Baterilla was just as bright and friendly as ever. The clouds were pretty much non existent in the light blue sky and the sun was beaming down on the earth. Marcel had just arrived back to the island he spent most of his child hood on after leaving Wano. After taking a deep breathe, the samurai began to walk deeper into the island. Walking by, Marcel was greeted by a lot of the islanders who recognized him. Some saying "welcome back" while others are like "Hey, longtime no see!" among other things.
Marcel simply waved at them with a small smile on his face. He did enjoy the warm welcome, but now he couldn't sit around and chat with anyone. There were some questions that he needed to ask his step father about recent events. Little did he know that he was being watched. by a figure in a black coat. As Marcel walked by an alley, this figure could be seen standing in the darkness of that alley which caught the samurai's glance.
Marcel paused and backed up a little towards the alley, but saw nothing this time. Shrugging it off as just seeing things, Marcel proceeded on to his destination. Marcel decided to stop at a market stand to buy something to eat and maybe have a little chat with the owner to see how things were going. "Oh ho ho ho ho! I still can't believe that little Marcy is all grown up!" the market owner said to Marcel as he handed him an apple on the house.
"Wait until your step dad gets a look of you, he's probably going to bawl up with tears." the owner said with a laugh while Marcel smirked a little at the comment. Marcel got up from the stand and started to make his way, unknown to him that he was being followed by more than just the hooded figure.
