I'll travel to discover true freedom. ▆ "And my eyes stayed firmly grasped on the goddess. Her silk pattern-" the inner minuscule monologue of Zeke's reading was stopped short by the sound of the revolutionary's dropping anchor in Logue Town. Money, weapons, traveling supplies and more importantly Log Posts are all possible items Zeke needs to acquire before leaving the island. His thoughts were interrupted by the Captain of the ship knocking on the cabin door, in which he laid half dressed in boxer shorts and an opened white dress shirts with several buttons scaling upwards for the fabric's tight fit. "Thanks again... If it weren't for you, my crew would've been stranded at sea for days. We've always ad' a problem wid keeping Navi's around these parts." the Captain would say in his broken, southern blue accent. "I'd love to stay' on wid ya' but I have some business to attend to in 'little port'" Zeke said, code switching from his usual, prim and proper pattern to accommodate the Captain. "I see ya' familiar with the slang' eh boyo. This be no little port though. Logue Town is the hub for all hot shots loking' to make a name for themselves, better be wary." the Captain concluded, shuffling around his jacket for a pipe. "Believe me, I'll be fine old man." Zeke said switching back to standard English, picking himself up and smiling in a friendly manner towards the Captain. "Despite my scrawny frame... I'm actually pretty nifty with a sword, Rishishi..." Zeke said, picking himself up to get dressed for the adventure ahead in town. "Not gonna' say goodbye to Kempt?" the Captain asked. "He's helped me more than enough in these last few years... I'd rather say nice to see him again next time we meet." Zeke concluded. "Bring us some more fucking sweets bitch!" the mercenary, Mur screamed gobbling a bottle of tea, flavored as rice wine."This isn't even a bar anyway..." one of the waitresses of the Taka Tea & Sweats Shop whispered under her breath. Mur hopped to his feet from his chair, which was suspended on two chair legs to walk over to the girl. Hiccuping, Mur picked the waitress up by her hair and his hot boozy breath abruptly screwed with her sense of smell and her lunch. "What was that bitch!?" the man shouted. "Do you know who our boss is, huh!? Bring us more tea! More snacks! Hell if I wanted, bring us your ass back here half dressed." the man said, licking the woman's neck with his weevil of a tongue. "That's more than enough Reputed Customer." Taka shouted sternly. Dropping the waitress, who then scuttled off to the kitchen, the boss of the Tea Shop, Taka appeared before the mercenaries, with the brightest smile possible that it would take to suppress her scowling lip. Mur walked over to Taka, as he was about to reach his hand out to touch the woman, the sound of a rice wine gourd hitting his head, knocked the man out. The remainder three mercenaries began to cackle, as the leader of the pack, Ribon stopped Mur. "I apologize missy. He doesn't get much eh... As the former cage for our little birdie, he should treat you with more respect. Afterall, once L.A. Richards is dead... We'll all be filthy stinking rich bastards who could pay for all the snacks in this store." the man said proudly. Pointing towards her lower regions, "Any kind of snack." the man said winking. "Pigs." Taka shouted, rushing to check on the harassed waitress. "Call me what you want babe. Once you call me at all. Yahahaha... Men Drink Up! Rice Wine Tea's on me!" Ribon shouted. "All in the name of our boss, Big B!" Ribon shouted, plopping back into his chair. "100,000 Beli for that blade." the merchant argued, scratching his head. "Look. I've been looking through selections all day... I do agree, yours are some of the best I found but I'm not paying that much for a blade of this caliber." Zeke said sighing, using his top hat to fan himself from the hot and humid climates. "How about 85,000?" Zeke said grinning. "IT'S ALL READY ON SPECIAL FOR 100,000, this blade is worth at least 250,000 Beli! This blade is known as the Golden Lion-" the man began to rant. Zeke left the 100,000 on the table and walked away during the man's speech. "Thanks. I think I'll call this, Beak. Irony is, it's fairly long. Rishishi" Zeke exclaimed. . |
