With no words, Linedwell snatched the paper up and began to read, knowing immediately where this location was. He was consumed with rage. Usually he would have kept his head level enough to realize that right now he should be more concerned with finding out the identity of this man than his revenge, but right now his revenge began to take precedence.

"...Thanks"

Stuffing the note into his pocket, Linedwell stood up from his seat and walked out of the bar. He could tell this conversation was affecting him far too much. One thing that Linedwell had been attempting to do was to put the past behind him and to move forward with his life, and to be honest he'd begun to consider it more and more as time went on and his. Yet, with today's revelation he realized this was something he just couldn't do.

About an hour later back in his suite, the thought of what he should do continued to dog him. He was caught between two different choices. He could either ignore the Clarets for the rest of his life and attempt to move on and live for himself - leaving behind the pain, regret, and anger he'd lived with for so long the way his father wanted him to. His other choice was to go against everything his father stood for and strike at the Clarets each and every opportunity he had. For most, this decision would have likely been an easy one, but right now Linedwell found himself at a crossroads.

Sitting down on the couch within his room, Linedwell poured himself a few drinks as he attempted to decide what he should do. The anger he'd felt about his father's passing was affecting him more than he'd ever thought it would. Though he loved his father, they didn't exactly part on good terms as they didn't see eye to eye when it came to what they should do when it came to dealing with the Clarets. Aarne had always tried to push Linedwell in the direction of merely molding his own future and creating his own legacy instead of trying to rebuild the fallen Rainrex house. Though Linedwell had always hated his father for this view, he couldn't help but understand his father's reasoning for how he felt. Yet, whenever a Claret would order him about or act as if they were simply better than him due to their birthright, all his understanding of his father's words were lost on him.

Even though living the way that his father wanted would have been the perfect way to remember his father and honor his memory, he just couldn't fathom the thought of his father dying at the hands of the Clarets and doing nothing about the situation at all. They'd taken everything from him and his family, and now his father was dead as a result of their actions. His father would never approve of the course of action that Linedwell planned on, but at this point he wasn't around to complain about it, and the Clarets had themselves to blame for that.

The pros and cons of what he should or shouldn't do went back and forth in his head for far longer than he'd ever assumed it would have. The liquor he was consuming seemed to be making things harder to cope with than he hoped it would, but luckily it was also numbing him to the repercussions of the actions he'd been hyping himself up to make. No longer was he beginning to fear the actions the Clarets would take if he took action himself, or the danger his crew or his future ambitions would be in - at this very moment the only thing he could think about was seeing each and every Claret wiped off the face of the Earth and everything they'd ever worked so hard to build to be torn down. No longer was this about Linedwell wanting to see his family once again wielding the power that was taken from them. Linedwell could now see that thoughts such as these were merely flights of fancy that he engaged in, and reality was now hitting him harder than ever.

It was after this that Linedwell decided he'd honor his father's wishes and continue to live for himself and not for the rebuilding of a family that had long since perished. Linedwell would live on and build his own legacy, but he'd build that legacy upon the corpses of the family that had taken everything from him. Linedwell would live in the present now, but he'd erase everything from his past to do so.
