Linnea walked around Yotsuba Island alongside some of her trusted companions. Exploring a marine controlled island was difficult, but the main reason why she became a pirate was so she could explore on her own terms without anyone telling her where she could or couldn't go. It was for this purpose that she shamefully lowered her jolly roger, so the marines wouldn't bother her during her exploration. Sengoku the Southbird scouted from above and patrolled their surroundings, and if that weren't enough Linnea also had her own Kenbunshoku Haki, warning her of any potential hostile intent from the nearby Marines. Hiding her face under the hood did wonders to conceal her identity, and her allies had their own methods. The day was beautiful, the sun was shining through a thin a curtain of clouds... The streets were far from crowded, which only made their exploration more pleasant... But up until now they had yet to find anything even remotely relevant... But then, Linnea heard something:
"JYOOOOO!!", turning towards the Squak, they would see Sengoku the Southbird circling a location. His cry sounded excited and eager, he had likely found something worth seeing and possibly taking. Linnea had grown used to her partner's cries and could often tell his emotions from them.
Linnea immediately gestured towards her partner, signalling her crewmates to go there with a smile on her face, "Whatever we find there, I guarentee it will be worth it. I'll scout ahead and provide cover."
Before long, she had climbed onto the nearest rooftop and travelled along them to find a group of marines dragging along 5 tied up pirates. Among the marines, one of them had a particular stronger aura, and two others were carrying an open crate filled with gold... So that's what drew Sengoku huh. Well, her allies were getting close, so might as well behead this Marine squad. This treasure had been stolen from Pirates, so pirates were claiming it back. Better in the hands of free men and women than filling the coffers of greasy old men. Grabbing her bow and arrow and coating both with Haki, Linnea drew an arrow and took a deep breath...
Her arrow would be the signal for her allies to advance, so she took aim at the Marine captain's lung and let it loose. The arrow silently whizzed through the air before lodging itself on its mark, earning a low, pain filled grunt from the wounded Captain. Without that leadership, his grunts would be disorganized. Such is the price for abandoning your freedom and individual thought...
