Description:Reina has started to gain a lot of noteriety locally and it has pissed some people off. Remnants of the vampire blood fruit user spurred on by kiretsu's henchmen go after Reina's friend Lana. Now she has to duel with these freaks to save her friend. Their ring leader has set up a challenge for reina during the hide tide of the aqua laguna, the interim before it actually crashes into W7.

It was just after Reina met Allen and became a newly promoted commodore that she would come across a fiendish woman Named Cecille De Vou. Miss De vou isn't what you call wife material. It would be a stretch to even call her person material. She's a notorious woman backed by the world government and quickly rose through the ranks until she reached Cipher pol 6 not too long ago. Up until now she's been under a loose leash and has spent her time becoming a world reknown whore. The catch is she'd have affairs with anyone and anything really and that range varied from fishmen, men,giants and women. Nobody understood why, but she would talk to people one minute. The next they would be groveling at her feet like a dog who has submitted to its master. Cecille isn't a woman who has very many connections despite her reputation, which baffles most onlookers. However there are a few people who do know who she really is, that would be a love love human. A person who involuntarily makes almost everyone fall in love with her. Kiretsu being the twisted individual that he is, ended up being immune to her powers and real advances. Thus a friendship was born, between that which could not feel sadness and that which could never have a real relationship.

" Hello?", the blue haired woman said as she groggily placed her hand on her den den mushi. A voice low came from the snail who had a blue streak down its left eye. It had a meek grin as its mouth smoothly projected the caller's voice to her. She was surround by various men and woman who were nude and sprawled over on the floor, on her bed and throughout the rest of the suite slowly rose with an elongated yawn. Rubbing her eyes she held the bed sheet that barely contained her curved to her chest, looking around momentarily at the people she didn't even remember the names of. " Oh hey kirry, how's it hanging?", she asked as she sauntered about the room, tip toeing through the passed out drunks. " jejejeje So you had another fun night I presume? The sound of those slobs keeps echoing on mah end". Cecille chuckled as she slipped her clothing on, which fit perfectly to a T. " I presume you want something?"

Later that morning:

Meanwhile on the island Reina was practically hurled from her bed by Lana, who was now dragging her out of bed with a scowl upon her face. " How is it that you never are ready for work COMMODORE RE-IN-A?", she asked in a syllabic fashion. The blonde only ever did this when she was ready to burst out in anger, or perhaps when she was frustrated as hell with her friend. The red head who was in all honesty way too groggy to really register what was going on. She'd just cry slightly as her ear reddened and spouted some half asleep slur in response to Lana. " I unno what---uh big deal tired". With that her friend pulled even harder as the two almost crashed into the lobby. For the first few days it was the biggest shock the hotel had ever experienced. But nowadays it was as natural as waking up to the dawn of a new day. " Oi oi Lana, you two knock em dead. Today's gonna be hectic".

Lana paused, causing Reina's face to plop into her butt cheek. " What's today mister'? The man with a look of dismay shook his head and held a newspaper over the counter. Lana innocently grabbed the paper to find the main headline: AQUA LAGUNA INCOMING EARLY THIS YEAR, THE STRONGEST YET. Lana let go of Reina and shook her head, leaving the red head to fall over. When Reina didn't rise right away she began to smack her friend's head over and over with the newspaper. " We don't know what's going on here because you keep shirking your duty! Why do we know about the storm after the citizens we're supposed to be protecting? HUH MISSY"? Her voice carried far that morning, a vein popping out as she glared at reina while huffing and puffing from shouting at her. As reina sat up and went to speak her friend smacked her face again, " No excuses! You promised you'd be on top of things. You dragged me along when I said there were things to be done"! Reina now stood up sighing rather nonchalantly, " What's an Aqua laguna anyways? Jeez so a big storm is coming yada yada, there's big stuff going down Lana. We gotta---.". She paused as Lana didn't even stick around to hear the rest of what she was saying. Before she could relieve her friend from duty for the laguna prep, Lana stormed off stomping as she left the lobby. All the on lookers looked vexed, shaking their heads at Reina who didn't get what was going on.

However there was one other person in the lobby that day. She had just arrived to find Lana politely storming off beside her as the blue haired woman entered the building. Their shoulders met, which was all one needed to fall under her spell,but for some reason Lana didn't respond. This intrigued her greatly,but she had to deal with the supposed small fry that her employer wanted dealt with. As she entered the vexed looks of the hotel staff started to lessen, the air itself seemed to change. Among all of them was the befuddled red head who absent mindedly began to head for the door. But before Reina who was scratching her head could leave, Cecille placed her hand on her shoulder. " Excuse me miss,but do you have a moment?"

Cecille approached Reina with a sense of absolute confidence, a feeling of absolute confidence which seemed to pervade her every step. Her hand felt cold and lifeless. There was a feeling about it, as if she didn't have a pulse. Empty and longing feeling which didn't reach Reina in the slightest. " Uh 'scuse me miss but I gotta head off to do some things", she said rather coldly. The red head lightly pulled herself way as Cecille's hand lowered in disbelief. Her cheeks flushed and eyes widened as not one,but two girls passed her up like it was nothing. She rubbed her cheeks and moaned ever so slightly as the hotel staff slowly crept up on the blue haired woman. She smirked and left them behind without a single thought, leaving the lobby full of befuddled guests and staff.

Reina on the other hand went straight for the marine headquarters on the island where it was finally busy for once. " Excuse commodore but there's a call for you on lin--", said the portly secretary on the other side of the greeting desk. She was rather awestruck by the look of absolute rage painted on her commander's face. Reina moved without regard for anyone, moving people aside with the gesture of her hand, as if she was sliding people objects out of the way. The people stumbled about. Reporters and various workers from around the island cautiously tried to get her attention desperately. None of them individually would get any orders or even a slight response.

Upon her desk was a massive stack of papers, a mountain if you will. She took both her arms and wiped it clean, tossing everything aside and sending it all tumbling to the floor. Leaving behind a few den den mushis which were blaring under the mass of papers. She clicked the first receiver and was assaulted by an angered man. " Watch who you're talking to captain. Unlike these other fools, I'll have your head". The captain piped down. The den den's furrowed eyes relaxed and a calm,but meek snail was all that was left among the ringing and uproarious office. " Send this message to the others, we're moving along with plan delta". The snail was about to about to make another comment as signaled by the way it hesitated,but it postulated itself and acknowledged her order.

Slowly but surely the den den mushis began to calm down until the room was left without the sputtering ring they had. The red head began to make her way to the door and onto the streets of Water seven. Which had looked as chaotic and ravaged already. The storm hadn't even came along yet.

All over the island marines formed a star if you were to see it from above. Someone in the slums, shipbuilding yard, upper district, lower district, and main marketplace all did something to gain the island's attention. It was customary for the marines to use explosives, fireworks and other means to get their attention. Reina opted to cut a guard tower in half, slicing through its stone foundation with ease. As it fell, onlookers ran away in shock and those who were near by cleared the way for the falling structure. A giant dust cloud was left in its wake,but standing atop of the rubble was Reina, shoulders held back and back straightened with a solemn expression upon her face. All was silent as she cleared her throat to speak, " I want two single file lines heading toward the second level of water seven! Shop owners may stay behind to secure their buildings as best they can. The rest of you move out"!

None of them dared speak out against the fiery commander who spent a good portion of her day clearing out the area. Whether it was dictating what he subordinates should do when it came to which areas to sweep for stragglers. Or perhaps it was her directing traffic herself, that day was spent getting the civilians out of harm's way. Somewhere deep within she was feeling slightly frustrated with them. They were like children to her, needing guidance at every step. No it was different, it was almost as if they were cattle being herded into their pens. Never the less she continued to deal with best of them,but also the worst. There were some which made her question the value of certain people. People you wished were mindless idiots because it would at least explain why they did something so cruel. But along the way she ended up having to deal with predators who were preying on little children and distressed individuals everywhere she went. Sometimes she just opted to cut certain people down despite the looks she got. Leaving people crying on the ground as they bled out.

Often times her men would tend to the wounds of people she cut down,but they couldn't keep up as the criteria for scum started to lessened in her mind as the day went on. Then as if it were a dream to forget, the streets were quiet. Not a peep remained, not even from a mouse. The winds started to assault her, howling and causing the ocean to become destructive. The ebb and flow the waves began to rise and become more violent as they crashed against the normally busy sidewalk. Reina clicked her den den and opened up all four channels to address the newcomers and old captains she had gotten along with these past few months, " Is everything clear"? Five voices came from the den den, four she recognized and one vaguely familiar. Her channels was forcefully closed and all that remained was a silent but erry snail with blue hair. " I've got Lana, now you got time for me honey"?

A chilling laugh came from the other side of the receiver, on her end the sound of a distressed snail started to ebb in her ears. " Now now, let's not crush the poor den den. It won't help you on so many levels dear". Reina calmed herself and loosened her grip on the baby den den. The storm started to rage around her, pulling guard rails and whole chunks of the sidewalk with each wave. The storm was just beginning and it was already tearing apart the island, making it slightly hard to even stay standing among the chaos. " Where is she"? The den den daintily chuckled once more, " What makes you think I'll answer th--".

Without hesitation she began to run while her eyes started to exude a faint hue which had the aesthetic of heat. (Kenbushoku haki)The world started to flood her senses and she used to her sixth sense to try and scan for signs of life. Jumping from roof to roof she traversed the island looking for anything and any clues. As she ran about the den den was starting to beep constantly. the more she ignored it, the louder it became even over the howling winds and thunderous crash of the waves.

Thugs started to appear though,but they weren't normal. Some of them could barely stand. Most of them sauntered toward her with flushed faces(T0 grunts). They absent mindedly tried to slash at her,but reina didn't even have to deal with them seriously. A sloppy slash came and she would just redirect the blade as if the person was drunk and shove them off the roof. There were numerous grunts that seemed to be drawn to the ring of the den den. They seemed to come at her with more zeal with the sound of her den den went off. Suddenly becoming more  competent and zealous.Granted most of them were left in the dust,but when the occasional one tried to grab hold of her, she accurately chop their hand off and keep moving forward, toward the building sense of danger her haki started to give off.

When she came to river crossing its it was much worse, now she was on steady ground. Some were starting to become more competent(Tier 1 marines) as the sense of danger rose. But still only armed with a sword she simply sliced through the iron blades like butter, taking the person down at the same time. Some of them were her own men, other were from other islands as evidenced by the differences in their uniforms. Those with emblems from other places were mercilessly cut down, while those with the water seven wave on their hearts were thrashed into the wall.

Reina starting to get tired of searching eventually turned the den den on to find the company around her starting to slow down, the sense of danger at the horizon growing fainter. " Oh darling please let's never fight again. Come to me my little rose. Let us make haste!". Reina wanted to test something out and so she hung up once more. The sense of danger started to grow, this time becoming even more pronounced. It was as if there was a random glob of people fast approaching her,but they all were coming from the same direction. With a grin she began to sprint against the wave of incoming people. Several lieutenants(Tier 2) started to lunge toward her. Reina calmed her mind as her blade seemed to sing a rage induced song. She'd lunge to the side and slash through them easily.  Sometimes taking down four or five guys at the same time. Though they moved quicker than the others, they were without thought. Approaching her not even with the basics of their training and for that she'd take advantage of each every one of their sloppy charges.

Lunging under groups of entire enemies all attacking in unison and avoiding their blades altogether, cutting them down, blade and all. The danger kept getting worse as she fast approached the rich districts skyline. Stronger fellows tried to dispatch her, guys that were actually competent. As the weather conditions got worse and the storm raged on, these soaked fellows in white jump suits similar to the cecille all came rushing in toward her. Using their telegraphed attacks against them, she side step a shigan and then slice him in half. Bodies were falling left and right as she ascended the small hill leading to the half way point between the safe zone and the danger zone.

The four remaining pols were solemnly perched at the top of the wall, with the center cipher's arm help erect. His men all had their guns trained on Reina, who was slowly approaching them as if there was no big deal. She preemptively cocked her arm, focusing everything she had into it as her senses started to ring danger bells. At the split second before the fired, she send a wind slash of vacuumed air barreling down upon the group's line of fire. Disintegrating their shots breaking the line, allowing her to begin to assault them up close and personal under the cover of the dust, leaving only the ciphers and her ringing office den den.

The four ciphers got into a box formation, holding their positions exactly 10 feet from her at each corner. The commander who set the gunfire off earlier gestured toward her den den with a nod, wordless but becoming more hostile the longer she delayed the call. Reluctantly she picked up the receiver, expecting to hear the slobbering cecille on the other side. This time it was Lana, distressed and panicked. " Hold up LANA, calm down"! Her voice roared over the elements, seemingly calming down the blone haired girl. " Please don't come Reina".  She stomped her foot, teeth grit and eyes furrowed at the crying snail, but before she could say anything its appearance changed. leaving nothing but a happy grin and blue hair. " I think negotiations are in order. Since you hurt my feelings, we're going to play a game. It's simple, save lana before the laguna gets 'er. She's at the north dock's chapel. Toodles~". 

The den den went dead from the gun shot from one of the ciphers. The others followed suit, leaving reina no choice but to charge forth when they all backed away at breakneck speed in the blink of an eye, dropping off a cliff on their own and disappearing from sight. The wind now howling and the oceans roar reverberated throughout the island. What was intermittent blasts of wind now surged and became monstrous gusts of wind that threatened to rip anything not tied down and into the air. She braced self and used the wind to her advantage, slightly hovering as she plummeted off the cliff and onto the root tops once more. Racing from roof to roof under gunfire from marines stationed everywhere. It wasn't until one shot actually grazed her that she decided to  use the buildings for cover, which prompted the ciphers to make their move. Giant windscars ripped through the tall apartment complex she was running through. If not for her training with using keeping steady even on unsteady footing, she'd be a goner. Without hesitation she leapt out the other side of the building by smashing through the wall and ending up in another. The ciphers were starting to get more accurate, sending wind blades that her ken haki could send aimed right for her. The next coming at a diagonal, almost cutting her in half if she didn't drop backward and fall on her butt in a limbo position. The windscar ate the building and sent it careening to the ground.  Reina didn't stop for more than a few seconds and dove off another building, rolling forward to find the ciphers surrounding her. She drew her blade making it reverberate ominously as she focused her mind. As the first came barreling in with a swift round house kick aimed at lobbing her head off.

She dropped to the floor, spinning and slashing the cipher in half down the middle with a vertical slash. As the blade ate through the roof, she rolled out of the way to see a gun pointed at her. The ciphers switched it up if they could not use tekkai against her. The first came careening toward her chest,but she blocked it with the aid of her ken haki, darting toward the two ciphers. But before she could get to them, another sent another windscar toward her. This time she slashed at the ground beneath her, dropping under to avoid the attack and dove out another window. The ocean was raging even harder, her ken haki was making her senses go nuts. Something was coming. " I gotta hurry" she whispered to herself as she landed on a new building continually running toward the church.

The sound of gunshots rang throughout, but barely any actually posed a threat at this point. The flushed zombies as she called them were not only bad shots,but the wind was causing more than 9/10 of the shots to basically careen into space. On occasion she needed to block,but most of the shoots never came close to hitting her. Still using the buildings at cover she started to catch onto the ciphers' tricks, finally meeting the three before the church once more as she dropped into the muddy earth below her, charging toward the church. Now located at the coast, she knew there was no more time left. The ciphers were losing their focus themselves, starting to get nervous now that she was right at the church's doorstep. The ring leader sent another windscar at her,but she charged toward it, her stomach and arms becoming blackened like her katana. The Scar broke upon her chest and fell apart sending wind flying about them. Caught off gaurd by her show of busho haki, Reina was able to dispatch two ciphers with a "U" slash,before tackling the man and thrusting him into the church's door. Her blade now buried deep into the leader's shoulder, he was pinned to the floor accompanied by a loud crash and sound of cracking marble beneath them.

At the altar was Lana tied up, a howling gust ripping through the church's vestibule. There Cecille was, putting on her lipstick and pucking her lips. Unphased by the wind she looked back at Reina with a flushed face. " Oh c'mon red head. Marry me"! Reina's blade quickly ripped up the cipher's shoulder into his skull, marble ground and all. She effortlessly pulled the blade out and swung it to clean it of the cipher's blood. The red head covered head to toe in blood, her eyes a deathly glow. A faint tint glit in the chapel's lights. Her blade trembled,but not because she was scared or exhausted. No, reina was furious and her rage seemed to envelop her very being. As she approached the two, Lana was slightly frightened by the stone cold expression on Reina's face. An expression which was becoming more pronounced lately. Food, jokes and her usual curiosity no longer phased her. The air headed reina she first met who wanted a spooky ship was gone. In her place was a woman wracked by stress and seething with hatred, as if the humanity in her was all but gone. Like a rabid dog, Reina brandished her blade and charged forth. Cecille obliged her, meeting her sword head on at an angle, causing the force from the red head's swing to fly off. With speed reina had never seen, she thrust with intimidating accuracy causing Reina to coat the rest of her neck and head with haki. She backed up as the woman threw thrusts of her rapier toward Reina's legs. 

Her blade started to become jet black. Cecille's fingers caressed the blade and and flirted with its edge. " Shall we do this mon sherri~"? Reina's teeth grit as her blade started to spark a powerful current of electricity.The two started to exchange blows, the impact of their clashes sending the seats in the place flying. Their shockwaves causing the glass to fly everywhere, exposing themselves fully to the wrath of the storm. Each time Cecil used a pattern, Reina used that knowledge in conjuction with her kenbusho haki to counter her combos. The two's fight left the church behind and into the streets of water 7. The two locked blades in front of the church, the clash sending rubble flying everywhere. Cecille was sent sliding back with the help of the rain making the stone path slippery. " High tide's dear, you better hurry if'n you don't want to wanna end up having our wedding at the bottom of the sea"!

Meanwhile:
Lana whose torso was bound and hanging from a rope from the church's cross, heard it creak. With a combination of the wind and her own movement, she began to swing to and fro until it finally broken. On the floor as the two swordswomen clashed with great intensity, she took up a shard of glass and began to slowly cut and loosen her bindings until she too, could make them come undone. With haste she sprint toward the entrance started to pat down the dead cipher. " C'mon where ar-- ah ha there you are"! She found the dead cipher's den den mushi and switch the channel to water 7's headquarters. " Hello, come in command do you copy"?

" Commander hughes at your service, whom am I speaking to"? Lana ducked to the side, a loud thunderous crash sent rubble flying everywhere. " Hello hello,  who is this and what's the situation"? Lana breathed heavily, gritting her teeth. " It's ensign Lana Dresden, under direct command of Commodore Reina Lynheart. Requesting back up at coordinates 825, 823 990. Confirm"? 


There was a pause, but then the Den den mushi took on the feature of a curly mustache. " So miss sassy pants is a commodore? On our way Miss Dresden! HOLD ON"!

Rogers and his detail sped off into the night, whipping their reins to make them go as fast as possible. " What's the ETA until high tide"? Rogers yelled over the roaring winds, fighting against their influence by practicing hugging his yagura bull. "I'd reckon 10 minutes at best"! Rogers gave him a thumbs up and whipped his bull's reins once more, signaling it to practically spring as fast as it could for as long as it could. Although he had a smile on his face, rogers was the most nervous of his rescue squad. " heh, we may need bailing out too".

Reina continued to clash with Cecille, almost oblivious to the world around her. She had all but learned Cecille's patterns. She had the strength, making a single wrong trade disasterous. However she had the disadvantage in speed and stamina, which she was finding as they clashed over and over. The blue haired woman was starting to gain the upper handing, only leaving reina the ability to predict and back away. However cecille too was figuring out her pattern and forcing reina into a wall. With no other choice she abandoned all defense and lunged toward Cecille exposing herself to 101 different ways to skewer her. However unlike cecille, reina had one last card up her sleeve. As the blue haired cipher went in for the killing blow, Reina jumped kicked her opponent's hand and knock her blade out of her hand. With that same momentum she performed a backflip and upward vertical slash at the same time.

Unfortauntely Reina's slash was met with Cecille's buso haki,but at the same time Reina tackled her opponent who flinched the moment her blade made contact. Now with nowhere to run the red head stuck her blade into the blue haired woman's and began to run electricity through her body once more. The smell of burning flesh and the sound of her shrieks could be sensed even in the stormy wind. " I'm not just going to kill you bitch. I'm going to make you suffer!" Reina roared, shocking the woman again.

But just as Reina was going to continue her assault, a new cipher came out of nowhere and threw a dangerous dagger coated with haki. Reina immediately sensing the danger lunged backwards with her blade. The new cipher masked, was just about to start a fight with her when gun shots rang form the distance. Marine reinforcements were here as well, making the newcomer masked in a goat's head run off. Reina covered in blood both her own and her enemies collapsed, noticing the familiar figure come into view. He scooped her up and another gave Lana a piggyback ride. " Sassy pants, what happened to you"?

Reina losing all tension after the fight ended just sort of nodded and saluted back at the officer. " Heh, just like old times".

By the ninth mine they were able to make it back to the stairway to the second floor. The water began to recede quickly, but by then Reina had recovered enough of her strength to pull both yagara out of the water. Or rather the adrenaline junky in her enabled her to keep going regardless of how tired she was. " We got one last job bois, SURVIVE"! Yelled Rogers as he lead the charge up the stairway. The group with yagara in tow charged with all their might as the sound of the looming wave started to hum ever so softly. It was what the locals called the hymn of death. The other big guys with the other yagara fell off half way, pleading with the rest to keep going as they fell off due to fatigue. Reina herself was light headed. Her heart beat like a drum and her lungs burned something fierce. Her legs were like jelly and shoulder and back were sore from carrying, no sprinting up with the yagara in tow.

" You gotta let her go commodore! She'll be okay", shouted one of the grunts. Reina roared back, " Over my dead body"! Ironically enough that was certainly a possibility as the ground started to tremble. The stairway starting to crack as the wave crashed into the city walls. " We're gonna make it fluffy"!

Inch by inch they charged, some of the lesser marines fell due to fatigue. But not reina, rogers,and her friend lana. They practically dove into the ground. All who made it essentially flopped like limp fish. Each pulled away as the Aqua Laguna continued to rage on in the background. Howling as if it were infuriated that they escaped.
