Located on the ground level where the nobles sat the fleet admiral took up his post. His main responsibility was the Celestial Dragon and Other nobles who were speaking. Baku was to attend to any aggressors. The fox eyed Fleet Admiral said nothing as he let the nobles bicker among themselves. He even had to fight back a chuckle as they were all foolish in his eyes. Arguing over trivial things while the world slowly descended into chaos. He knew better than to butt into the arguments of those born into power. He knew when to speak and when to insert his opinion. For the moment he just walked quietly around the outskirts of the room with a grin on his face. As he was doing his duty as a guard for this meeting. He would not have haki activated but he was ready to act at a moments notice should things go south. For the moment he would rely on Baku who stood outside the main entrance of the room. His arms were held behind his back as he calmly strolled around the back of the room. Keeping a close eye on things.
'Such foolishness,' he would think to himself as he strolled around the room.
Some late arrivals came through the other entrance and conversed among themselves. The only person who could possibly hear the conversation between them would be the Fleet Admiral in his animal state. However, this was not the case. Baku's eyes cut across the hallway, meeting that of the fugitive known as Asher Kringle. In any other circumstance Baku would have sprung into action and subdue him on sight. Yet, due to the circumstances given he needed to stand guard. The only way he was to leave his post was if Asher were to do anything threatening. His eyes cutting over and seeing Asher would be more than enough of a warning to not do anything stupid right now. Yet, he still kept a watchful sense of things around him. Focusing on so many people would create a sort of blind spot for the explosives being placed in various areas in the building. Not saying anything he would continue to watch him. He could only place his right hand on the handle of his blade that rested on his right side. He was itching, hoping something would happen. He wasn't one for politics.
