten to fifteen minutes in total, but he had learned all he needed to for the moment. He had discovered the main plan that Tri-Shadow had for this country. Unfortunately, it didn't stopped there. Their goals involve taking over not just the Briss Kingdom, but the entirety of the South Blue as well. Somehow, Malik knew these mysterious individual would aim higher that just this location he was currently at. With the plan of the enemy now clear to the young pirate, he now realized that all of the South Blue was in danger and he had to put a end to this absurd scheme.
He rushes faster and faster down the path before him that heads towards the castle. The speed he is traveling by seems to be inhuman. Thankfully, because of those certain limits he managed to surpass in his early days of training, he can be at the palace in record time. Hopefully, he will be their to save the ruling family members of this entire country. If somewhere on the line they happen to be captured, he will risk his neck through and through to rescue them. Many people would ask why he would do things of such kindness and sincerity for those he does not know at all. For Malik, the answer was, "because it is right". It was the kind of man he had chosen to be, to protect those in need, to smite the wicked. It was part of his dream when he had planned to set out at sea. Even if a random bystander were in danger he would blindly rush in to protect them. Everyone has their own divine rights to live peacefully, to do what they need to for the people they care for. They also have the inborn right of freedom to choose who they want to be, what they desire to accomplish. In the boy's case, he wants to protect this kingdom from anymore suffering as well as protect the sea he grew up in. From what Malik knows from the information gathered, to carry out their plan, the cultist have to dethrone the king and queen.
I have to get to the castle quickly. The people in charge of running this country are in danger. Not to mention the cult also want take over the sea. I have to stop them. No matter what, I will take down the last remaining leader of Tri-Shadow and save this country." The boy inwardly proclaimed within the machinations of his mind, his strong desire to bring this organization down with all his might. He continued to run at speed unimaginable for ordinary human beings towards the palace of the Briss Kingdom. He quickly, and most carefully, checked his surroundings while simultaneously running in the set direction. He did not want to make a mistake and bump into innocent civilians. Even if they had shown him nothing, but hostility at the beginning he arrived here, they were good people trying to get by in life. Besides, Malik suspects this same apprehensive behavior was due to how the kingdom entered into the state it is in at the moment. Whether they give him thanks or not, the fact that knowing he did something for the greater good is satisfying enough. While his progressive dashing towards the palace goes on, he immediately spotted up to a total of four figures in the distance. He quickly stopped, his shoes skidding across the solid pavement of the road. When he finally managed to come to a halt, he look before him recognized them as cultist. Obviously they were lower-ranking members, soldier that follow the orders of the one in charge of this scheme. He stood up to face them as he could see they stood in defensive positions.
"I can tell from how you are standing that you intend to not let me pass through. If you people are here then, I suspect that more of your comrades are already inside. If that is the case, I will have to defeat you guys quickly to get by. I won't be holding back." He said in a rather solemn tone, letting the robed individuals before him know that he means business and was serious about going at them at full strength. This will make for a quicker way to enter the palace, but he will be exhausted, afterwards. He hopes he will be able to recover enough stamina in time for the next assault of soldiers he will have to face. To quickly begin the first battle, one of the two lower-ranked cultists in the group stepped forth. He walked over to the young martial artist and stood in front of him. At a moment like this, he knows what will happen now. All there is left to start the fight is who will be the first to attack. Not wanting to wait any longer due to the rulers of the kingdom being in danger, the novice pirate rushed forward. He was intent on defeating all of the cultist present here at the current location he was in.
