✘ The notion that the Ronin had to prepare for his actions was laughable at best given it was even stated Ondori already had his right hand on his katana's handle. The preparation was taken during a previous term of time, meaning the timing of the violinist actions was already flawed, ultimately setting him up for failure basically. All Ondori had to do was swing his blade twice as originally planned and that's what he'd do despite the calls and running of the man who was eight meters away on his right side. By the time the man had began to trip and fall, the blades of wind were already released, thus resulting in the death of the bandaged man due to his inability to properly defend himself against the assault. A single air blade slamming into then through his esophagus and spine would cause a spout of blood to spray out of the fresh wound as his head fell onto the concrete separate from his limp body. Due to the man's death his mucus wave would lose steam and ultimately not reach Ondori. Such a development was assumed by the Ronin as he saw the wave begin to lose its body and velocity, and eventually it would end in a messy puddle on the ground about 2m away from Ondori. This would be on Ondori's left as he would have turned to his right to face the one who was running at him and was falling, had he really expected his actions to break the Bounty Hunter's focus? Who broke focus when in a potentially life or death situation and when they already had their course of actions planned out in their head. There was also the odd idea that the Ronin was frozen in time or something as the violinist acted as if he had all the time in the world and Ondori wouldn't continue with his plan. It's a hard concept of reasoning for me to grasp, but I don't really need to . . . As the man face planted, this was when the wave began to lose its speed and Ondori knew for sure he wasn't in a danger zone anymore. The weirdo about five meters away, Ondori looked on in speculation, his weapon still drawn, as the man snapped his head up at Ondori in attention then let out a screech. He was on all fours like an animal, but the positioning of the limbs gave it a more insect like vibe, Ondori didn't like it. It reminded him of a roach, it was gross. What happened next was all Ondori needed to validate killing the man where he His Ghost Step going unused due to an unexpected development, at this moment the Ronin would display his knack for speed and the art of assassinations. The man's body placement was what would probably lead to his downfall, the crouched down positioning on all fours wasn't an efficient stance for traditional fighting, so hopefully the freak had something up his sleeve. Whether he did or didn't, we more than likely wouldn't find out, for as the verbal utterance came, before it could be finished and the venom could be sprayed, Ondori would have become nothing but a blur in the violinist perception at least. Ondori's sword still down by the sheath on his left side, safely held with the edge out to his surroundings and the edgeless side closest to the outside of his left thigh, he'd use the Ghost Step to cut diagonal to the right by one meter, then forward the remaining six meters he could manage with the movement skill. Barely even a break in between the two linear movements, to the violinist Ondori's fram would just be a flicker until he stopped moving. He would have stopped moving one meter in front of the man and one meter on his right side. During this second term of linear movement however, Ondori would have attempted to maim the man. His blade's placement previously noted, during his travel forward he would have sliced outwards to end with his katana out in front of him in empty space. Of course the length of his weapon wouldn't allow for the man to be hit directly, but again the Ronin would have executed a technique his old teacher in Baltigo had taught him. During the outward slash what is known as a Flying Slash would have been emitted from the edge of Ondori's weapon. If the violinist remained in the place he was, he'd find his right and left leg being severed from his body. With the Bounty Hunter literally being untraceable in the eye's of the violinist, more than likely he was doomed, for even his body's stance wouldn't allow for the most conventional style of reacting even if he could clearly perceive the swordsman. However from his stance the possibility of jumping or broadly put, vertical movement was always something that could happen. Though he would be a meter in front of him Ondori had his head turned to look over his left shoulder to see the man. Should he somehow find away to weasel out of the attack, Ondori's extended katana would quickly move to perform a diagonal upward slice tot he left while Ondori turned to square his body off with the man. With the help of the Flying Slash and the man's lack of the ability to move fast or even at an average pace, Ondori would easily being able to catch him should he attempt a vertical escape. If hit this would cut deep into the man's torso to the organs surely causing him to bleed out in the immediate future. For Ondori's sake hopefully it'd pay off because hoping into the heat of battle without warming up surely wasn't, it was already taking a toll on him physically.

Life Sucks but death blows ✘ While death wasn't immediate, with both his right arm and right leg severed clean from his body, he'd bleed out within the minute and pass out from blood loss even sooner. Casually taking a few strides forward, he sheathed his blade, despite having taken two lives with the skills he employed not a single drop of blood was smeared on the steel. "Look what you dickheads made me do." Ondori ignored the body of the soon to die dread-head, he'd let him grovel in peace with the few seconds of precious consciousness that he had left. His eye caught a few fleeing people in his eye, they seemed to have retrieved the white haired boy. It wasn't the Ronin's business, nor was he being paid for possibly rescuing him from being kidnapped, so he didn't really raise a brow at it, because he was about to be paid for his killings. The bandaged man's peons were looking on at the spectacle that unfolded down below in awe. In one fell swoop their Captain was headless and it was because of Ondori's doing. He ignored their gaze for the time being and simply walked over to their Captain's headless body and squatted down near it. "This is undoubtedly the guy from the bar, bet I can get a nice amount of money by turning his head in." He could also get a couple bands by looting the body as well and that's exactly what he did. He found nothing of use, though the man did have some weapons on him, but they didn't fit Ondori's style. Even worse the bloke only had a shallow forty-thousand beli on him. Ondori paused for a moment in disbelief and let out a sigh while he shook his head. Filtering the petty amount of money into his own Beli pouch, he stood up and finally addressed his spectators. "So um, since your Captain is dead, you can either get the fuck off my ship or help me get to the Grandline." There were two of them near Ondori on the ground. They didn't seem capable of much, so he wasn't worried about them. If they tried anything he felt he could easily take them down as well, but given he killed their Captain with such a small amount of effort he doubted they had the capacity to test him. By now the other one, dread-head, would have at least fallen unconscious from blood loss. Walking over to his body Ondori would also help himself to his pockets only to find out he was broke. Letting loose another sigh of exasperation, he just walked up the boarding platform of his ship, the grunts looking on in silence still. "How come I keep juuging all these broke boys? Whoever decides to stay with me, just know we're gonna get fat pockets and kill this broke lifestyle." Ondori wasn't assuming the role of Pirate Captain, though he easily could be seen as such given he was assuming control of a pirate ship, but he was more so just using what had fallen into his hands to achieve his goal. "I'm not a pirate or anything, just a bounty hunter, so from here on out, we're a bounty hunting organization and come tomorrow we're gonna be heading to Baterilla, so whoever normally steers the ship, get ready to set sail I guess. Imma go help myself to some booze and see what y'all got around here." With that Ondori headed to the lower decks of his new ship while his employees got ready for their journey to Baterilla. "Oh-" He stopped at the door to the lower deck. "-and someone go grab those bodies that are out there, that's good money." He saw a few nods from random faces he'd grow to know and with that he vanished to the lower deck to celebrate the lick he just hit. [Exit w/ bodies] |
