Baratie & Bickering
What a delicious meal! The Baratie was definitely not overrated in terms of the quality of their food! Perhaps, they could have used a few new additions to the wait staff, but other than that, she'd had a fine meal. The others seems to still be plowing through their dishes, though in their defense they'd all had meat in their entrees. Reinaka slide her lap napkin onto the plate and leaned back in her chair, satisfied with one of the best salad and tofu dishes she'd never had the pleasure of enjoying.
The restaurant was in full swing still, the hustling and bustling of servers running here and there, the chit-chatter of tables all across the expansive floor space. It was warm, people were merry and happiness was abound. It really didn't get better than this. She looked back at her friends and smiled as they scoffed down food, laughing at this and that, arguing over this piece of bread or that dish of butter. Honestly, boys were quite disgusting when it came to dinner time but if it was going to be this lively, well, she looked forward to the many adventures they'd be having.
Suddenly the doors of the restaurant flew open with a smack on either side of the wall. The sound made the girl jump in her seat, turning to figure out who'd caused the all teh ruckus. The merry sounds of conversation seemed to hush to a delicate whisper now as a crowd of men and woman came bum-rushing into the building, demanding to be seated immediately. Ugh, idiots. There was no way they were gonna be eating anytime soon with no reservation and this kind of dinner crowd.
The hostess seemed to try and explain this much it seemed, but the guy just didn't seem to be getting. All service seemed to halt as though waiting for order to be resumed before they continued. Hmm. Was this going to affect her dessert? "Ugh. Pirates.... Uh, no offense."
