Cyrus disembarked from the Revolutionary transport ship onto a warm beach, far different than the island he had called home the past month or so. He swept his eyes along the coast, taking in the warm air with a deep inhale and sighing with pleasant relief, I'd say I'm going to miss the cold, but I'd be lying. He said to no one in particular before his pack of things landed with a thump in the sand. Cyrus turned and waved up the Revolutionary who had dropped his things. The Revolutionary waved back before disappearing back into the ship. The plank was drawn up and the ship set sail once again without a word. On the way over the Revolutionary who captained that particular transport vehicle had explained Cyrus's promotion to him and the benefits it came with. He was a Revolutionary Lieutenant now and that meant he would be issued his own ship and crew. The captain had asked Cyrus a series of questions about the design of his ship and what he might want specifically on board so long as it complied with the standards of the Revolution. The captain then explained that his ship would be completed in a few days and arrive, along with crew, within the week.

Now on the beaches of Jaya Island, Cyrus thought about his options. Apparently he was to find a shipwright said to be working on the island. Cyrus was in no rush however, he had at least a week on the island to find this Revolutionary shipwright. He contemplated just laying down in the warm sand and letting it soak into his body, warming him from the outside in. Instead however, he decided to go for the inside out approach and headed towards Mock Town in search of the first bar.

'Without music, life would be a mistake.

The sound of the broom whisking against the dust laden road outside of the Moonlight Inn made Junbei slightly wonder about his current state of decisions. He’d made a name for himself in the South Blue, though tragic the outcome of his rise to fame. There was two things he enjoyed most about Paradise so far, one was the fact that his bounty was easily scoffed at and two, in terms of Jaya it’s a haven for pirates, vagabond and merchants alike far more concerned about their own agendas than his. Humming the melody to one of his pieces which was currently under construction, he watched as the townspeople hustling by. “Stars across the open seas” Junbei exclaimed, singing the reprieved for his song’s chorus. “He’s the Moonlight Inn’s latest sensation”, one of the women walking pass whispered. Junbei’s ears were glued to the woman’s soft critique, continuing to sweep the outside of the shop.

The woman stared from a distance admiring Junbei’s beautiful singing voice, she was even slightly attracted to his looks. The admirers friend, tugging at the women's traditional wear, a vintage long pinned up dress, through gestures tried to tell her friend to move along. “Don’t be fooled by his looks… He’s a monster who murdered ten children in an orphanage. Child Killer.” the woman uttered disgusted. Junbei watched as the light faded from the woman’s eyes, a common occurrence among those who only know the Newspaper’s report on what happened at Base 45. Continuing his sweeping, Junbei began to hum the melody once again, “And souls of men will slowly sleep. Across Across… The Open Blue. To Chase the Bloodied Diamond.” Junbei concluded, reflecting momentarily on his life in the South.

The sun’s mad glare was suppressed by the cloudiness of the skies. It was a warm, slightly humid day. It was however never dull in Mock Town. Running down the merchant strip, knocking his body into stalls as he advanced, a small child carrying a wrapped up parcel in his hand advanced hastily. “Stop! Thief!” the old man chasing after the child, almost exhausting the last gasp of air in his lungs to scream at the child. Breaking the corner, he entered into the pub district, advancing towards Junbei direction. The townspeople stood to the side, as they often do, watching as the vagrant dressed child dashed down the road, wearing tattered clothing sullied in blood, sweat and muk. Continuing to sweep, the child inched closer towards the Moonlight Inn however his path was obstructed by a swift kick to his face. “Damn brat.” one of the pirates in a further stationed bar exclaimed, obstructing the thieving child.

Cyrus walked along the bustling streets of Mock Town with its shanty buildings and colorful people. He felt much more at home here than the quiet, near empty streets of the north windswept Drum Island. The people were loud and boisterous and Cyrus could spot the big personalities from a mile out. Pirates were the profession of the week it seemed in Mock Town, which was just fine by him. The last thing he needed were Marine filled streets and truth be told most of the Revolutionaries he had encountered lately hadn't been all that interesting or talkative. Truthfully he was looking forward to spending some time among rapists and murderers. As he walked along the streets smells, not just sights and sounds bombarded his senses as he scanned over numerous open food stands lining the walkways. Meats, fish and even strange looking vegetables roasted over open fires or grilled quickly on hot metal grates. The succulent smells were almost too much for Cyrus to handle and it was only then that it occurred to him he hadn't eaten anything that morning.

Approaching a vendor, a stout little man with a big bushy mustache, Cyrus eyed one of the kebab looking things he was pedaling. Pointing to one, the man plucked it from the grill and handed it over in exchange for a few beli from Cyrus, who obliged happily. As Cyrus took the first bite of succulent meat, a conversation caught his attention. It wasn't exactly uncommon for someone to call another person a monster, especially when in a town filled to the brim with pirates, but it took a special breed of person to be a child killer. As the accusing woman and her friend left the accused to his sweeping, Cyrus eyed the man up and down for a moment, taking him in. He certainly didn't look like a child killer...but then again Cyrus didn't know all that many child killers. He noticed the boy's mouth moving as he swept and it dawned on Cyrus that this boy was actually singing. More so to himself than anyone else, but singing none the less. Now there was an interesting combination, a singing child killer working in a pub. That would make for a perfectly fine drinking buddy.

However, as Cyrus went to approach the young man, another commotion broke out not ten feet from where he was standing. As Cyrus turned his attention to this latest buzz, he noticed a small boy running for his life. The boy clearly hadn't bathed in, what Cyrus could only assume to be, weeks. He ran with a bundle of food, straight into the foot of a pirate. To put it simply, some asshole had just kicked this kid in the face. On instinct Cyrus suddenly found himself between the pirate and the kid who lay on the floor, his world quite literally rocked. Honestly my friend, you seem the pirate type and yet here you are stopping a future pirate to be for doing something oh so piratey? That seems very un-piratey of you. I mean for god's sake man he's STEALING, that's right up your people's alley. You should be rewarding this boy, or at the very least encouraging him. Cyrus shook his head, clearly expressing his distaste for the pirate's actions. He then bumped the child lightly with his cane, tapping him twice on the side, Come on then, up you go. The Revolutionary said, taking a large bite from his shish-kebob while looking down at the small child.

'Without music, life would be a mistake.

As the child hit the ground, a pile of dust surrounded his body dragging him through the dirt from the adult's stamp. Junbei's grip on the broom tightened, as his mind flashback to his days in the South Blue. There was a duality to this scenario that played out. A play on morality firstly. Striking a child, thief or not was against most moral code due to their lack of strength and ability to defend themselves, however to pirates moral codes are much like beauty, in the eyes of the beholder. The other rule was the universal taboo on Jaya, 'No acts of piracy are supposed to occur in Mock Town'.

Pirates were indeed allowed to trade illegal goods, rob, steal and even murder if they wish as long as the 'customers' or the more so the townspeople are safe. It was an unspoken rule among thieves and regardless of this child's age, the rule had been broken. Resting the broom on his shoulder, grabbing the dustpan with a grip off the wall, the man approached the child who was struck onto the ground, to check if he was okay. Stooping down, Junbei noticed the child was shivering wildly, either from shock or out of fear that has escaped had been halted.

"Who the hell do you think you are blonde!?" the drunken pirate exclaimed. "I haven't seen ya around these parts... but we got rules among us' ere' in Mock Town." the man excluded, slightly intoxicated. "This is our paradise. The marines who are stationed here are a bunch of pussies. We are the quote on quote sheriffs. This town has one law. No criminal acts within the city. It makes our buyers nervous... Kilahahaha" the man exclaimed laughing obnoxiously. "I don't give a rats ass about your opinion blonde.... There's a delicacy among thieves." the man concluded, his men ushered around him laughing. Even after the tap from the man's cane, the child was stagnant on the floor.

Assessing the situation, Junbei had took a closer look at the blonde haired man's mug which looked so familiar. Smiling slightly, as the green capped man bite into his shish-kebab, Junbei had made the connection to the man's identity, how couldn't he when his poster was plastered across various boards not for piracy but acts against the World Government. However, he was definite not because he doubted the man's identity but due to his own inability to recognize faces well. "Bullshit." Junbei exclaimed, peering up towards the pirate and his crew. "Rules? Law of the city? Pirates are free to do as they please. When did this become a business?" Junbei exclaimed angrily.

The pirate peered at the musician's face, "I know him!" the man exclaimed. "It's the punk who gets his ass handed to him by Kipp's men! That fucking coward!" the man exclaimed laughing steadily. "You better move along kid... If you can't even handle Lucas no way you want problems with me. Name's Captain Kennedy Michael. The man with a  20,000,000 Million Beli Bounty!" the pirate exclaimed.

Cyrus eyed the young man who had been sweeping as he approached and checked on the downed thief, he said nothing to the younger man, simply observed as he looked the thief over. Cyrus heard the pirate babbling on about honor among thieves or some other useless prattle but paid little to no attention. He was fixed on Junbei (though of course he didn't know the man's name), wondering how this tavern keep would respond. He had a feeling things were going to get interesting, and, so they did. As if on cue Junbei stood up, anger coursing through his body. Cyrus had seen anger like that many times, he was an expert people watcher and this was nothing new. As the boy began yelling at the pirate, Cyrus took a final bite from his kebab, finishing the meal just as the show began.

Oddly, the pirate seemed to recognize Junbei from somewhere, just as the woman had earlier. This boy's history ran deeper and darker than Cyrus initially assumed, Interesting...very interesting... So first he was a child killer, now he was a punching bag for some guy named Captain Kipp. Well that's a stupid name. Cyrus said to no one in particular, but realized it was time to step in. Placing a gentle hand on Junbei's shoulder, Cyrus stepped between the two before anyone could do anything stupid. After all if Junbei got beat or murdered or...if there was even any legal system on this island...arrested, then Cyrus wouldn't have anyone to drink with and he really wanted a drink. 20,000,000 you say? Oh dear, oh me, we have quite the intimidating figure here folks. Cyrus said, thinking about his own bounty which had to be at least 10,000,000 more than this pathetic pirates at this point. There was no need to let the captain know that though, he was insinuating a pissing contest and Cyrus wasn't about to drop down to the level of an idiot. It was quite apparent if he did drop down to Captain Michael's level of idiocy, the pirate would beat him with experience.

So instead, Cyrus went for cold hard truth, You do realize you're in Paradise now, right? This isn't the Blues where your mother could powder your ass and kiss you on the forehead before sending you on your way every morning with a packed lunch to plunder some already poor civilians. 20,000,000 bounty is nothing here, that's not even average. You're below average Captain Michael, a bug who picks on starving children for his own amusement and then inflates his own ego by making up ridiculous claims. Now piss off, you're making me feel bad for the human race just being in your presence. With that said, Cyrus looked over Captain Michael's shoulder where the man who had initially been pursuing the boy had finally caught up. He looked winded and unsure of what to do in such a situation, What did the kid steal? Some food? I'll cover it, just tell me how much I owe you.

'Without music, life would be a mistake.
As the shop owner approached the now huge commotion barely catching his breath from the chase, the restaurant owner, taking off his fedora, leaned back and exclaimed, "Gimme a minute let me catch my breath", exhausted from chasing the young thief. Regaining his composure, the man restaurant owner reintroduced himself, the man was stout in fram, almost barely five foot in height. He wore a single seeing glass on his right eye and was dressed in a black west-coat, with a single black tie, which featured zig-zag strikes.

"I usually give the kid some food that our chef sets aside for him everyday... I knew his father as a child growing up. However, today he snatched a bottle of fairly expensive wine and a variety of silver pieces from our table collection. I had to chase him..." the owner announced to the blonde hair man. "I don't need your money." the man exclaimed humbly bowing his head.

The shop-owner's expression got slightly more serious turning to the kid who was now lying on the floor next to Junbei's current position. "Damien. Don't you think it's time to accept my offer and come live with me?" the owner said candidly. The child snapped back into reality, staring up at the restaurant owner. "I... I can't. It's my fault my father is dead! Mother's gone! I have to be strong and survive on my own! Even it means becoming a pirate..." Damien said with tears in his eyes. "Damien..." the man said compassionately. "You hate pirates! Why would you become what you so long dreamed to fight against! You would always tell your dad you'd grow up and become strong to clean up Mock Town one day!" the owner shouted. "Those days are done! The world punished me for being selfish. If I never told father I those pirates stole my 'treasure' then he wouldn't have died that day!" the child shouted with tears in his eyes, frustrated from the pain of the pirates stamp and the emotional anguish he felt.

Michael began to laugh heartily, almost as if he heard a comedic skit playing out before him. "I knew that brat looked familiar! He's the son of that scrub we killed last month for trying to get back his son's 'treasure'. You believe this boys! A damn marine cap... How lame. Dying for a bloody hat!" Michael exclaimed laughing. "Then this damn blonde talking about 'Fuck Off' he thinks he's so cool too huh..." the man said irritated. Reaching into his jacket, Michael pointed his gun towards the kid. "Okay. I've decided. Kill the blonde, the punk, the owner and the kid." Michael commanded.

"But boss... The kid really?"
one of the grunts inquired. The man's query earned him a shot straight through his head. The remainder of the crew new the underlying fate, veteran members knew of Michael's temperament. The child and the owner froze in fear, as the pirates gun rose now towards the blonde. Intercepting the man's attempt to aim, Junbei smacked the gun from the man's arm, using the broom sticks as batons. Striking the man's wrist immediately following with another strike to his knuckles, the pirates pistol dropped to the floor.

"Pointing your gun at little kids... You must find yourself pretty cool... Eh... Michael." Junbei said, his eyes trembling almost in anger as he store at the pirate. However, it was not frustration or irritation that oozed from the young musician, it was a calm and cold response. The remaining men, about six in number surrounded the blonde and the auburn headed broom fighter. Flicking his wrists, another two pistols emerged from Michael's long sleeves, spinning the trigger guards against his finger tips confidently. "Owner. Take the kid and get out of here." Junbei commanded. "I wouldn't want the marines thinking we're associated with each other." Junbei said smirking slightly.

Cyrus frowned as the restaurant owner explained the situation. He felt guilty assuming the man had simply been some heartless owner who couldn't stand the thought of losing a loaf of bread. He looked at the man for a moment, catching his eye before nodding in respectful acknowledgement and stepping to the side so that the man could have words with the boy. Cyrus smirked as the kid yelled at the owner, Shame, for a moment there I thought he'd make a decent Revolutionary someday. Sounds like he wants to be on the other side of the law though, probably for the best in the long run. Cyrus thought as he watched the two converse. Suddenly guns were being drawn and Cyrus was confused for a moment. Of course he had completely ignored whatever Michael had been saying so Cyrus quickly played a game of mental catchup to understand the situation. However it seemed there was unrest among the crew as one of Michael's own men took a bullet to the temple. Cyrus didn't so much as flinch. He had seen bloodshed too many times for it effect him now. Another body in the street was nothing compared to the things he'd seen.

Well that was dumb. Cyrus said bluntly, not even realizing he had spoken until after the words had come out. Honestly, you had us eight to two, I'm excluding the kid and our restaurant friend for obvious reasons, and now you dropped it to seven to two. Cyrus rolled his eyes, honestly some people. It wasn't like the guy wouldn't have joined in and shot the kid anyway, he was clearly spineless and terrified of his sniveling captain. Instead of just forcing him to comply Michael had just wasted a valuable asset. However, Cyrus quickly moved on from the critique of Michael's intelligence as the musician expertly disarmed the loudmouth captain. Cyrus raised an eyebrow, Truly you get more and more interesting the longer I stand here with you. Cyrus said to Junbei, realizing the younger man had no idea Cyrus had been thinking about and observing him this whole time. He noticed others were drawing their weapons and the taste of a fight filled the air. Alright look, you seem pretty interested in giving this Michael guy a piece of your mind so I'll let you deal with that nuisance. The other six are mine though. Cyrus said with a grin, standing up straight with both hands resting on his cane. By the way, since we're about to fight for our lives together I figure I should at least know your name. My name is... He paused for a moment, thinking about his wanted posted. This was an island filled with pirates so he was in no danger with the marines, but still, it never hurt to be too careful, Bond, James Bond. And you are?

OCC: Note Michael though having a 'high' bounty is attributed to him murdering innocent civilians in the past. His strength is around no more than Tier 1. With his grunts also being around the same capabilities.

'Without music, life would be a mistake.

"Interesting... Huh.. I'm just a humble musician trying to live enough for two." Junbei said, replying ominously to the blonde haired man, referring to his childhood friend in terms of living for 'two'. Michael brimmed with anger at the man's witty insults, to the point that even Junbei began to snicker a bit at the man's facial responses. The wrinkles in Michael's face came almost as abrupt and often as those in freshly washed clothes that were unpressed. Aiming his pistol towards Junbei, Michael's finger caressed the trigger but much like a teenager advancing bases quickly, his attempt was denied by Junbei smacking his broom into the shooter's face. The dust from the streets obstructed the man's vision, shifting to the left of the pirate, almost disappearing in a dart like motion. "I can't strike him in ribcage... The broom's not thick enough for such powerful strikes, I might break them. So..." Junbei's thought concluded, in synergy with the movement of his broomstick smacking into the back of the pirate's knee. Losing grip on his stance, Junbei shortened his grip's on the broom, slamming the broom stick's with immense force into the pirate's neck area, the force of the attack was enough to render him unconscious.

Temporarily though it seemed, Michael quickly snapped back into consciousness, attempting to choke Junbei out of consciousness. Slamming the broom's sticks into the man's ribcage, it added enough force to silence the enraged Pirate Captain. The jaws of the onlooker's watched, astonished at the man's swift defeat. Unfortunately, the broom sticks broke. "Damn it!" Junbei exclaimed. "Now this is going to come out of my paycheck! Seriously!" Junbei exclaimed sighing. "He's worried about the brooms..." the crowd exclaimed in shock at the man's concern's at this moment.

One of the pirates who drew their weapon against the blonde, looked back startled to see their Captain laying flat-out on the ground. "He wasn't able to fight off Lucas but he's fighting evenly- No, dominating Captain. Who in the world is this brat!?" the pirate exclaimed. "I need to get us out of this... We're losing the upper-hand." the crew member thought backing away sneaking in the direction of the restaurant owner and the kid.

OOC: Got it, I kinda figured this guy was a pushover haha. Thanks for the heads up.

Cyrus's eyebrow raised, piqued with curiosity at the man's mention of raising money for two. Two meant he wasn't the loner type Cyrus initially pegged him as. The plot thickens. He mumbled but said nothing more, noting that the man hadn't given his name as Cyrus had asked. He wasn't too hurt though, considering Cyrus himself had given a fake name. Regardless, there were more important matters at hand currently and Cyrus turned his attention to them for the moment. While Junbei dealt with their captain, it seemed the crew was Cyrus's for the day. Alright gents, now watch closely because what I'm about to do is going to happen very quickly and I wouldn't want anyone to get confused, alright? Cyrus said with a smile before unsheathing his sword and springing the scythe blade from its concealed area along the length of the cane. In quick, fluid movements Cyrus brought the sickle upwards, slicing the air and then brought he sword down, through the pocket of air. The sword itself had sparked ablaze for a moment, just long enough to ignite the oxygen and create a small explosion of flames in front of Cyrus. The explosion would go outward however, away from Cyrus and Junbei and directly into the faces of Michael's crew.

The crew stood in a ring around Cyrus and Junbei with all but one of them being within range of the fireball. Luckily, for them anyway, they stood far enough away that the fireball would simply knock them down and possibly burn their faces and hands a bit but they would in fact survive. With most of the crew taken care of Cyrus would scan his surroundings, his weapons already back in their hiding places within his cane. For the grunts, and most likely the civilians that gathered around to watch, it would appear as though Cyrus had never moved. Noticing that he was short a grunt, Cyrus saw a similarly dressed man running off in the direction the manager and kid thief had run.

Sighing, Cyrus took off, blurring out of existence and right behind the left over henchmen. With a quick movement of his cane, Cyrus knocked the man's knees together painfully. The man would fall and Cyrus would unhinge the scythe blade once more looping it under the man's neck who lay on the ground. Leaning down, Cyrus would half whisper to the man, Look, I know you're trying to be cheeky, running after the boy and what not. Captain's orders and all that rif raf but honestly, that was just dumb. So here's what's going to happen, you're going to get up, go check on your friends back there and get them out of here. Most of them are suffering from some degree of burn so make sure, at the very least, you get some cold water on them ASAP, okay? Cyrus stood up to full fight, pulling the scythe upwards and with it the man's neck. He was careful not to cut too deeply but the pressure was enough to cause a thin trickle of blood to appear. Of course you don't have to listen to my suggestions. I could just end it all for you right here. No more fighting, no more annoying orders, no more anything. Just a peaceful black void for the rest of...oh, say...eternity? Your call friend, I'm up for whatever.

'Without music, life would be a mistake.
Magic. Junbei didn't even have time to inspect the damage caused by the Revolutionary and the collateral damage infringed upon the grunts of the Michael Pirates. This showed him an image he remembered viewing once before on a poster, he was almost certain who this man's identity was but even if he now knew the face, he didn't know his name. In the flurry of the moment, much like his music, Junbei becomes entranced with his combat scenarios. It was inexperience, a solider on a battlefield yet untrained by the hardships of Paradise. In time, he'd learn to keep aware of everything around him but until that time arose, he'd continue to grow. The kid and the owner were safe, Junbei wondered if he'd ever see the two again, as they'd ran off in the distance.

The crowd had grown so big that it was as if the two gentlemen were fighters in a coliseum. "I'm accustomed to these sort of numbers for my music not my combat skills." Junbei said smiling. "Though, I still have much work to do if I can't even defeat someone of this caliber without struggling." Junbei said, looking towards the broom stick's he'd broken. The pirates huddle among themselves, each of them shouldering their boss, running off from the scene of the crime. Yes, both men had broken the rule of thumb about fighting within the city. The final grunt who lied at the mercy of the reaper's gallows screamed, "I get it! Damn! I'll change my life! I just wanted fame and fortune! Michael promised us it all in Paradise!" the grunt screamed, almost passing out from the realization that he might loose his life in one false move.

"Hey. I know you from the posters ain't it?" Junbei said hovering around the man playfully, inspecting his appearance in hopes of sparking a name. Junbei began to ponder inventively, if staring had a noise, Junbei's actions would have a song track. In the distance, footsteps could've been heard. The sound of the platoon's feet pounding against the street corner's dirt trail for a road, left a cloud of dust in their wake. "Well. I think it's time for this performance to end. Hey blonde, can I buy ya' a drink? I thought it'd be the only person willing to step in for that kid. When I saw him kick the kid... I couldn't help but want to smash his face in. Humans can be so cruel." Junbei said dashing off, pointing towards his workplace at the Moonlight Inn.

It was closed at this time of day and in this city, townspeople never disclose information about pirates or squabbles such as this to the marine core unless civilians are harmed. Popping into the shop which was roughly five meters away would then be the perfect hideaway. No code was needed for their efforts to be rewarded, the townspeople clapped and cheered for the men who'd suppress the pirates, calling them 'heroes' to the marines who'd eventually approach. If the green capped rebel would accept his offer, he'd offer him a drink on the house, the boss wouldn't even notice it one bit. Unless he was a ghost or something that is, the man thought of the notion made him smirk a little.

Cyrus smiled, he had to admit he was taking a little bit of pleasure in this grunt's begging, Alright, alright, don't wet yourself. Cyrus said, retracting the scythe blade back into the cane and allowing the man to get up and get out. Oh, but before you go a little advice. Put your faith in someone else, okay? Maybe pick your friends a little better next time. Just a thought. Cyrus said with a shrug, resting his cane on his right shoulder. He took his hat off with his other hand, inspecting it before brushing it against his leg several times to get the dirt and dust off. It was only now that he really noticed the crowd, he wasn't much for public displays but what's done is done as they say and he decided to take it in stride. Giving a bit of a bow to the crowd, Cyrus smiled as the man he had been holding hostage for a moment ran off with the remainder of his friends.

Cyrus turned to Junbei as the other man spoke, Posters? Hmm, maybe, couldn't really say. Although I do often get told I have a familiar face. He still wasn't sure about the kid, not that he didn't trust him but there was no point in drawing any more attention to himself than had already been done. In the distance over Junbei's shoulder he could hear the noises of Marines mobilizing and sighed. Part of him wanted to engage these Marines. The pirates had been pushovers and while they jumpstarted his desire to spill blood, they had left him feeling a bit empty, unable to satiate that desire. Then again, Junbei had offered a drink to which Cyrus said, Oh jeez, I thought you'd never ask. It seemed today alcohol won out over violence as Cyrus followed Junbei into the bar.

Pulling the blinds of the pub's curtain type entrance, Junbei opened the pub's back windows, letting the fresh air come through. Placing the closed sign on the outside, Junbei hopped over the bar counter. Selecting a bottle of brown barrel rum, Junbei's favorite liquor, Junbei took two mugs off the wrack, pour about eight ounces in each mug, finishing the mix with a fruit juice the bartender had on chill. Dropping a few of cubes into the mugs, Junbei picked up his glass while, sliding the mug towards the blonde who was still standing, entering into the pub behind him. "You're pretty much a monster old man. Hehe..." Junbei exclaimed, as he sipped his drink. "Either that or your one heck of a magician. Why's someone of your caliber here in Jaya?" Junbei inquired.

Hopping back over, Junbei sat on top of the stool, sitting directly to the right of the blonde. "What's your name by the way... If you don't mind me asking. It's pretty rude of me to meet you again one day and be calling you 'blonde'. Name's Junbei Von Echo." Junbei said, finishing his drink, pouring a second mixture.

Cyrus took the mug thankfully, observing the concoction of liquor and fruit juice thoughtfully before taking a sip. It was an interesting combo, the dark liquor followed by a tang of fruit. It wasn't his favorite drink in the world, but it was far from the worst he had ever had. Cyrus raised an eyebrow at the accusation of being an "old man", Old man?! I'm what? Five, six, seven years at the most older than you. How old do I look? Cyrus asked, shaking his head, If I look that bad I really do need to stop drinking. He sighed before taking another sip of the beverage. Cyrus looked around the bar for a minute, taking in his surroundings. It was old, weathered and well used but it certainly had character. He turned back to Junbei, Someone of my caliber? Hmm, you say that like it's impressive. I'm nothing special, certainly not in these waters. If you're judging me based on that scuffle out there then I should be asking you the same thing considering how quickly you dealt with that hot head.

Cyrus swirled the liquid around in his mug, absently. He took a seat on one of the bar stools by the bar itself, sitting across from where Junbei stood. He smirked as the boy asked him his name, It sounded to me like you already knew my name out there. You can call me Cyrus though, nice to meet you Junbei. He said, extending his hand. Cyrus wasn't one to beat around the bush, unless it was to amuse himself, so he decided to cut to the chase, So what's a child killer working as a barkeep doing here on Jaya Island? He said it quietly enough so that anyone listening wouldn't be able to make out the words exchanged between the two of them. He studied Junbei's face, looking for tells that might better let him read the boy's reactions.

"Certainly your much more known in these waters for your actions than I am anyway Mr.Reaper of the Revolutionary Amry."
Junbei said, sipping his mixture candidly. "I'd imagine in your field of work having a bounty is just part of the job description. I'd imagine combating the World Government comes with it's stress at least you don't have grey hair yet, Gishishi Gishishi." Junbei said chuckling extending his hand and shaking the man's hand firmly as a sign of respect, however his grip weakened as the term 'child killer' came into play. "I guess no lack of information comes to a man of your caliber. To be honest, it's a long story but if you don't mind listening to this childhood story of mine I'd be willing to elaborate." Junbei said, pouring more rum into his cup.

Getting up from his seat, Junbei walked over to the piano which keys were covered from the fall-board, sitting on the cushioned chair, Junbei's fingers began to dance along the keyboard, "It's a pretty sombre tale, hopefully this will add the right effect." Junbei said, playing gently, so the music could form the backdrop of his story. "To make a long story short, I was part of a government experiment on an island called Base #45 in the South Blue. I was abandoned on an island by the name of Baterilla and the lieutenant who ran that branch took a bunch of us from the orphanage there under the scheme of making us 'reformed citizens' since most of the orphans in Baterilla were prone to crime." Junbei said, scuttling out the notes from the grand piano.

The music's progression changed, "I arrived at Base #45. What many of us called 'The Second Hell' because we were sure that if the afterlife existed, this was a carbon copy." Junbei stated. "One day... The pain from the experiments became so great that it broke me. I was fine until that day... I never talked much actually I used to be a mute prior due to my trauma from being abandoned. Long story short, the experiment on my body went South and when I came to they were all dead. All ten of the other children at Base #45 were motionless. I remember glimpses of their screaming sometimes at night time. Snippets of their faces... Some of them even begged me to kill him." Junbei concluded.

Halting his playing, "I ruined our drinking session." Junbei said, turning back towards the bar. "Once I found out what Base #45, I was disgusted. I plotted my escape and never looked back since. A human experimentation lab... The project I was part of was called 'Aegis'. My codename was Echo, hence my surname, I never knew mine. My only memory before Hell was my name." Junbei stated. "I did dream of joining the revolutionary when I by an off chance managed to escape but I was so lost in my trauma, that I turned to piracy, taking my anger out on the world. However, I found the answer to my frustration and decided to travel to the New World to live out her dream." Junbei said smiling. "The dream of the girl who wanted to become a pirate." Junbei said smirking slightly.
