His father had already appeared from off his ship; soon his mother would arrive and all the glares and disappointed looks will start. At this point he did not care. He took care of himself and did not depends on them for anything so their approval was no longer important to him. Vaguely he remembered their kindness towards him as parents; well what they would call kindness. And what they called kindness, he called training. He will give them that. Without the efforts of both of his parents, he would maybe be as a simple person like some of his deceased siblings and just be a civilian. But no, thanks to them in all sincerity they made him have discipline and taught him the value of it and having a training regime. His father would say 'I want you as determined as a Marine, yet spontaneous an unpredictable as a pirate.' And that made sense, the Marines after all were indeed powerful but rigid and there was not much room for creativity in his opinion. The  pirates attacked without warning. Often showing up on shores of peaceful coves to bury their treasure or to loot whatever land they landed on sometimes even claiming it for themselves. The artillery and the general fire power of the marines were incomparable. His father would tell him of the times when they leveled an entire island in pursuit of a target. But Dax knew all too well that was to coax him into joining the Marines. Nothing in this world will make his father happier had he joined. But Dax was determined to forge his own path. neither side appealed to him so it was nothing childish as wanting to rebel against his father and mother. Regardless of what, he wanted to make his own way.

As he sat on the edge of the bridge, he could see on the horizon a spec; no doubt it was a ship. In the meantime he had a few apples with him that he brought for breakfast. He took out one from his back pack and starting munching on the apple allowing its goodness to enter his mouth. Fishing boats nearby moved lazily on the water as fishermen took in their catch that they caught the night before. There was a family nearby on a small jetti having an early morning meal together before they went their separate ways for the day. Some time had passed and he realized that the spec that he had seen was actually his parents own private ship. They knew why they came in that vessel and not in one of the naval ones. It was obvious that they wanted to be discreet about this whole affair; after all it was their eldest son that had died. Dax's eldest sibling, the only one that Dax really cared about was going to be buried today. Not too far from this mega structure of the bridge where they all grew up. As the ship grew closer and closer to the port, he could see the deck hands busying themselves with the needed preparations before they entered port. On its bow, not wanting to miss a thing were his two parents whose facial expression could be seen from such a distance. As the ship passed below him, he got up from where he was and continued on his way to the Concrete jetti that the ship would be tied to. The ship was green in color with a turquoise hull. Its sails were also Green and turquoise, his mother's favorite colors. He had remembered that much at least about the woman. His father did not care what color their ship was. He was a control freak yet he yielded to his wife. Dax kept reminding himself that if this is what married life was like, he hoped he never fell in love.

The bridge of Tequila Wolf was the largest in the world. It was so large that people lived, worked and died within its confines. Dax walked down the side of this stone bridge along one of its many stone stairs that were exposed to the elements and if one were not able, they could be swept from the stairs into the sea or on the floor below. His blue hair moved slowly in the medium strength wind at this height; all the while looking at his parents' boat as in moored into the harbor and eventually docked. By that time, he had arrived at the jetti and stood there waiting on them to disembark their vessel. His father he could immediately see with his blue hair that spiked upwards and his long white naval coat that hung loosely from his shoulders. His mother had black hair and grey eyes. Both wore their navy uniforms. He took nothing from her looks but only her fiery personality. He was trying to change that. As far as he was concerned, he wanted little to do with them and yet he wanted to be with them. As they approached him his father with his right hand dipped into a pocket inside of his coat and produced an envelope. It was yellow in colour like those that were used during business transactions. Without saying a word, his father handed him the envelope which he took. Of course he wanted Dax to open it which he did. Inside was a single sheet of paper that was typed and a familiar letter head that he saw before when the last time there was a death in the family. Sure enough, it was a will. And as he read it, it listed the wishes of his now deceased brother. In it, it gave specific instructions on how his body is to be buried and that he did not want certain people to be at his funeral; all plans Dax had planned to respect to the letter. As he read he realized that his now departed brother had left him his entire estate. What piqued his interest was that his late brother also had a dry dock with all the amenities that were needed to successfully repair and build a ship. Nothing was to go to his parents only Dax who was the last surviving relative of worth in his opinion. His brother's death although he was a bit sad about it, opened a new door of opportunity for him. Now with his skill as a ship Wright he can carry out his work to the fullest.
