When the beast was close enough to the young pirate it was fighting, it raised it's right paw, extending it's own claws, poised to attack. It performed a swiping motion with this appendage, aiming to inflict harm on the boy. The strike managed to make contact with the boy's abdomen. Before anything agonizing could take place, he was able to react at the last minute to lessen the damage that would've been fatal. The animal's claws left two cuts across this part of his body as well as holes of the same shape. These wounds were no moderate or major, but minor. Thankfully, he reacted at the right time. Afterwards, the menacing tiger slipped pass the boy. It landed on the ground and quickly turned on all of it's fours. Malik turned as well to face the vicious adversary. They both stared each other down, waiting for one another to make the next move. The boy decided that he should go next. He made a dash toward the formidable beast and reared back his right hand. He was finally able to figure out the pattern to how the tiger moved when it attacked him earlier. Before getting close enough, he stopped and made a quick jump to his left. This caught the animal by surprise. He hadn't expected the boy to make a sudden maneuver such as this. As the tiger was an animal, it relies mostly on instinct rather than intelligence. So, it was rather not too difficult to out think it. However, that didn't mean these beasts were still clever. Due to the surprise that Malik had showed earlier to the animal, the creature was left at a lost on what to do next and had little choice, but to wait for what the young fighter had to do. Stopped on the tiger's right, he thrusted his right fist with great force. The animal was unable to react due to the sudden change of direction that the teen found himself in. As such, it found itself unable to dodge his fist. The attack was able to connect with the creature's left jaw. The force of the punch managed to push him backwards up to a considerable distance. It measured to be four feet feet in total. That sudden maneuver was from how he saw the tiger fought when their battle began earlier.
"Got you" The strong teenage fighter said out of success from one of his attacks being able to hit the beast. Immediately after the animal stopped, it quickly crouched it's four legs. It then, jumped forward with impressive force. It moved so fast that the boy was unable to completely move out of the way and simply decided to endure it. The tiger managed to ram it's head into the teen's gut. The adolescent warrior grunt in discomfort as he was knock towards the ground. He landed with a thud as well with the menacing tiger on top of him. The beast stood on both hind legs as it raised both of it's paws with it's claws retracted. It swung it's makeshift arms multiple times, intending to inflict blunt damage onto the teen. It was obvious the young martial artist wasn't going anywhere, since he was pinned to the solid earth by the tiger's massive body. So, he was forced to endure what the beast was unleashing in front of him. Malik's face was forcibly pounded from left to right, his gaze altered against his will from the intensity of the blunt attacks. It was painful, yet he was become slightly dazed from his vision being through back and forth. He had to stop this right now or face the disadvantage of a temporarily spinning gaze. This will leave him open to more fatal attacks and, as a result, he could lose this battle. He bend both of his arms under the tiger's massive body, clenching both hands into fists. He then, thrusted both of them forward with a great portion of his strength. He was able to get the beast off of him by propelling it over him in a frontward motion. He quickly sat up from the creature's recent assault his had to endure while he was pinned down from the sheer weight of it. He raised his left hand and placed it on a corresponding side of his head. He could still feel the dizziness in his vision still present, residually. Removing his palm from his cranium, he closed his eyes shook it slowly, try to steady himself again. When he opened his golden brown orbs, he could see clearly now. Thankfully the tiger he had punched off of himself was struggled to get up. He must've knocked the wind out of it. It was very fortunate for him, indeed.
He quickly hopped back to his feet and stood from where he sat. With his left hand, he dusted of the dirt that may still be present on his backside. With his right, he caressed his jaw from the damage he was inflicted. He then, noticed that a trickle of blood flowing down his face from the right side of his lip. If he thinks about it now, he would be correct when he suspected that the tiger had hit him six time while he was being restrained by it's pure weigh. If it couldn't catch him with pure speed, then, it probably decided to try and pin him to the earth. It was a clever, yet unorthodox move. It's fighting style was similar to Malik, something he will have to note when he finishes this journey he was on and returned to his friend's family inn. For now, he shifted back to his fighting stance and wiped off the trickle of blood from the creatures previous attacks with the back of his left hand. He decided to attack head-on. Since it focused on movement other than straightforward, then, he can only assume that move in a straight line would be unexpected for an animal like the one he was doing battle with. After which, he will unveil one of his newer moves. With the tiger standing up and ready to fight again as evidence by it's vicious gaze, he crouched both his legs. He then, rush forward, heading in a straight line. Before reaching the appropriate distance, he clenched both of his fist. When he was close enough, he decided to unleash it. The animal was taken back by this maneuver the boy had just pulled. To charge in a straight line without any unpredictable or sudden movements, making this tactic sudden in of itself. If there was one thing the an opponent of Malik's was overwhelmed by, they would chalk one up to his gifted intellect. He can think himself out of the most difficult and puzzling of situations. It was rather easy to do as well. Go gave him this level of intelligence and now he was put it to good use. Another convenient use for his mind was solving puzzles that, otherwise, would be hard for others to complete.
"Time for another one of my new technique. This move I call, "Iyana Ikari."" The teen said, ready to unleash greater pain upon the savage beast that had harmed him earlier. This wasn't out for revenge, it was simply his turn to inflict damage. That was how some battle go. On suffers pain, the does as well. Now that he had successfully closed the distance between himself and his animalistic adversary, he swung his left fist towards the beast. This attack was able to connect to the creatures corresponding side. The animal ended up growling in pain. He then, swung his right fist to it's other side. This time, the beast's growl turned into roars of agony. The boy reared back both of his arms for the completing strike of this technique. Crouching both of his legs to get better aim, the teen launched both of his clenched fists towards the animal's chest. The successfully it where he wanted. He didn't want to inflict damage that would definitely be fatal to this creature, so he hold back enough to avoid breaking any bones in it. The damage was still major, but it was significant enough to deter the tiger's movements. The beast stumbled back steady, trying to keep it's balance. Watching the creature position carefully, Malik slowly stood up on both feet. Immediately, seeing this opportunity, the tiger managed to muster up enough power to rush forward and made a jump towards the young teen. The certain surprised the boy as he was at a lost on what to do next. Raising both of it's now-extended claws, the beast unleashed one slash for each limb. Both attack managed to cut into him, inflicting moderate damage for each strike. This type of attack, together, measures up to the terms of major. The teenage martial artist grunted inaudibly in pain. When the animal landed on all fours, it panted as it was exhausted for using up too much energy. Clenching both of his fist to engage in another assault, Malik quickly rushing forward.
When he was close enough, he unleashed a barrage of punches onto the beast. As it was too tired to move, it was force to endure greater pain than it ever felt. The number of punches the teen had unleashed measured up to ten in total. All consecutive attack manage to hit the animal in it's face, leaving it dazed as a result. Fr the eleventh and final blow, he reared back his right fist and concentrated all of his strength into it. He then, crouched down and thrusted it forth, aiming to inflict the damage to the tiger's chest as with his other attack. It successfully made contact to the aforementioned body part. Unfortunately for the animal, having push Malik far enough with it's last attack, a few of it's ribs broke under the force of the last attack of this move. Nothing a few day to weeks of rested couldn't handle. The tiger ended up roar out of agony, as a result. The inflicted external damage was major while internally, it was minor. With his most powerful attack having been dealt to this creature, it simply felt to it's right side, utterly twitching in pain. With it's fall, Malik had one the battle of the final animal blocking his way to the Devil Fruit of his desire. He turned on his feet and began walking to the belongings he left on a branch a good distance away from the fight he was in, so he could heal his wounds with his first-aid equipment. After that, he will continue down the path he had chosen to claim the Sand-Sand Fruit and earn the power in honor of the deceased loved ones of him and his friend, Zatania.
